Absolutely perfect food and great service... Ive loved the food and the atmosphere the place gives, my experience 4700 s. & Redwood Rd is so far perfect...
HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!! Great atmosphere, friendly staff, quick/amazing service! Our server, Jamahl, made our experience incredible!!
Love Dee's on 21st South and 7th East. Owner and manager Julie has an amazing staff. Service is amazing, food is redonkulously amazing and we always feel like family from the time we arrive, until we walk out the door.
Food was great, waitress was wonderful.
A Salt Lake City/Sugarhouse classic since I was a kid and I go there on average once a week. The food is consistently very good and the service is always great from everyone but especially spectacular from Sunshine. They have remodeled recently with new paint, upgraded booths, added new art, etc. The manager, Julie, runs a tight ship and is very hands on in the restaurant. I would certainly recommend it.
great service. Was amazed to be able to eat at Dee's again since the one in Ogden closed down. Thanks again.
Was there last night, food was good, our waitress was amazing.
Excellent food and OUTSTANDING service
Friendly service, well made food, delicious coffee. Breakfast All Day!!
The food was great and the service was fast and friendly I would definitely go back
Always great! Service and food. We U guys! Casey and Brittany are my faves!
I'm pregnant, and I could live off of dees, especially the lumberjack breakfast. It's amazing and so is the service. Thank you
They were packed but our server owned it! He rocked! Food was great!
Friendly and you are greeted by a glass case full of decadent pies and treats. Diner style seating and the coffee was hot and our meal quick and fresh. Our waitress was working hard and was friendly to boot. Glad we stopped in.
I like it. I love Dee's so much. Its the best after 1am when your drunk af. Good prices and good food. We go there all the time. But never before midnight. They are 24 hours and its perfect for when your hungry.
Fun place. This is a place that is fun to go to when hanging out with friends late at night, breakfast in the morning occassionally if you had an early morning event, etc. I used to go here just about every weekend during my senior year of high school. Always got those cheese fries, they're yummy and they were about the only thing I could afford back then. Occasionally I'd try something new, like the time my friend found a $20 bill at the gateway and we had no idea how to track down an owner. This place is very nostalgic for me, lots of memories of late night cheese fries, pancake mornings, ditching class, taking as many suckers as we could when the waitress wasn't looking. This is a great place for just having fun with some friends, not necessarily for getting a delicious five star meal.
Freaky Dee's!. There's a lot of both good and bad things about the Dee's on 2100 & 700. We always refer to it as "Freaky Dee's". It's the best place to go late at night no one wants to go home, or go to bed. There are some drunk/stoned people wandering in late at night, so if this is a negative for you, just stay home. I've never had a problem with the servers, they are quick and don't want to talk your ear off, which is a plus for me. Part of the fun of Dee's is to watch all the drunk people try to order their meals. It's a great place to people-watch and laugh with your friends. The food is hit and miss, which kind of makes me sad, as I love the so-bad-it's-awesome atmosphere. It can be on the greasy side, so a lot of the time I order a salad. (You have to tell them to drain it though, or the bottom half of your salad will be salad-soup.) Though their sweet potato fries and burgers are really good. All in all, this place is both good and bad, but we all love it.
Local Greasy Spoon. This is not a place you go for healthy options or ambiance. It is a local diner and it does damn fine job of being what it is. Known to me as "freaky Dee's" the patrons are known to be eccentric and the staff as well. It is not a threatening place just a low budget local diner. I would much rather this place over a chain like Denny's or Village Inn. The place may be colorful but I've never feared for my safety both from the food or people and always left with a full tummy and a full wallet. Can't beat that.
Reasonable and good. We ate here a couple times and we were satisfied. The service was prompt and the food was good.
One of the few breakfast places that's open early. It's got a retro diner feel inside and the staff are all great. Food is good for the price, big menu with lots to chose from. I prefer this location to taylorsville, it's cleaner and the service is slightly superior.
Have been coming back to dee's for breakfast and lunch and what I'll say is this: sandwhiches/burgers are the way to go. The breakfast food at dee's is just alright, not bad but not incredible. For the same price as breakfast you can get a delicious sandwhich with fries and fry sauce included! The sandwhiches are all so tasty and filling and a much better bang for your buck compared to the breakfast options.
Ella and Mikayla were so nice they helped our large group they were attentive and a lot of fun. The food was good. My only negative feedback is that parking lot is terrible to get into and out of.
Amazing old school real restaurant with sassy waitresses and perfect food. Loved it! Everything was exceptional. Was looking for a local breakfast restaurant that wasn't vegan and decided to try Dees. What a pleasant surprise for 2023. Great food, friendly staff and it really couldn’t get any better.
I had the ham and cheese omelette with a waffle and sugar free syrup, my wife had the strawberry cream cheese crepes with 2 eggs and hasbrowns. All of it was hot, tasty and filling. The crepes were light and creamy, the hash browns were hot, crispy, and had a good flavor. The wife's over medium eggs were cooked perfectly. The waffle was light, airy, and crispy. The omelette was stuffed and cooked well. It tasted wonderful. We had water and unsweetened ice tea to drink. Tina was a great waitress, she got us sugar free syrup when she found out we were diabetic. She was very attentive to all her diners even though it was busy.
This place has great service with an American diner vibe we like! The pancakes are huge, soft and fluffy! We like the grilled cheese sandwich more than the fried chicken steak, but both are not bad!
It was our first time there. We were greeted and seated immediately by a very nice waitress. She ended up being our server and made us feel at home. The food was great as well as the atmosphere.

Came in here a week ago, our server was that black gentleman I believe his name is Ibrahim, He was awesome super friendly. I'm pretty typical when I order here which is the crepes. This time I tried The blueberry. Delish. I feel like my life gets a little bit better every time I eat crepes My dad used to serve them to me when I was younger and these is the one restaurant that they kind of tastes similar to my dad's. Again my tastes are always different than everybody else's but I come back to this place regularly. And I always tip like between 30 and 50%. How can you not with breakfast being that cheap.
Great service. They were super busy, so it was a bit of a wait. But not bad. Food was fantastic. Felt home cooke, which is amazing. Definitely the old time diner ambiance. Will come here again.
Best food with great customer service. They remember me from my last two visit! I go in and order the 2 DEE Cheeseburger with fries very delicious recommend it! All to go and I ordered a world famous scones definitely recommend ordering Scones during breakfast or for a dessert the Scones have a dipping honey butter sauce delicious! Everything was ready to go in less 11 minutes and it was nice and hot and packaged in go containers! Even the soda and coffee was in a go cups! Dee’s is more then just fine dining inside . You also order the food to go with the best customer service experience!
I'm giving this restaurant 5stars due to excellent service. The food as we all know is so-so (not the best but definitely satisfying) but the service and reception from the server to manager was amazing. Of course we came on a weeknight early dinner but my experience may be different on a weekend when it's really busy 🙂
Stumbled upon this place on the way to to airport. Great staff and friendly service and I can’t say enough about their breakfast. It’s Dee-licious for sure. Heavenly biscuits. 10 Stars!!!
What a fabulous place! The decor was "dinner" style. Very clean.
The price was very reasonable. The food was delicious..
The staff were okay. The guy who was out server wasn't the most friendly, but wasn't horrible.
We came here based on the Google reviews and are glad we did!
Wow the waiter Mo was beyond amazing. You can tell he have been doing this for some time. I watch him literally take a table order, then switch to other table got their drinks and made sure to bring the powder sugar I asked for. I was expecting him to forget it and he got the drink refills for us. This place was so jammed packed they had people waiting outside to get in. Restaurants needs more waiters like him. The food was good, I'm surprised they actually gave real veggies that looked fresh not from a can like the previous place we ate at yesterday. The food is way too much of a portion, I couldn't eat all it and kinda felt bad so much was going to waste. You definitely get more than what you pay for here. The french toast was pretty, the coffee was hot and the bacon crispy. Too bad my kids never eat the leftovers.
Enjoyed some sandwiches for dinner.
Atmosphere was good, food was affordable, and in general it was an pleasant experience.
One point of substantial improvement could be the sweet potato fries, which were fine, but could have been amazing with a little more crunch.
Very glad to find this hidden gem in the heart of Salt Lake City. The staff was awesome, friendly and attentive. We tried the Wisconsin Cheese soup and it is the best I've ever had, and we lived in WI for 13 years! We both had burgers and they had that just right taste a diner burger is suppose to have. Got a piece of coconut cream pie to go, and oh my it was "terrific!" Can't say enough for the family friendly atmosphere we experienced there. Highly recommend!👍👍👍
Food was homey and delicious as always. Great place to meet up with friends and have a long, nice conversation over delicious food. Great service as well. I have tried about 5-6 thing on the menu so far and nothing has missed.
Dee’s is a staple local gem in SLC. If you’re a real local you’ve eaten at one of their stops at least once. It has the 70’s family diner vibe. The staff is definitely up to date with their uniforms, hip, and friendly. When it comes to food this place has the Classic American diner menu. They start off slamming with a really great variety of breakfast options. They serve breakfast all day. I normally like to go here when I’m craving some cheese fries or a good cheeseburger. Their chef salad is also good. The dessert menu has a great brownie sundae and their homemade pie is good too.
