Stopped here to grab a quick sandwich for our daughter who was in a cheerleading competition. Good food, good quantity... lots of mayo. The carhop service was nice but a little slow but worth it
This place is awesome! I really really like this place! Great burger joint food at great prices.
The only negative part of our experience there was with a group of unruly teenagers. Which is not the fault of the owners that teenagers sometimes are rude @$$#0!e$. But it would have been much appreciated if the staff could have told them to scale it back a notch. Just sayin'.
I come to woodys all the time, they have the best shakes in Utah. I love the fries and burgers here. I will forever and always love to eat at woodys.
Classic Drive-In food. Kid's cheese burger combo was huge. We loved the curly fries.
Quantity, not quality. First off, their dining room is a bit run-down and grimy, which is usually a deal breaker for me, I stress usually. Also, the juke box is broken but they refuse to put an "out of order" note on it, scamming customers out of their hard-earned quarters. BUT some of their menu items and ridiculously low prices make up for it. I can't get enough of their deep fried pickles and mushrooms, and they are so cheap. Burgers are just okay here, but about what you would expect for the price. Fries are home cut, but are always served too dry, which is a shame.
Service is not always fast, but is always friendly. It's a bunch of high school kids they have working here, but they seem to be well managed.
Overall, I'm on the fence with this place. But those sides of theirs put it into the like column for me. Only I'd recommend eating in your car.
Glad to be back!. I remember trying this place in High School and it seems that it wasn't that good. Maybe I was ordering a dollar burger or I caught them on a bad day.
Regardless we were drug there by a group of our daughter's friends and I was pleasently surprised.
Although they could use a little TLC with the furnishing and some extra elbow grease in the cleaning process the food was impressive with a charming decor.
I didn't dare try their biggest burger but think Man vs. Food size portion. What we did have was tasty and well prepared and the side items are interesting - fried pickles?
Anyway, this took be back to burger joints of my childhood that you just don't find much anymore.
Take a minute and check them out.
If you want a good burger and fries this is the place to go!!!
Cottonwood Classic. If you went to Cottonwood HS, you know Woody's. For at least 20 years it has catered to teenagers and families alike. The shakes and hamburgers appear to be very popular. For vegetarians, Woody's knows how to make a great gardenburger!
Absolutely love Woody’s!!
I get the lunch special a couple times a month- for $5 you can’t beat it!
Food is always flavorful, and portions are great and they have low prices!
Shakes are always amazing also.
You can dine in, go to the walk up window or go to a stall, either way you will have fast service.

Fun little old style drive in. Great atmosphere with fun juke box and decor.
Service was above bar.
Food was good. Burger was fresh, bun was soft. Onion rings were crispy and hot.
Definitely stop by this location if I’m in the area.
Food was soo good and has awesome prices. We got garlic burgers and bacon jalapenos fries. Those were spicy but in a good way
Such a great place!!! Spent 35$ on 5 means with burgers and fries and a treat for the kids! Spent less than at Wendy’s and loved it!!!
I came here a lot during high school. Sad to see the Jukebox is now "just for show" and all the vintage lunch boxes are gone. Food is pretty decent and I love the 50s car hop vibes just miss how it was 10 years ago. Our food was fast and fresh and the staff was friendly.
Unexpectedly great joint. It’s run down and kind of trashy, but the food is great and they served us with s smile, which is always appreciated.
We ordered a Woody Burger w/ Pastrami, a Mushroom Burger (with added jalapeños), and an order of fried zucchini.
The Woody Burger w/ Pastrami was delicious. The right amount of pastrami, plenty of condiments, and a well-cooked burger. Well done. Would order again.
The Mushroom Burger was good. Not great, but good (at least that what my wife described).
The Fried Zucchini was awesome. We both kept talking about it after we left. Probably our favorite part of the meal, because it was unexpected and pretty tasty. The best way to describe it is really yummy tempura veggies. Will definitely order it again.
What I disliked:
- Everything actually costs at least a dollar more than the list price on the menu. I’m okay with the price increase, but not with the surprise.
- While the service was friendly, it wasn’t very detailed. They forgot to bring us napkins, the ranch that comes with the fried zucchini, and the water cups we asked for. They happily fixed the error when we brought it up, for what it’s worth.
- The bathrooms are right in front of the car stalls (where you order). It’s a little awkward to watch people walk in and out, knowing they didn’t wash their hands (not the workers, of course).
Despite the things that could be improved, I’d still return because they were very kind, and the food was delicious.
This is a super great place to grab a burger. The food is absolutely delicious. The staff are very friendly and helpful. I got a bacon burger and it was amazing. The music a d atmosphere is great for an old style diner. I will definitely be returning next time im in town.
I got a double-blue cheese bacon burger. It was really good, one of the best burgers around. But for the fries, now that is another story, more like the worst fries around. The potato was not good and had no seasoning. But the cashier with the red hair was really nice, they have great customer service. But the lobby could have been cleaned more.
Do you long for a time when your dollar was worth something, prior to a senile old man being president? Then this is the place for you! For $5 you get a delicious 1/8th # burger, yummy fries and a refreshing beverage. If you have a hankering for a shake or malt but don't want a huge portion or have to sell a kidney they have a kids size which is the perfect amount at the right price. The staff is mostly teenagers which is cool, very respectful and perform their duties well. You simply can't beat Woody's!
Passing through friendly staff prices are reasonable burgers were good!
Fantastic little hidden gem - this 50’s style diner offer good quality food the way it used to be served. It offers dine-in service, takeout, and has car service - similar to this roller skate diners popular to burger joints in past times. I ate the double bacon cheeseburger and got it with their old fashioned style fries and a drink. The food is very classic of your old time, small town burger joints and is a popular destination for groups to gather and chat and reminisce. Highly recommend eating here.
Walked in ordered, my food came 1 minute later, best burger I've had in years, fried zucchini was fresh and very good. Also very cheap price for the food ordered my total was about 8 dollars for a double cheese burger, fried zucchini and a large drink.
