I’m torn on this rating a little bit. It should likely be 3 stars but I’m choosing 4 until I go again (this was delivered so just based on taste) The jalapeño popper was good and a little different, will get again. The stuffed bacon wrapped mushrooms were good as well. Some of the best house BBQ sauce I’ve ever had. I was surprised and it’s in the top 3 across this country. (I use sauce very sparingly I like the meat to stand on its own but this stuff is really thick, flavorful, and balanced) The chilli needs something- onions, jalapeños, idk something but it’s decent. (Also they didn’t give me jalapeños after suggesting to ask for them, lol). And the ribs were sadly the biggest let down. I will say they give you what they promise they said 3-4 lbs and I got exactly 3.05 lbs but idk if they were off today but there’s no smoke, the texture is more roasted and there just isn’t much flavor whatsoever…. paired with the BBQ sauce it’s fine but it could be so much more. I’m going to try it again some time but I’ll definitely pass on the ribs.

If you don't like this BBQ, then just never eat BBQ again bc your taste buds are broken. As a southerner, it's been hard to find good BBQ out here. In fact, I've had the worst BBQ of my life here. I'm so grateful to 8lb 6oz sweet baby Jesus for this place to exist because I need my fix. They got it down to a science and it's absolutely delicious. Some of the sides were alright but DANG that's some good BBQ.

Hands down the best BBQ in SLC. The cutest restaurant running couple ever and legit can't beat the vibes or food. Close to Downtown but also close to both freeways! Definitely a must stop for lunch or anytime you need to feed a group dinner.

If you are looking for real Texas BBQ in the SLC area then you have found the place. Their bbq is amazing, no sauce required kind of meats but of course they offer it. I had the brisket, ribs and sausage platter with slaw and beans and let me tell ya, AMAZING! I look forward to trying this place out again because they know what they are doing!

Best BBQ outside of Texas. Extremely friendly owner and great little atmosphere. Highly recommend the brisket and pulled pork! Coleslaw wasn't too tangy or too sweet and the mac was nice and cheesy.

I love this place! Easily the best barbeque in town. Yesterday (10/5/2017) was the absolute best yet!! (apparently they were also smoking jerky, so extra smoke. I recently started working over by the 6th south off ramp, and have been eating lunch there once a week ever since. I usually get the rib plate, which is exactly the right size and comes with two sides. Rib plate is 10 bucks, half chicken is like 8, and they come with 2 sides. I almost always get cole slaw and have been working my way through the others -pinto beans are ranking high with me. Earlier in the day seems better better to me. Thursdays are the day if you want pork ribs. I got a tour of the custom smoker. The restaraunt itself is kind of a hole-in-the-wall, picnic tables and weird metal sculptures, but I LOVE this place!

Outstanding BBQ! I ordered the chopped barbecue beef sandwich. Soft bun, quality meat, amazing smoky flavor. Seriously so good! The red building is an old historical butcher shop built in late 1800’s! Soooo cool! Highly recommended

You CANNOT find better BBQ in this city. The owner and operator is on site talking to the customers and making everyone feel at home. He gave us a CD of him and his pitmaster playing country music. Man, it just doesn't get any more authentic than this. You will love the food, the atmosphere, and the service. Unmatched and without equal. Don't miss this place!!

Texas style, hole-in-the-wall BBQ. Best on Thursday and Friday after they pull their briskets at 10am. Owner and workers were friendly and the food was smoked to perfection with salt, pepper, and oak. It’s not fancy—BBQ shouldn’t be fancy—and, in my opinion, it’s the best in the state.

Nice bbq restaurant . I had beef ribs which hard to find in the salt Lake. The prices were very reasonable, and the quality is good too. I paid only $12 for to pieces of ribs. I would definitely come back and try brisket and Mac and cheese. They also sell other local stuff in the side.

Family owned small business. They had one of the best bbq meat i have tasted from a long time from anywhere in US. Also, just like don't judge a book by it's cover, don't judge this restaurant by its outer look just visit in and see for your self...

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️I give the food five stars! I ordered the beef sandwich with chips, and there was a lot of meat in my sandwich! It's a mom and pop shop , so the staff is super friendly and the food is delicious! You definitely get bang for your buck at this barbecue restaurant. Definitely a favorite for me!

Best BBQ in Salt Lake City. I highly recommend checking out Kaisers. It was a last minute decision to stop by and try them out but I was blown away by the quality of the food and the friendliness of those I interacted with. The food is VERY reasonably priced and a single plate will last me for two meals. It is also worth mentioning that it is easy to reach Kaisers from the trax line.

I'm on a hunt for some true Texas Style BBQ, and Kaiser scratched my itch! Good smoke flavor, great side selection, and reasonable prices for portion size. Sauce is wonderful; definitely buy yourself a bottle. Collard Greens and Mac and Cheese were the highlights of our meal. Peach Cobbler with Ice Cream was a great way to end our stay. Bought some barbacoa to take home and eat later; if it's everything I've been looking for in the Utah area, my wallet will be in trouble. My only slight complaints were the Cornbread was slightly overcooked, and the meats were a bit on the dry side. Nothing a bit of sauce, or butter and honey, could fix. I will definitely be coming back in the future. Owners are very sweet and welcoming, and want to make sure their customers are happy and taken care of! Support your local business, and if you want that great Texas Smoked Flavor, stop by Kaiser!
