I got the chicken parmigiana and the fries. The fries were very flavorful but a small amount. The sub was initially fantastic and I was super excited about it but then I hit some super spicy bits that ruined the rest of it for me. I will probably try more of their sandwiches in the future but definitely try something else if you are also spice averse.
Perhaps one of the best sub shops in SLC. The bread was surprisingly good, and all the rest of the ingredients were fresh too. The only downside is parking down the block. Bathroom was clean and shop appears ADA accessable
I found this place after someone posted on instagram to try. It was fantastic for me! I had the Philly which was huge as I chose the 10 inch, it was loaded with meat and flavorful. My daughter had the veggie burger and that was a miss for sure, not much veggie burger and a ton of onions. Not very flavorful! The fries with sauce were super and the poppers were great but the price for 3 was high since you could tell they were a frozen brand and fried, I would still order them each time though. BONNIE makes this place grand!!!!! She was kind, helpful, courteous to all her patrons as we ate inside the establishment. I would hire her in a heartbeat, she is that super :) It seems most people grab their subs to go, that is why the 3 stars as its not an active place BUT it was clean and wonderful! I drove 45 minutes to this place from the south and I will do again....... It was fantastic!!!! Bonnie though, WOW her energy rules!

Had a fantastic experience at this sub shop! Bonnie was super cool and really attentive, making the visit special. It's refreshing to find a sandwich place with such character. Will definitely be back!
What a great sandwich shop. On a short visit to SLC for a wedding, we had the good fortune of finding this place. My italian sub was terrific andy my husband loved his hot breaded fish sub.
Super loved my sandwich from here. Stacy and I drove past it, I hadn't ever seen it before we parked around the corner and walked in. The service was great, and the steak sandwich was wonderful, not some old dried out meat. This was moist and full of flavor top sandwich places in town. Forget the dives, diners, and drive in place. This place tops it. The cherry on top they have Chicago Dogs!! Real ones with the peppers and relish 🤩. Just go and give it a try.
Just stopped in for a quick bite. Incredible subs!! Bread had the perfect Italian sub texture and flavor. Plenty of meat and cheese, and just the right amount of dressing and toppings. Cant wait to go back!!
Don’t be fooled by the name change (from Grinder’s 13), some of the best sandwiches in the whole state are served here. It’s a funky cool place with great food.
SANDWICHES AND FRIES ALWAYS AMAZING. I WOULD TRY THEIR SPICY FRY SAUCE IF YOU HAVE NOT IT IS AMAZING! THE STAFF IS SO AMAZING AND FRIENDLY. THEY HAVE THE GRINDERS SUBS JUST DIFFERENT NAMES. I JUST LOVE THE FOOD HERE COLD AND HOT SUBS.
AMAZING SANDWICH!!! We used to go to Grinders in West Valley and after they shut down we didn’t know where to go. Went here and it is way better actually!! Such good food and great service! 10/10

Gaetano’s Sub shop makes a good sandwich. I got a philly steak sandwich and it had a lot of black pepper which I actually really liked a lot. It’s just not for everyone. Parking is bad. It has a couple of parking slots out front which where taken so I had to park in the neighborhood behind the restaurant.

Locally sourced fresh bread and some of the best meats money can buy. We got the hot philly cheesesteak and the cold italian meats. The wife claimed that this was the best philly she has ever had in her life. Needless to say we will be back. Thank you guys!!!
I love their Subs and fries. This is not a franchise sandwich shop. You meet the owner and his staff. If he wouldn't eat it. He won't serve it. Parking is hit or miss..but worth it.
I had a simple Italian Sub, it was fantastic. The guys there were kind and you could tell they cared when I told them how good it was. I look forward to trying the rest of the menu!
This is one of my standard lunch go to joints. I suggest the Texas Deluxe or as I like to call it the Utah deluxe as it is a pastrami burger in a sub after all. I also enjoy the Philly and who doesn't like a good Ham and cheese! Best thing of all is it is one of the only sub/sandwich places that also serves fries! Huge plus in my book. Not to mention the owner is friendly and this has been a Utah establishment for years and I believe with the service they have it will be there for a lot longer!
I just started working near by and they are going to take all my money. The amount of meat they put on the Sandy is double the competition. Be sure to get plenty of napkins. I ordered the Gaetano. A 6 inch would be plenty but I ordered the 10 inch because it’s just a couple bucks more
