Salazar's Mexican Cafe - Salt Lake City - Photo album

I have driven past this place a hundred times and I finally stopped in. It was totally worth it! The owners have been here for over 40 years with their perfected New Mexican recipes. We got the super burrito and chile verde enchilada plate. The rice and beans have good flavor, the verde had the righ
This is a mom and pop place and the food is light unlike La Frontera. You can taste the wholesome goodness that has been handed down for generations. YUMMY!
Service with a smile! I stopped by for lunch while passing by on my bike. Their super burrito is grande. The owner suggested their chili verde and it was delicious! I had to finish it all because no place to put a to-go container on my bike. I was stuffed and very satisfied. I recommend!!
Dont expect the most fancy place or the best service ever , but the food , which is TexMex , not real Mexican , is why I come here for. This is a kind of small cafe , not with many tables (maybe 7 or 8) located on a corner of 900 E and 3300 S in Salt Lake City , close to the new Krishna Temple.Enchi
Very friendly staff. I had a chicken enchilada and beans. Both were great. Ida asked me if it was my first time here and gave me free chips and salsa (which is free at some places anyway but the homemade salsa is worth paying for). Highly recommend.
This place is so good! Think rancheritos but high quality, fresh ingredients and local! The people who run it are also very nice. :)
Pretty good carne asada burrito I had and decently priced. It’s authentic and mom and pop owned small restaurant. With covid it’s outdoors only. But I’d go back and order again.
Wow! The chili verde is so yummy I want to buy a bucket of it to smother over anything and everything I eat from now on. We have been here 4 times now trying out different meals and every bite has been delicious. We called in a pickup order - see pics, and within 15 minutes it was on our table.
This was my go to place for chili verde before I became a vegetarian. The owner is super friendly🙂
This place is absolutely amazing! My friends and I love coming here. Great location for those who live/work nearby, high-quality food, and the owners are wonderful! There is a reason this place has been around 41 years. Support local business and eat at Salazar’s, 10/10 would recommend!
Delicious! I love their enchilada sauce. The chile rellenos were so so good.
We absolutely loved our experience at Salazar’s! The owners are such friendly people that put their heart and soul into the food. It was delicious. The chef actually came out and checked on us after we received our food to ensure that we were enjoying it. They had the biggest smiles, too. I will def
The food here is amazing! You get a lot of food for the price, the dining area is adorable and they’re fairly quick to bring out meals considering it’s just two people on staff. The huevos rancheros are a must try, so good!
My absolute favorite Mexican restaurant in Salt Lake. I work 5 minutes away and come in for lunch at least once a week. Service is always very efficient, and employees are so kind to customers. You will not find better beans and enchiladas in the area. If I could give it more than 5 stars I would.
The place is getting left behind as it is old no frills and I'm sure suffered a lot through covid. Don't expect flashy modern architecture it is a hole in the wall mom and pop struggling place. That said my food was delicious and satisfying. Salsa and rice also was flavorful, Taco was the best p
