Elegant and always welcoming! James Brown, the manager is wonderful as is all the waitstaff. Food is delicious and served with big portions. You feel like royalty when you are here! Cannot wait until the breakfast brunch and breakfast buffet comes back(Covid)….the best on the Riverwalk!! Bloody Mary and Mimosas are delicious and have large shots in them… Buenos dias!!!

Great service. The morning breakfast buffet is fantastic - especially the French toast. Our waiter also very kindly sent us off with to go cups of coffee.

We came here 10 years ago and loved it. I was afraid it wouldn’t live up to the memory, but it completely did! The service was impeccable, filet mignon (split in the pic) was like butter, and salads were delicious. They even had a mixed drink menu that explained the pallets of all the drinks. Loved it.

I don't give a lot of 5 star reviews but this Sunday brunch is my JAM! The staff are super friendly - they take good care of you. The spread is amazing and the views are just awesome. Prime rib, shrimp, caviar, charcuterie, cheese, smoked salmon, omelets to order, fried chicken, waffles, French toast, the works. Reserve in advance and ask for a table by the windows if there's only a couple of you. The best part is that it's affordable. Less than $50. Oh btw, comes with 3 glasses of champagne..3! Can't beat it - this is a gem.

Las Canarias is a restaurant within the Omni Hotel on College Street. It is just behind the Majestic Theater in downtown San Antonio. It is my first time to this place for their Sunday Brunch Buffet. I do Synday brunches alot and this place ranks high up there. A lot of food choices but not too much it gets overwhelimg. Aside from the brunch staples of roast turkey, prime rib, French toast, bacon and sausages, seafood bar of fresh oysters shrimp, smoked salmon....well you get the idea they have other food choices that vary from week to week. This week they had meatballs in curry, samosas and potatoes, chicken and peas, vegetable stews. Oh did I mention they have a bananas foster bar? Mimosas are limited to three glasses. I never usually have more than 2 or 3 so this is fine with me. Staff are very attentive and helpful. Special thanks or "grazie" to Mario. Highly recommended. Price is reasonable for what you get. Will definitely come back here.

Beautiful location and outside area was amazing. Portions small and the margarita was on the expensive side $16 (wow) but I will say was the best ones I've had. And I've had a lot. *Picture is a split salad" the power salad. Vegan and Gluten free

BEST BRUNCH BUFFET IN ALL OF TEXAS! This buffet is worth the cost and then some. Along with bottomless mimosas, their brunch buffet includes high quality food, from fresh oysters and caviar, to melt in your mouth prime rib. And don't get me started on the desserts! The bananas foster station alone should do all the selling, but there's soooo much more! Waiters are attentive and accommodating and the atmosphere is excellent. Such a great place to celebrate any occasion or just to feel like royalty!

Las Canarias has to be one of the most exquisite Mexican dining experiences near the river walk. A superb location with the perfect outdoor terrace overlooking the river. The food is prepared and served to perfection. The menu is not overcrowded but making a choice is not easy as is all looked so good. The staff were exceptionally helpful in choosing. The duck special, venison and fish were all divine!

We came here for breakfast since we were staying at the Omni Hotel. This spot is seriously SO good and perfect location! Grab a seat on the patio to people and boat watch. So relaxing, great service, and amazing food! I highly recommend the bread pudding French toast.

Breakfast here was absolutely incredible. My wife claims it's the best omelette and french toast (creme brulee on the side) she's ever had. I had the San Antonio breakfast (pictured) which was equally amazing.

I love this place and can’t wait for it to reopen! Great Venison steak, not a huge fan of the duck myself. Incredible dessert and hospitality that brings the meal together.

Las Canarias dining is one for the books. The service was pristine, the food impeccable. Family and I had filet mignon, medium rare melts in you mouth with a wine sauce that elevates the flavor and tenderness. The scallops were succulent but crispy on the outside just like a scallop should be cooked. Everything was of the most prestigious quality, I would highly recommend this to anyone who us looking for an upper class experience.

Came here for Valentine’s Day, great decision. Had the fillet minion, with a Ceasar salad. The sides were a bit peculiar, none-the-less very enjoyable. Steak was perfect. Service was great. Nice place, really personal and quiet.

Absolutely one of the best restaurants in San Antonio at the River Walk. The grouper was outstanding and the scallops were some of the best I've ever tasted.

Yummy food, good desserts, ask for an omelette and it would be made at the moment, your decision to have champagne Straight or a mimosa as you eat all that good food that their brunch buffet offers.
