Rudy's Barbecue - San Antonio - Photo album

Such a pleasure to be able to come to the original Rudy’s bbq! We absolutely love this restaurant. The cream corn and potato salad was delicious. And of course the bbq is always consistently good. Servers are great. Come visit if you have the chance!
I always feel well protected, at ease, and love the vibes at every visit I attend here! I guess because it reminds me so much of home. I have been coming here since I lived here for the first time in 2003-2005 and every year on summer break while living in New Jersey. Not one visit here I would give
I am a huge fan of Rudy’s. My wife and I were in the area and we ended up visiting this location not knowing it was the original! This honestly made everything much better. The atmosphere felt right and is something you would expect at the original location. The food was amazing and I strongly reco
Correction ! I appologize. I try and make notes when reviewing and I got two places mixed up! Rudy's is the bomb! I love this place. The food is always fantastic the price is reasonable and there is a smile on every face, staff and guests as well. So you know right away that they are doing it right.
Cutest barbecue restaurant. Very cozy. Staff very friendly.
Came here on a whim and they have excellent food. Was greeted with a sample of their creamed corn which was excellent. Ordering was a bit odd. Sides first then main meats. Just make sure you pay attention to the person carving. Ended up with 1/4 of brisket, pork ribs and a side of pinto beans. All o
Some very good BBQ in an area where BBQ is important. Taste wise, the turkey, sausage, cream corn etc. are very good but the chopped is special. The use beef and chicken and turkey and pork - everything in their chopped with a great sauce. Very good. The brisket is very flavorful but inconsisten
After 4 hours at the San Antonio Rodeo and wanting some real food we went here (recommended by our shuttle bus driver). FANTASTIC! Friendly people, COLD Beer, HOT smoked Brisket so soft you could cut it with a plastic knife, EXCELLENT sausage. Add Corn in a white cream sauce, potato salad and Coles
It was a good experience especially for my guest experiencing the Texas BBQ for the first time. We kinda had a little bit of everything! Although I must say, 1/2 of the brisket was tender and the other half was dry! The sauce was on point. Turkey juicy and tender, pork ribs a bit on the dry side b
THE BEST TEXAS BBQ! By far the best, most juicy, the most delicious brisket we have had. Everything has been kept original including the menu. The staff is great, easy to order, and quick to eat.
I enjoyed visiting this iconic bbq restaurant and enjoyed the food much more. The beef brisket was amazing and the staff were friendly. Will come back if visiting Texas again
Good food. The brisket was delicious. A little over done for my liking but the flavor was nice. Super friendly people.
Always fun to eat at Rudy's. Love the brisket and the smoked turkey was great as well. The Rudy's sauce is great, though I didn't much care for the Doc's not so hot sauce. I think they used to call it the Sissy Sauce. Fun atmosphere and good service.
Overall, it was very good. It doesn’t stack up to my favorite spot (Corkskrew) so I couldn’t give it a 5 star. The lady that helped us was super nice and the food came out pretty quick. The sausage was a little dry and the bread might have been sitting out for too long. But, not super essential fo
Had some great brisket here. There was a nice outdoor area for dining and ordering was easy. Sanitizer was available, but beyond that, it was pretty laid back. Again, the food was great. The potato salad was awesome and the atmosphere was acceptable.
Love. Love. Love. The brisket. The beans. The cream corn. The bbq sauce. Friendly service. Delightfully authentic setting. Love the way they honour those to serve. Pro tip: Come hungry.
This place has some awesome barbecue! The sausage, brisket, and baby back ribs are all a must have. I am a sauce guy, and while I don't love their barbecue sauce it goes perfectly with their meat. They give you slices of bread to go with your meat, and it's reasonably priced for the amount of food t
