Our @alphachiomegahq Alumni Chapter had our early holiday dinner tonight @bourbonstreetseafood on 1604 and Redland. They were running short staffed with Faraz as the bartender and our server. Dad had Lemonade. Since Dad likes clam chowder, I thought to have him try the Louisiana version, and he liked it. I had a few bites, and it was smoky with bacon. I had a side salad with Ranch. Dad and I shared the Mahi Mahi New Orleans, which had some crab meat and crawfish with white wine lemon sauce. Pictured is the half portion since Faraz had them nicely split the servings. It was a nice gathering, and some brought items to donate to The Battered Women's Shelter.

I came here for dinner while my family from out of town visited. We ordered trio oysters and calamari to start which were amazing. I also had a cup of Louisiana Clam Chowder...that had a lot of clam! Our group ordered Mississippi Catfish, Red Fish Diablo, Mahi Mahi New Orleans, Shrimp Brochette. Everyone really enjoyed their meal. The seafood was very fresh and had so much flavor. Everything on the menu did not disappoint. Service was great.

Bourbon Street Seafood Kitchen is a fine dining, high-end cuisine experience for food lovers of all ages. It's one of our favorites in San Antonio and we usually bring family here when they come to town. Bourbon Street has a robust menu of Cajun/spicier seafood, pastas, and wines. The customer service is top notch. I usually have to ask the servers several times to refill my water glass throughout my dinners, but I didn't have to wait at all here; the server was on it. We were treated with respect, kindness, and our food came out quickly after ordering. The portions sizes are LARGE and worth the cost; you'll likely have a to-go box to take home. The ambiance is peaceful and not so loud, like other noisy restaurants. Faraz, the manager, gets it--he runs the establishment with world-class hospitality and understands how to accommodate guests/customers. Have been several times and we will be back! Recommend!

Food was tasty. Service was not so good. Though we had reservations, our table was not ready. Waiter was inattentive. We had to ask several times for things. They were decent at keeping the waters filled. But the food is excellent, with a variety of (not all fried) seafood dishes and Cajun dishes, and Excellent gumbo. Scallops cooked to perfection. Fish and crab were very fresh. Creme brulee was off, though. It had the consistency of not-quite-c99ked-through egg whites

Bourbon Street Seafood Kitchen is the #1 restaurant for anyone from Louisiana who wants a meal that tastes like back home…. Bet me! My first time eating at this location in 8 years, and I must say that I am beyond satisfied. The shrimp and grits were packed with seasoning and it was absolutely delicious to say the least. I’m not a big fan of catfish but I ate it only because it was prepared here. I can’t wait to eat here again. Thank you!

Amazing service! It's been a long time since we experienced this level of service. Started with 2 small bread rolls, the appetizer: oysters on half shell- Good. Beet salad presented well, just a bit sweet. Beets were canned/jarred yet tasty. Balsamic dressing added to sweetness yet just the right amount. Combo Gumbo is delicious, must try for gumbo lovers! Flavors were well balanced with exception of the sweetness in salad. Finale: bread pudding dessert was well rounded, balanced. Just enough sweet to satisfy the dessert lovers like us. The portions were all balanced and satisfying. Overall, I'd add this to my list of dining out favorites.

They have recently lost Jeremy. The ever present Waiter and Bartender. He was one of the best attendees I have ever had. He will be missed..new staff have heard me sing his praise. The traditional shrimp cocktail is consistently good. The shrimp is well kept and rotated out if aged. I respect this.

Easily one of my favorite restaurants and glad I chose it for my birthday meal this year. Met loved ones for a very early dinner on a Saturday afternoon to beat the busier evening dining guests. The staff was friendly and attentive from the moment we stepped in until we were back out the door. Waiter took great care of us, was very pleasant and even had us laughing. The noise and environment was great. Able to casually chat with one another and not crammedback to back with your table neighbors. For me it was just a touch too dim inside, especially for 3p, completely personal preference and obviously not a reason to not go. The bar has a few screens of sports to catch a glimpse of updates and games and they definitely don't distract or interfere with either conversation or consuming the food; no large screens and no wall with all the games going. The food was delicious as always; I've never had anything less than amazing at this place. Everyone at the table felt the same and we all had something different. If you're able to afford the slightly higher costs (it is sea food and the food is more than worth the extra cost) than I highly recommend this restaurant.

First time here this evening. I had the fried alligator for an appetizer and the shrimp and grits as my entree. Both very generous servings and both very delicious dishes!! Service was excellent. I will definitely be returning here!!

Had Valentine's dinner tonight and it was delicious. We had the escargot, two different kinds of fish, cocktails and dessert and everything was amazing! It was our first time at this restaurant but it definitely won't be the last. Highly recommend!

Wonderful experience once again! The service and food was exceptional. Mr Ali our waiter provided the best service and recommendations. We all agreed that we would be back and here I am just three days later. Treating myself to a spectacular lunch with dessert. This is one bill that well worth every dollar spent. I fully recommend five star.

When we first got there, the host was a little busy, so we signed ourselves in...he was a really cool and nice guy,so it wasn’t big deal. When our waiter was seating us, he was kind of rushing us, didn’t show us our table, but placed our silverware and napkins on, what we assumed to be our table, and left. He then went and got another family, in the same rushing speed, caught himself this time, slowed down and waited for them to catch up, then showed them to their table. After that, he was very courteous and very friendly. The food was good, but the leftovers were amazing! I guess the food (Mississippi Catfish) had time to absorb the flavors or something, but it was much better the next day. My sister’s dish (Shrimp and Grits), however, was crazy good from the start. The appetizer, Oyster Trio, was really good as wall. In all, I would eat there again...hopefully we won’t feel rushed next time, but as I said, he did get better after that.

We've eaten here many times and I've never had a bad meal or bad service. My group of work colleagues even picked this for a going away party once. The lunch specials last until 3pm which is longer than most places. I think they even have the lunch specials on Sundays. The green chimichurri sauce on the table with bread is addictive. We usually have a server standing by the wall just waiting for us to need anything at all at the nod of the head. They are that attentive. White tablecloths give a somewhat upscale feel.

Wow... server was fantastic and on point. So many appetizing selections it was hard to just pick one!! Bourbon street is a great place for small events as well with a private area. My seafood pasta was to die for.. It was so flavorful and a large serving (for later!) Definitely come back!!

We pass this restaurant all the times while taking our son to D1 training across the street. We finally had the chance to swing by for a late night dinner 🥘 The restaurant wasn’t packed. We were seated quickly and served right away. The waiter came by throughout our dinner multiple times which was great. Unfortunately a lot of restaurants and service isn’t up to par anymore. The food was enjoyable and delicious. Can’t wait to swing by again for either lunch or dinner. Highly recommend Bourbon Street.

Bourbon Street is my favorite Cajun/seafood place in all of San Antonio. The Shrimp Bourbon St dish is the best on the menu! The lemon garlic sauce and dirty rice truly makes this dish amazing bite after bite. I cannot recommend this place enough!
