As far as Tex-Mex places I've visited, this is one of the best. Loved the location and the building vibes, our waitress Lisa was very nice and provided an excellent customer service. Food had a great taste and the portions were plenty (two people can eat from one plate). I'm not giving 5 stars due t
Met the sweetest and most attentive server-Gem. She really deserves an additional 6th gold star if it was available.
Always love their light and thin corn tortilla chips. Add the jalapeño-ranch dressing dip and salsa for a perfect beginning. Tried the chicken enchiladas with their Hatch chile gree
Had two great dinners here in June 2023. The food is fresh, the staff is perfect, and the atmosphere is fun and authentic. I remember eating at the original Chuy's in Austin way before they franchised. They did well at recreating that same whimsical atmosphere.
Great option for Tex-Mex. I've been coming to this location for years and I absolutely love the design of the building add the Acapulco style with thatched hut roofs. The interior has a super cool design with metal sculpture palm trees everywhere throughout the interior.
The food is typical Tex-Mex
I had heard the chatter about this place and I can see why. The food was very good. The salsa, chips and creamy jalapeño appetizers were fantastic! The queso is good but different than I expected. I had a burrito and it was huge, very filling and delicious! My kiddo enjoyed his quesadilla, rice
Chuy's is a Tex-Mex staple that continues to provide a consistent experience no matter where you eat. Tip on the salads, they do offer a smaller size, because the std salad is huge. And of course, they are famous for their green sauce.
This place is usually a good choice, tonight the service was amazing. The food was on point and the music was excellent.
I've had bad experiences at a different Chuy's in the past, but this has changed my mind. Good food. I'm picky about Mexican food, so 4 stars is pretty good for me.
Didn't like the salsa at all - only spice, no flavor, and way too much salt. The chips were ok, but too much salt as well.
Had the Elvi
I'm so happy that they are making the pico de gallo as they used to. They switched it a while back more sweet, which was not good.. the pico is back.. yay! I had my chuychanga with deluxe tomatillo, and it was great. Service was a little slow, but the restaurant was very busy; they might need mor
Plates come out really hot so the food stays warmer longer. Really enjoyed the chicken enchiladas
Went for a quick light dinner and a Mango margarita!! Left with satisfaction, a full belly and leftovers!!! Always a great place to get a delicious meal. They need to redesign the inside decor though. Not sure what Elvis and the 50's has to do with Mexican food but I digress!
It is my first visit to San Antonio with my son in law and all family. After visited river front we all are hungry
We went to this Chuy’s restaurants. I found friendly staff, prompt service and delicious food in all respects.
I appreciate to a good management.
We always look forward to going to Chuy's when we go to San Antonio! The one on I10 was closed due to a water pipe issue and the Manger gave us a free queso card! We sure did drive to this one and we were NOT disappointed! If you have not tried the Deluxe chicken with the tomatillo sauce enchiladas
Food was decent, the waitstaff on the other hand was amazing. Drinks always topped off and always checking in. Atmosphere was nice.
It has been since pre-pandemic shut down since I have been into Chuy’s. Let me just say it was nice to be back. I love the layout of this location, a campy retro industrial chic. My Mexi Cobb salad was loaded. Check out the pics. Fresh salsa, great jalapeño ranch and ample amounts of chicken and
Came here for the first time today, June 9th.
The food was pretty good, but we waited longer than expected. Others that were seated way after us got their food just minutes after we did. The food temperature should have been warmer. I think it was near a warming light, but not close enough. Flavor
Had some chicken flautas, and they were good. They hardly put any guacamole, though. I do enjoy their tortillas. Prices are still good, but the menu is still small. Miss the chile rellenos
