Great atmosphere in the restaurant. The wait staff was top notch as well. Very knowledgeable about the menu. The 16oz Ribeye was to die for and might of been one of the best steaks I have ever had

Wonderful service and food. The valet service that is a part of the Hyatt Hotel is lacking though. Very rude and distracted while both arriving and departing. But the Ruth Chris’ Steakhouse restaurant downstairs was amazing. I had their Cosmo, lamb chops, mashed potatoes, and calamari and it was all amazing. I recommend going during their happy hour between 2:30-6 I think. Plus, it is right off of the river walk so you can easily walk the river from there. Valet prices range from 20-39 dollars depending on how long you want to stay.
It was my first time & it won't be my last. We were treated like royalty after Alamo City Comic Con! The steak was decadent and on point, VIP customer service, & the sides were to die for. Worth every penny!
The food was phenomenal, our server Mary was gracious and efficient. My only critique would be enforcement of the dress code. We were very conscious of dressing “business casual “ and I saw two men wearing cargo shorts and tennis shoes and one woman in shorts and flip flops. If there’s going be a dress code posted, it should be enforced.
My party and I had an excellent experience at my birthday dinner. Carrie was pleasant and helpful with my reservations. They upgraded me to a private room at no cost because it was a busy night, the reservation was right on time, and our server Jorge was awesome and very accommodating. The food was delicious, the champagne toast was on time, and Jorge served us free dessert to share for my birthday! The valet at Grand Hyatt was professional and cared for my vehicle as always, unlike The Palm. It was enjoyable and I’ll have a great memory of my 40th. 🎂🥂 I celebrated here last year too, and I will definitely be back again.
We had a great meal, as usual! Being the first Friday in Lent I was worried about what I would find to eat but had the seared tuna and it was excellent! Loved the sauce that came with it and the veggies underneath! We live very close to the Ruth’s at Eilan but will make the drive to the Riverwalk one because the food and service are far better!
Great place for Happy Hour at the Riverwalk. Gotta love their $8 drinks and selection of food. We love the burger and steak sandwich! Very filling
I expect nothing but the best from Ruth Chris. Delivered with the best service from Sara! Can't wait to come back and treat myself again!

Jarvis was absolutely amazing!!
We learned the history of the restaurant and had an amazing date night. Jarvis even took our photo in front of the Christmas tree.
Great food and even more fantastic service. Jarvis, Hailey and Agustin made our experience here extraordinary. The lobster appetizer was a treat, the garlic crusted steaks were cooked to perfection and the sides were all delicious. The meal was the high point of our tour of the Mission state parks in San Antonio.

We celebrated a birthday among a party of six, with our reservations yielding no wait when we arrived and were instantly seated. Our party was welcomed heartily, and we ordered wine and cocktails to start. Appetizers included the Osso Bucco Ravioli, which stood out among our orders, and we hopped into salads, which were fresh and the blue cheese on my wedge quite flavorful. The main course arrived soon after that, and my 16oz ribeye was cooked to perfection, with the medium rare slab of beef yielding incredible flavor in every juicy bite. I accompanied mine with a Béarnaise sauce that was delightful. Dessert arrived, with a cheesecake adorned with a “Happy Birthday” message and the chocolate cheesecake providing our group with the necessary sweet notes to finish our grand meal.
Of course, the service for our dinner was exceptional, with our waitress providing attentive service without intruding on our lively conversations. Our leisurely meal lasted a few hours and never felt rushed or unwelcome. We immensely enjoyed our birthday meal at this restaurant and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a special place for a special dinner.
So amazing definitely the best steak and lobster tail I've eaten in a long time. I can honestly say it was DEFINITELY worth the money. An shout out to our waiter Ernesto he just made our first experience much more better, and Ernesto if you read this keep up the amazing job you are doing.
Didn't a night at the Grand Hyatt last week and decided to visit Ruth's Chris steakhouse. Had a wonderful meal with Israel as our server. My wife was celebrating and ordered the petite filet and ate every bite. Cooked to perfection for her and really delicious. I ordered the blackened snapper which was amazing, perfectly cooked and steaming hot from the first bite to the last bite. My son had the kids sliders and devoured them.
Can't wait to return in our next trip to San Antonio

Great food and great service! Jarvis Jesus was incredibly attentive with great attention to detail. He was very personable and made this a really great experience for us! The next time we come back, I hope we have him as a server again!
My Fiancé and I came for a last minute dinner. Jarvis was a great server, he made us feel welcomed and was super attentive! He had great suggestions and was super friendly and helpful. We ended up ordering the tomahawk steak and lobster Mac and cheese. Yes it was on the more pricey side but definitely worth every bite and when do you ever go out to a nice fancy dinner. Would definitely come back and ask for Jarvis again. Also all the server assistants were super helpful and friendly as well.
I’ve been to a few Ruth Chris restaurants over the years. Never impressed; just ok. My son wanted to try this one; as we stayed in the Motel. Surprisingly excelled way beyond my expectations, we came another night! 2nd night was just as good. Our waiter Jarvis did go a little above and beyond our 2nd night. Worth my time to write a 5 star review!

We had a reservation outside on the evening of Dia De Los Muertos parade booked way in advance and Almost didn’t get honored the reservation- but manager came in Clutch to save the day!!! Waiter forgot a few things but made up for it in charm and the Cowboy Steak was on point Delish. Would skip the spinach next time and get Just Mac n Cheese w/Lobster
I'm a bit of a foodie, and I have to rate this in my top 5 restaurants I have eaten at. The food is excellent but a bit pricey for what you get. Service is top notch, the restaurant is clean and the atmosphere is relaxing. The Creme Brule is a must for desert.
