This place is amazing!!! The entire staff works the floor and they make sure you never have an empty drink and always have everything you need. The spring rolls and calarmi were great appetizers to start with. My coworkers and I shared the Poached spicy fish, the kung poa chicken, and the crispy spicy chicken with steamed rice. Everything was amazing!!! I can't wait to go back!

I was invited to dine at this place last night. And I will tell you that this is the best Chinese food I have had in my entire life! I raved about this place to a friend on my drive home. Absolutely looking forward to visiting this place very soon.

Food was outstanding! From what we ordered, cumin lamb was our favorite. The fish soup was a hit with the whole table, even our four children. Hubby loved the spiciness of the poached beef, I think that's it. Kids devoured the lo mein and orange chicken. I can't wait to try more of the menu in the future. Some items require advance notice. This is our new go-to. Delicious, flavorful food! The small restaurant was quite packed on Christmas, but we managed to get a table. I'd suggest reservations on holidays. Edit to add: I can't believe I forgot about the green beans, especially since I'm stuffing my face with the leftover ones. So very good!

I went with a group of 11 so I got to try out a lot of dishes. They serve dishes "family style" so be prepared to share or take some home. The green beans were great, the fried pork dumplings were very good, as was the chicken lo mein. The cold noodles were a bit spicy but quite tasty. The duck was pretty fatty but the meat tasted good. My favorite was the twice cooked pork. It wasn't too spicy and it had very good flavors. Our server was friendly, funny, and helpful. Even though we had a large party - they allowed us to split up the bill. Great service and delicious food. I will definitely return.

Y'all. I've lived in San Antonio for about 3 weeks and have eaten here no less than 5 times. Not even ashamed. That spicy vegetable fried rice is to die for. Don't even get me started on the green beans.

Easily the best Chinese food I've ever eaten. Take friends, order all the things, and eat family style. I've tried the garlicky cold noodles, green beans, crispy spicy savory chicken (multiple times), lamb with scallions (multiple times), and spicy savory tofu--all outstanding.

Tried this place one time awhile back outta curiosity and it was REALLY good and the staff was cool asf. Glad to have a place in SA less than 15 mins away from me like this. Those other "Fake" (That's what I call em' anyways) Chinese places suck compared to this place and this is just from eating one single plate here lol. The flavors kinda left their "mark" on me, so unique. Definitely gotta go again one day.

A trip to San Antonio isn’t the same without a stop at the Sichuan House. Their house made wontons in the broth (with spice on the side), the braised pork belly on mustard greens, the spicy crispy chicken...nothing we have eaten has disappointed us. This is my favorite place to eat in San Antonio.

The place was very authentic in terms of food. The service was good too although our waiter seemed annoyed at times in spite of an empty restaurant and wasn’t very knowledgeable about the dishes he was serving either. The tap in the restroom wasn’t working either. Other than that, the food was very good. I have had better and more robust authentic Chinese food (some of the same dishes we tried there) for cheaper in restaurants elsewhere, but this was good too! The soup dumplings and the tea smoked duck are great!

HIGHY RECOMEND!!! Very quick service, food is extremely fresh and fast. My wife had the chicken fried rice, and it was the best we have ever had... which is saying something. Green beans were absolutely perfect. I had crispy, spicy, savory, and it had a lot of peppers 🌶 very spicy. I would order again, but with less peppers. Dumplings(fried) were very good and fresh, not greasy. We will be back when in San Antonio.

Food is the best authentic Chinese you'll ever get. Customer service is top notch and one entree is def enough for two. My recommendations would be salt & pepper calamari/fried fish. Duck and sesame chicken. Try the garlic bok choy it is delicious. Rolo always does above and beyond on customer service. Highly recommend asking Rolo for what is good on the menu based on what you are in the mood for. Thank you Rolo for delivering excellence and making us want to come back every single time.

Soooo good! The Crispy, Spicy & Savory chicken is a must! Our whole party loved it and it was perfect. It looks spicy because of all the peppers but it’s a different type of spice and it’s delicious and tolerable.

What a deliciously flavored meal we had here. Visited this restaurant for lunch and was delighted with a delicious meal. The food is served family style and so the portions are quite generous. On this visit we shared Jasmine tea, garlic 🧄 green beans and Mongolian chicken. It was just so tasty. Excited to go back and try other dishes.

This place a hidden gem. If you like Chinese food like we do Sichuan house will not disappoint. We live about 25 -30 mins across town and we probably dine there almost 4 times a month. Rolo and James are the managers and are very attentive with the guests and sometimes help with the wait staff when things get busy. The customer service there is on point. Waitresses are knowledgeable of the menu and recommend good dishes based on our taste. I hope they open up a 2nd location on the north east side where we're at (Live Oak , Universal City). We always leave there satisfied and pleased. Photos: Salt and pepper fish, salt and pepper calamari, general tso chicken, Kung pao shrimp, pork dumplings, garlic bok choy, tea smoked duck.

I ordered Mala “spicy-numbing” dry pot with choice of beef and Pock-marked mother Chen Mapo tofu. Both are delicious. Very authentic. If you like spicy food you should definitely try these. I forgot my server’s name but she was amazing. I will go again soon!!

Customer service was great, Fabian was very knowledgeable and made great recommendations. The Crispy Dumplings were amazing and the best I've ever had. The Lo mein sauce was incredible and highly recommended, what very little was left went home with me. I am definitely coming back. They also have a reward program where you earn points for every $1 spent, you can't go wrong with that when there is amazing food tied to a reward program.

New review Biy thiamplace has changed, from 20page menu to one page. They did leave the beat things on the menu, they have soup dumplings although i hoped they would be more soupy. Everything is banging in flavors. Soo damn good. Old review Calvin was an amazing host and explained the menu very well. Family servings. absolutely delicious. would definitely come back and bring a friend. Signature items are the most popular. spice level 2 is very delicious and just the right level of super hot but wont burn your tongue off. they had bigger tables so you can bring a group. restaurant and restroom clean. well decorated. I'd like to see this place grow!

Came here for lunch and everything was amazing! Service was great got seated right away and our food came out quick! The server was very attentive and friendly! We ordered the cold noodles and pork dumplings for the appetizer. I was not a big fan of the dumplings but they were good. Although the noodles omg so delicious!! Main entree we got the spicy savory shrimp and it came with rice, my partner ordered the pork belly dish, wow both again were amazing!! Definitely coming back to dine it! If you’re looking for fresh authentic Chinese food this is your place! Highly recommend! 10/10 👍🏼

Sichuan House was everything I hoped for. Great atmosphere for lunch, amazing food, and outstanding service. We started with a cup of egg drop soup. Very flavorful and hearty. You can see it is made full of eggs, tofu and various vegetables. My favorite item was the Crispy, Spicy & Savory chicken dish. If you are a thrill seeker and enjoy the spicy & numbing feeling of Sichuan chili peppers this dish is for you!!!! My colleague ordered the Spicy Garlic eggplant which was a perfect secondary dish . The sauce adds a bit of sweetness to complement the heat from the Sichuan chili peppers. And yes they do have Hot chili oil to add to any of your dishes. If you have been wanting to try this place out, don’t walk… RUN! It’s really that good.

Was good, group ate family style ordering all the below, duck was a little dry and the seasoning does have a very strong kick if you're not used to it but it is very authentic tasting and legit. Very solid place. I would rate 7.5/10 but I'm rounding up to be nice.

Absolutely love this place, the food is amazing the portion size are impressive as well. I usually get the Crispy savory fish with combination fried rice or Lo Mein. The smashed cucumbers are delicious and the garlic green beans are a great appetizer. Top it off with a lychee tea! The staff is always thoughtful and kind.
