Sazo's restaurant in the Marriott Rivercenter has the best breakfast buffet. They will custom make an omelet any way you want with a wide variety of vegetable and meat options. The fruit is terrific. The bacon is the best ever. There is a selection baked muffins, bread and chocolate croissants. There are many varieties of jelly and scones to try them on. They have a full range of the "regular" breakfast items as well - yogurt, cereal, milk, eggs, sausage, home fries (delicious).
Daniel and Jennifer are the most delightful servers. You will feel like you are at your grandmother's kitchen in the sense that they strive to get you whatever you need. Daniel is so polite, attentive and soft spoken. Jennifer is so full of energy; she bounces around the floor taking care of all her tables.
This isn't our first visit to Sazo's. We visit San Antonio every other year or so on a Marriott package. The one thing we make sure we make time for is the breakfast at Sazo's. Once we have breakfast, we usually don't eat again until dinner. It is worth the price.

Unexpectedly Delicious!. Would have never thought that the best food I would have in San Antonio would be at a Marriott! Everything was fantastic and I am still dreaming about the Tres Leches cake. If you are in town, this surprisingly delightful restaurant is worth a try!

Chef John Jasso is a genius. The Jasso burger is simply amazing. I was warned about not being able to finish it but I did. I had to sacrifice the fries in order to finish the burger. No way was I going to leave a piece of that masterpiece un-eaten. The bread is simply AMAZING! My GF had the enchiladas verdes which were also amazing. Unfortunately she wasn't able to finish them.

Tortilla Soup is AMAZING!!!. I have never been disappointed at Sazo's. I love the ambiance... the rich colors and romantic light is a wonderful backdrop for any meal. The tortilla soup is the best I've had in the entire city. Pick-up the recipe on you way out and you can make it at home and impress your friends and family. The Lump Crab Salad is another one of my favorites. Check it out!!!

Top notch food and service! We booked a business dinner here with bourbon pairings and education. It was top notch! Big props to the chef and so much credit to Fernando and Katrina, who took care of our group. Fernando even have more bourbon education after Woodford Reserve shared their knowledge. Everything was beautifully prepared and cooked to perfection. If you have an event in San Antonio, this is a great spot to host a large group of clients.

Great food. Went for a late night takeout and got food back to the hotel. Was not expecting it to be this flavorful and was pleasantly surprised! Great presentation as well, even for takeout!

Everything we ordered was cooked to perfection! We tried the brunch menu and one dish that stood out was the sweet tea bacon. It is thick cut, had a smokey taste, and was really tender. It had a nice big bar that separated the two dining areas. Definitely recommend this place for some delicious eats!

Restaurant in the lobby of the Marriott. A little expensive but amazing service and very delicious food. I'd say generous portions as well. I had a few drinks as well as snack and lunch one day. All good!

The Tributary catered a very important dinner for me. They went above and beyond to accommodate us. The food was delicious and the servers handle every little detail with alacrity and excellence. I definitely recommend the Tributary in the Marriott River center.

Oh. My. God. What?! The BEST in every way! We tried so many appetizers and those Tributary burgers…they’re double smash! Yes! To LIVE for! It’s a MUST! And if there’s a wait…in my book - it’s worth it! Oh and the shrimp and grits…wow! Smoked chicken! Wow! Pork belly sliders! Wow! Shrimp appetizers…double wow! And that Bavarian pretzel, with beer cheese! You guessed it…WOW!

The location of the Hotel is in the middle of Downtown San Antonio. You are right next to the riverwalk, Rivercenter mall and 5 minutes away from the Alamo. The rooms are nice and staff awesome.

I ordered the aloo gobi tacos to go and they were amazing!! The staff is nice and the decor is modern. My two complaints are that the music is loud and, as much as I loved them, $15 for three vegetarian tacos is too much.

Our dinner at Marriott was wonderful! I use to work for Marriott in Michigan, till 2008 when most of his EBC'S had to be withdrawn. So, if I really need to go back to work. I will go to a Marriott and see if I will be hired. Really hope so, I really enjoyed working for this company.

I went in for breakfast and decided to have the buffet where both of my children were free (only if you order buffet). I have Celiac Disease so I can't have gluten. The server, Daniel was very accommodating and he went to ask the chef if he didn't know if something had gluten in it. My boys enjoyed the food. Will be going back in tomorrow.
