Flying Saucer - San Antonio - Photo album

Everyone was happy with our first visit here. The soft pretzel was the best! Perfect spicy mustard or cheese sauce to dip it in. We also had the Saucer burger and fries, the picnic platter and the kids had a cheese pizza. I've never had a purple cheese (from the picnic platter), but it was delicious
Took a spontaneous night road trip to San Antonio for some good grub and brews. I used to visit Flying Saucer Houston when I lived there and San Antonio's location has blew me out of the water with how fresh and fried to perfection their wings are. Got them tossed in a mix of Garlic Parm & Buffalo.
We really went here for the beer and to be honest, we figured we’d get a mediocre meal but still enjoy ourselves. For this reason, I ordered a Rueben. It’s my fallback because I’ve had great ones and I’ve had terrible ones, but even the bad ones I can eat without too much disappointment. We were qu
We always enjoy our visits here and love going with friends. There have been a few missteps in the past, such as when I ordered the prosciutto and arugula pizza and it came out with no arugula only to find out that they didn't have any. Wish they would have told me that when I ordered it.. or came o
Really like this place but we don't get over to this part of town since Dad passed away. Great selection of beer and there is always a special of the day, which is the draft beer likely closest to expiration. I always get it as it's still good and less expensive. The food is great and the daily s
Best place in town to grab a cold one after a long day. The waiters and waitresses are extremely knowledgeable about their beers and are extremely friendly. Start your membership if you go and try out some new brews each week as their stock is constantly rotating. Overall, it is just a cool place to
Food was ok! I only went to hang out to have a drink! Food is decent. It’s a great place if you like beer.
This was a really cool place and an extremely enjoyable experience. Everyone was helping us but not in an overwhelming kind of way…more like an occasional reassurance that you’re gonna have a great time, great drinks and great food. The beer recommendations and tasters were spot on with what my par
Went here on a Wednesday afternoon just after they opened. It was unusually silent and then we realized that it's too early for a beer. It's located off the freeway and it easy to get here. It is a well designed place. I loved their ambience. The service was prompt and the servers help you select th
Stopped by when we were visiting the area to meet a friend. The outdoor seating was fantastic, as well as the food and beer selection. We really enjoy sour beers and this place had some beers on tap I'd never seen available anywhere else. My pizza was fantastic too and the service was on point.
First time here. The salad and turkey sandwich were tasty. Great service and atmosphere. Patio is nice for people watching and it’s pet friendly.
You can always count on Flying Saucer for two things...great beer selections and delicious food. Oh and the staff are always super-friendly and helpful if you can't quite decide on what to try. Foods I recommend are the Reuben-esque and the San Miguel Burger. These two are my go-to choices and you w
Great rotation of beers! I check Untappd and come in a few times a month to have what's new. I'm a big fan of stouts and they always have a solid selection, whether it's on tap or bottles/cans. The beertenders are always awesome!
Been here a few times for drinks but never ordered food til yesterday. All I can say is I have been craving their Hot Mama pizza all day! Completely blew my mind of how good everything was. We can not wait to go back.
Lots of imported beers. Gastro pub with European flare. You can do a custom plate here if you join their club and drink a certain number of beers.
Flying Saucer is a chain, but it's a very welcomed one given the great beer selection, good food, and the prompt service! It's the kind of beer bar everyone wants around. The beer menu is digital and had multiple tabs divided by how strong the beer's reputation is. They have a huge selection from to
Food was good but heavy ands not greasy. We opted to sit inside but should have sat outside as it was very stuffy inside. The pretzel was delicious. A lot of beers to try of you like beer.
