Hadn't been to Toro (downtown) for a few years. We had an excellent meal of tapas, have to get the dates, and Toro paella. It was all delicious. There were 4 of us and we were full with 4 tapas and a small paella.
Sangria is refreshing and we tried a few of these other cocktail offerings.

Nice atmosphere but wish seating wasn’t so tight but the food was pretty good. Definitely going to visit again and also try the other location.
Happy hour is a great option to try Spanish tapas and montaditos. The house wine is sweet and delicious. The paella is fantastic. The place is small, so make reservations for 6+ people.

The Tapas had an outstanding flavor and the “paella” was simply the best paella i’ve ever had in my life.

Excellent dining experience. You surely feel like you're in a fancy tapas place in Madrid. Great vibe. The food was delicious. Make reservations for happy hour (M-F 2-7p) to sample tapas and really good cocktails. Stay for the music that starts at 8.
Wonderful selection of tapas, dishes, wine, and desserts. Waitress was super helpful, courteous, prompt. Flavor and quality of the dishes was spot on. Very much enjoyed the environment and the food here. Customers were also friendly and lively. Highly recommended. 👍
Fantastic place, can't say enough about it, server was fantastic as was the wine and meal,. A nice selection of wines from easy $22 all the way to $100 bottles, your choice.

A little slow to get you going. I sat at the bar, not many tables. The male bartender acknowledged me when I Sat down. He then walked away and didn't come back for 15 to 20 min. The female bartender was spot on, she saw me sitting there and didn't hesitate to help me.
Came for the happy hour at Toro. The drinks were tasty and the food was really good. We ordered a few tapas and all came out quickly. Each dish was very flavorful.
The restaurant was well kept and clean. The bartenders were helpful and attentive. Will need to try some of their dinner entrees next.
It’s not often I leave such a glowing review with no complaints, but holy heck what a meal.
We got the classic paella to share with 4, a number of tapas, and a carajillo which was a great show and delicious drink. Our waiter Gabriel was attentive, kind, and gave fantastic recommendations.

This is THE place for happy hour if you love gin! The whole gin bar for $8. Also some awesome tapas on special. Had dinner on the patio with a great view of our SA tower. Will definitely be back with family and friends
We went for the first time last night and I can’t say enough good about this place. Let’s start with live Flamenco music Friday and Saturday nights….. Place was packed so we sat at the bar. The service was amazing. I don’t think anything we ordered tool more than 10-15 minutes. Food was amazing
We came to San Antonio on a weekday. The trip was pretty unexpected but we managed to rush through some famous spots in the city and came by Toro in the evening for a dinner as we saw some online recommendations about the restaurant.
