I have yet to have dinner here (soon!) but recently had lunch on a weekday with work colleagues. Each item: the classic roasted chicken, salad, soup du jour (butternut squash that day), flourless chocolate cake -- and off the menu extra croissants from their boulangerie next door -- was delicious. The care and attention to creating classically simple yet delicious food was obvious. We are all delighted to have this authentic French gem available in San Antonio.

Great food and good customer service. Very nice place on the corner of Broadway near downtown San Antonio. Parking can be a little hard to get or could be about $12 an hour in one of the available parking lots or if you are lucky you may be able to get curbside parking with a meter. Also called La Boulangerie

I was just walking downtown when I came upon this place. I always wanted to try macarons and I ended up buying a box of them with one of each flavor. I shared it with my family when I got home and they all loved it! Owner is very nice and I hope to try the lunch menu at some point. But yes, merci La Boulangerie for making such a tasty treat (and scratching something off of my food bucket list). Oh I am keeping the box for other purposes, it's so pretty!

It was my first time here and first time for French food as well. I was quite pleased with this place. Food was very good and was explained to me by the server who had excellent skills and great smile. The atmosphere was good for a date or business meeting. Portions were good sized and prices are just. I will be back when I visit San Antonio again.

We were on a visit to San Antonio and just happened upon this place. Quaint spot with excellent French food. We had breakfast and the croissant and French Toast were amazing. We also purchased a baguette and a loaf of sour dough bread. Prices were also good! Will definitely come here again if we visit San Antonio again!

Authentic french bakery with a more local feel. A lot more chill than some of the other french bakeries closer in downtown. Come here if you want a relaxing environment and authentic food, plain and simple.

Most authentic Parisian cuisine in San Antonio. Owned and run by French family that provides exquisite attention to the quality of the ingredients, preparation, and presentation. The food is delicately prepared to draw out the flavors of the ingredients without the heavy sauces found in many French restaurants. The best restaurant in San Antonio for those who are looking for fine dining that doesn't make you worry about your cholesterol.

It's not just a bakery--it's an authentic and quintessentially FRENCH bakery that is as good or better than the best I have enjoyed in France during our annual travels throughout France over the past 20 years. From the bread, tarts, and specialties to the soups, sandwiches, and salads. And the wines! We are so lucky to have the Nykiels and their retinue. May they live long and prosper! Merci Sylvie and Sylvain!!
