Valentine's Day Lunch 2018
We really enjoyed our lunch and the time we spent today at this superb Italian Ristorante with our Belgian Malinois 'Ryder' (often mistaken for a German Shepherd :)) The first thing w noticed upon arrival, was the beautiful outdoor patio with comfortable cushioned chairs to sit on. For our special Valentine's Day lunch, we started things off with as we requested, a sweet red wine. 'Sangue Di Giuda' was recommended by our server Joe and for us, it was the perfect wine for the occasion. Our boy 'Ryder' was also given a fresh bowl of cold water which he enjoyed as well. From the menu it was the Margherita Pizza for Diane and Polpette Pasta (Spaghetti & Meatballs)for me. It was all totally excellent excellent food and the service we received was also excellent. We could not have asked for better. We highly recommend this place. Hence we give it a 5 bone rating as well as a five star rating.

My boyfriend and I came here last night for the first time ever just out of the blue for a birthday treat, and at first were a bit skeptical because of the pricing. We’re so used to pricier restaurants not delivering on quality and feeling like we lost out on money, but Luce’s definitely delivered! The atmosphere is amazing, very soft and warm with smooth music playing. Our server, Rachel, was really sweet and funny. The chefs prepared our food just right with juicy tender chicken. We experienced nothing but great hospitality from start to finish! Definitely worth the money we paid, and we definitely will be back!
Definitely my new favorite Italian restaurant! The food is phenomenal, service is wonderful, and they've got a great happy hour! The lobster ravioli was my favorite and our server, Justin, had some wonderful recommendations to make sure we had the best experience possible. We will definitely be back soon!
One of the best experiences we have had in almost 6 years residing in San Antonio! Ask for three things when you go: The gnocchi, lamb chops, and Daniel for your server!

Atmosphere was great and the food was beyond stellar along with the service! Definitely recommend the lamb, every flavor is there and jumps out at you. I'll be back very soon for the exact same dish!

We have been going to this beautiful place for quite awhile. Always enjoyable, consistent in flavor and presentation. We've tried almost every menu item and have never been dissapointed.
Excellent staff, excellent food! Booked a birthday party on the patio last fall, and everything was perfect. Diego and Mike were attentive and very helpful!

Excellent food and outstanding service. I entrusted Michael Moore and his team at Luce with my event and I'm so happy I did. I received excellent feedback about every aspect of the experience from my guests. Both the service and food were flawless. It was an extra nice touch for the staff to be ready to assist guests with umbrellas on a rainy day. Well done Luce! We'll be back!

If you are looking for a good Italian spot, this is your place. Hidden away in a small shopping center is this restaurant. Service was good, and everything was cooked to perfection. They have an extensive drink menu and a lot of classic staple Italian dishes. My only complaint is that the back area was a little cramped for my standard. I would recommend this place for business or a date.
Our girls night out was great. This awesome restaurant delivered on delicious food right down to the last morsel. We received 5 stars service from the waiters, who were professional & courtesy to our many requests.
Even the owner stopped by to introduce himself & ensure our needs were accommodated. I can't stop raving about what a great experience we all had! I would definitely recommend this place to evervone!
I'm not sure why this place feels like an unknown quantity when it is almost always busy and almost always cooking delicious fare. Maybe it's the fact that it isn't set somewhere nice in downtown San Antonio but, whatever it is, I'm glad this place is around.
I have come here plenty, and have yet to find something that isn't cooked or seasoned well. I had salmon over the top of vegetable risotto. The salmon was perfect and I had to slow myself down because the risotto was incredible as well. Paired with wine, it does feel like 5 star dining for the prices of a 2 star restaurant.

Had a small birthday dinner here and it was great m. The atmosphere was wonderful. Great wine selection and the food was great. The birthday tiramisu was excellent!

So I took my Fiancée to Luce Ristorante E Enoteca . It's a very romantic little spot with awesome food and ambiance. When it's cooler they have a lovely patio area as well. I got a special reserved table where they have wine bottles all around giving a stained glass affect. They also gave a complimentary Tiramisu cake for his Birthday. We did the Special 4 course menu each. Our choice or red, white or sparkling wine. For the Antipasti - Costolette di Maile Balsamic Glazed: St. Louis Style Pork Ribs & Caprese: Tomato Slices and Fresh Mozzarella di Latte, Basil, and Olive Oil. For the Entree - Ravioli di Aragosta: Lobster Filled Ravioli, Tomato Basil Cream Sauce, Maine Lobster Meat & Mare e Monte: Grilled Sliced Certified Angus 10 oz. Bistro Tenderloin, 4 Grilled Shrimp, Fettuccine Alfredo, Toasted Garlic Vegetables. Dessert - Vanilla Bean Crème Brule & Tiramisu: Lady Fingers Dredged in Espresso, Layered with Rum Mascarpone, Topped with Whipped Cream and Chocolate Shavings. Everything was delicious and fresh made. The service was top notch as well. Definitely a night we will remember.

If you're looking for a five-star dining experience, Luce Ristorante is the place to be! Upon walking in, the upscale decor and chic ambiance immediately set the tone for a fantastic evening.
One of the highlights of Luce Ristorante is their impressive Happy Hour menu. The dirty martinis and lemon drop martinis are a must-try! The flavor combinations are perfect, and the bartenders really know how to make a quality cocktail.
As for the food, the Stromboli was an absolute standout. The crispy exterior perfectly complemented the gooey cheese and savory meat, creating a mouthwatering treat unlike any other.
To top it all off, the service was nothing short of amazing. Our server, Miranda, truly went above and beyond to ensure that our dining experience was flawless. She was attentive, friendly, and made excellent recommendations.
Overall, I would highly recommend Luce Ristorante. From the tasty cocktails to the delicious food and fantastic service, they have it all. A perfect destination for a romantic date night, a celebratory dinner, or any special occasion.
I had the best experience working with the staff to set up a business dinner for 25 people. The owner and his servers were more than accommodating, responsive, and helpful. The food was delicious. I will definitely work with this restaurant again. It’s a great choice especially for entertaining near the Medical Center.

Visited this location for a special event not during regular business hours. The food was superb, and service was fast & friendly! Started off with delicious meatballs and bruschetta appetizers along with mimosas. Entrées included steak, rigatoni with spicy sausage and meatballs or Halibut on top of a creamy shrimp & asparagus risotto, which is what I had. Beautiful restaurant all around...food, ambiance, and service. Looking forward to returning for a nice dinner sometime soon!
We held our son and his fiance's rehearsal dinner at Luce. It could not have been any more perfect. Our party of 20 was treated like royalty. The food was incredible, and the service was top-notch. We're so grateful for a perfect rehearsal dinner!
Just had an early Christmas dinner here with my mother in law and my family. My favorite Italian restaurant in the city. We come here often and are never disappointed, Joe is truly one of a kind and his menu is incredible. Highly recommend the ossubucco(I probably butchered the spelling) carciofi, lasagna, chicken parmigiana, papperdelle, and lamb chops. The chianti wine pairs great with everything, also the Luce wine is amazing. Truly some of the best food I've ever eaten. Service isn't always perfect, but they do a good job.

Pleasant place that has outdoor and indoor seating. The indoors are dimly lit creating a nice ambiance. The wait staff were very attentive and friendly.
Food was excellent. Great taste, fresh made, and well presented. The portion sizes are Texas sized!
Food is delicious, especially our server Josaiah very professiona and knowledge. Lamp is really good. Shrimp and riceball really tasty.The desert cheesecake was amazing. It was my friend's birthday she very happy with everything.

My pasta was good but it I thought it was a little heavy on the noodles and light on the meat and veggies. My server was great to interact with but went long spans of time without checking in. I'll be back to try again if see if my next experience steps it up a little bit.
The food was delightful but the wait time was extremely long post ordering. The server offered us a complimentary cocktail for the trouble. I recommend this place overall.
