This seems like an authentic mom and pop place, even though it's a franchise: Service was personable and attentive. (Both the host and server waited to see if we enjoyed our first bites.)

The place and food really felt as authentic Mexican, it was great to find mole. The service sadly was slow and we had to ask over three times to get another plate, silverware...
The cocktails flavor and size were good but portions of the plates were a bit small for the price.
The food was tasty, the chips and salsa were fantastic, the horchata was amazing. Only two staff members when we visited and it was wonderful. Some things are a bit pricey for some. Loved it anyway.
Nice vibe. Cool decor. A smaller, out of the mad rush place. No wait for seating on a Saturday night. The spicy margarita was great. The food was okay. Driest pork I've ever had, but the beans & rice were decent.
Cute place for food! Visiting the area and their Caldo Xotchil was just the thing for the chilly weather that came in the area! The service was great! Decent prices too!
By far, not just the most authentic, but the most flavorful Mexican food by far. We went twice on our vacation because there is nothing like this in Houston or San Antonio! Try the Tex Mex combo enchilada plate, fajitas, freshly made Guac and much more. Bring your dice to play snakes and ladders on
AMAZING cuisine, I Highly Recommend visiting. The food was portioned just right, not making you feel overly full or sluggish. The dessert was Great and the Margaritas were made to perfection! I am also pleased to say the chicken was Not Dry and was very good. We will visit again.

Went to look at the venue upstairs for a future event. Absolutely 💯! Went back downstairs for dinner & it was delicious! Had the Mexican combo plate and OMG, so yummy! I also had a jalapeno margarita, and it rocked!! I can't wait to go again!

Great little place. Very basic menu, but solid. Saw many reviews unhappy with the service, but ours was pretty good. Checked on several times, no drinks went dry. Not the super best Mexican food, but definitely solid. Overall, a very good experience.
Went during a quiet time, food is amazing! Overall wait staff wasn't too friendly but attentive and I wanted for nothing. The Carnitas Guadalajara was really well done.
This was a must visit for me on my trip to San Antonio. The food was flavorful and the Sopapillas are the best in town! It is a close, pleasant walk from the Riverwalk and the Alamo.
