I ate lunch at the bar and really enjoyed it. I wasn't sure what to expect based on the reviews. I was impressed by the drink menu, lots of current options. The staff was really friendly and the food was great....I will definitely be back.
Happy Hour Hot Spot. Visited here with The Husband. It was happy hour so the beer was cold delicious and on sale and appetizers were $5 each so we got a couple of those instead of full meals. Fried zucchini was awesome. We will definitely be back.
Went a second time with a large party of family type crowd. Merideth was not as good when they were a bit busier, but food was again delicious. Some reviews say salty and I agree but I am a fan or salty food. tavern is in the name and it is bar food but better. the Hubs went with some co-workers and said the chicken and waffles is awesome and so big another guy in his party had to finish it for him.
2nd Best Sports Bar in Stone Oak...worth the trip!. I rank BHT&T at 2nd overall for Sports Bars in the Stone Oak area, just behind Cover Three. Ambiance is warm, clean, and inviting with a HUMONGO fireplace. Despite being 175 in the middle of summer in South Central Tejas, that bad boy was lit up and looked good. Lots of HDTVs with good views. Open air seating outside. Hostess offered us a booth, table, or....sofa (WTF?). We opted for a table. Staff are friendly, attentive, and helpful. Menu is quite varied. We went for 4 snacks. The 2 that our server recommended were EXCELLENT: Sweet & Spicy Tails and Duck Wings. We avoided the Fried Stuffed Olives, per the server. Spike Calamari and White Meat Chicken Bites were...okay. Great assortment of draft beers. We noticed the beer bongs, but passed on that college antic. OVERALL: VERY GOOD. RECOMMENDED. Will return.
Love this place. Ate here for lunch and dinner. Philly cheesesteak. Yum.
Brick House has by far the best customer service I have had. If you want some awesome service ask for Amy. And the zombie cocktail is delicious. Working in car sales you know what good service is when you get it.

Nice twist on everyday meals. I had the Fried Chicken sandwich, very juicy with a little touch of spice. My wife had the Grilled Cheese and Tomato Bisque soup, both were awesome meals and not overly pricey, with very good service and wait staff, Great Job,We will be back!
We went with a large party and called ahead. Food was great and service was also great. Would recommend to anyone. Highly recommend Pizza and the chicken and waffles.

No Tap but there is a nice menu. They had a malfunction with their taps today so I didn't get to try any beer....bad first impressions....however everything from the service to the food was outstanding! I can see myself coming back with the hiccup today because they do have a creative menu. The deviled eggs with bacon were a hit but I have had better chicken and waffles before but theirs wasn't too bad. Very nice posh place to drink a beer (when available) and watch a game.

Need more parking space. Do not park across Krispy creme, they will tow your vehicle. People are sitting out there watching when you park and will tow as soon as you walk across to brick house.
Service and food is good. I had the crab cake burger. Wife had the blue cheese burger. But for a sports bar type place the beer isn't cold. I'll give it a month before i go back. If the beer isn't cold. It'll be the last time I go.
This place has easy access from the freeway. There is plenty of parking. The servers were friendly and attentive. Service was quick and efficient. First I had the roasted Brussels and they were quite tasty. Next I had the Nashville cauliflower and it too did not disappoint. Last I tried the Buffalo chicken meatballs. They were salty and needed something to balance the saltiness. Still it was a good dinner for my quick trip to San Antonio.
Overall a great place to go for brunch, lunch,dinner or just pub grub. Michelada was a great price, and the Bloody Mary was fantastic. The chicken and waffles are great and the Devil Eggs are great. One of the things that you will enjoy if you are into making sure your hands are clean before eating, no runs to the restroom they actually bring hand wipes to the table! Service was great as well.
It's a Daddy-daughter night! My husband and I have been to @brickhousett many times but I've not brought Dad here until dinner tonight.
Dad saw photos of the Deviled Eggs and wanted to try them. We each ate a half egg and took the rest home. We shared the Fish and Chips, which Kayse kindly had the kitchen split for us. So what's pictured is only a half portion. We didn't finish it all either! Dad had the Lemonade and I had the Strawberry Coconut Margarita on happy hour. Happy hour ends at 7pm.
Everything was delicious! I'd say the fries could be a tad more crispy though. Dad thoroughly enjoyed it all. Kayse took good care of us.

My wife and I were celebrating our 36th wedding anniversary and the Houston Astros started their first playoff game that day. After researching on Google we picked BHT +T. We weren’t disappointed. The food was delicious. I had the Drunken Pork chop and a IPA recommended by the waiter. My wife had waffles & chicken. Astros won!
Brick House provides everything you could want for a fun happy hour location. The food is good and portions are generous. The drinks all have good deals or very reasonable pricing. The bar has an indoor and outdoor sides so you can enjoy the good beer deals in or out. The inside has spacious comfortable booth seating and an active fireplace.
Great atmosphere and music, outside seating, the food they serve goes perfect with the beer. Huge beer selection too as well as wine and cocktails. Good happy hour specials, too.
I ordered the pork chops and they are massive and delicious; two chops about an inch thick with mashed taters. I almost went into a diabetic coma after I finished. Felt like an anaconda digesting a deer.
I've had the lamb burger, fish and chips, chicken and waffles, and a couple of other dishes. All good and no complaints in my 8 visits to this joint. Good service, too. Young staff is very friendly and diverse.
Highly recommended for drinks and/or food.
Love the vibe here. We were seated on the coaches right next to the fireplace and the heat was nice for a cool night. My drink of choice was the Woodford Berry Honey Sour. I'm a fan of honey flavored bourbon so this was a delicious cocktail. We ordered the panko breaded Zucchini Curls. They were perfectly crispy and the dipping sauce was amazing. We didn't go wrong ordering the Miso Glazed Salmon and Brick House BBQ Ribs. The menu had so many mouth watering options I'll definitely be back to try more on the menu and checkout their brunch.

First time to this place. Really like the interior design, bar service both indoor and outdoor area. Service staff all wearing mask and are courteous. Food is great! Highly recommend bacon lobster sandwich and chicken pot pie, which are their top sellers.
The atmosphere was superb; I loved the cozy feel, and the fireplace was a nice touch. It was nice and quiet, and the restrooms were clean. The staff were friendly. The food...least to greatest: The coleslaw sucked...really, it was kind of gross. Flavorless cabbage in milky-watery white substance. The fries were rather plain: needed salt and or seasonings. The Nashville Hot Cauliflower was decent. It had a nice kick on some of it, but I didn’t care for the texture of the nuggets. To me they were a little soggy-ish. The fish was ok: basic fried fish...no complaints. The Crispy Brussel Sprouts and The Duck Wings were very delicious! It was bursting with flavors. Seriously...I think there was a party going on in my mouth with all the right flavors.
Service was great! Our waitress, Ashley was very nice. Had dinner and beer with the hubby. Enjoyed the Drunken Chicken with Fries, Deviled Eggs and Avocado Toast. For beer I had the Blood and Honey by Revolver Brewery. Very nice. Hubby had a Samuel Adam's.
We got food to go and didnt eat in. We did try the chips with blue cheese and white queso. We did like this one a lot due to the blue cheese crumbles. It was unique and paired very well.
We also tried the wild mushroom flat bread pizza. This did not taste to bad.
The spicy calamari was pretty good. We wished we had more rings though.
Finally thr meatloaf was moist and had a good flavor.
We like how they try to have unique food items and flavors. We will definitely try some of their other menu items sometime as well.

Brick House tavern + tap is my upscale, comfortable and awesome sports bar that I come to for at least a couple of meals and a bunch of drinks every time I'm in town. They have TVs as far as the eye can see, the staff at the bar they're attentive, funny, the food is good, and a drink sir exactly what you need them to be. be sure to try the Philly cheese steak, or the fish and chips, both are really good.the outside deck bosun ice fire pits and comfortable tables looking in at TVs everywhere. Great sports bar!
This place had delicious food and drinks! Pick the tater tots. They tasted better than the fries. The waiter was friendly. Will definitely go back.
Started of with a Bloody Good Mary. Ordered the Black & Blue a Cajan spiked burger with melted blue cheese and carmelized onions, nice combination. Washed it down with a draft Guinness. The food and drinks were very good☺ can't wait to come back and see what else they have to try. Stopped back by a year later for another bloody good Mary and ordered the exact same thing as I did last Time.
First time visiting. Very cool setup from the outside to the bar! We only came for Happy Hour (the Margaritas are awesome by the way) & ordered a sampler plate. Everything was very good! A little pricey but will definitely be back to try more menu items.
