We moved in down the street from the cute area in Beacon Hill and finally were able to try out this gem. My kids loved it and so did my husband and I. We went during happy and were very satisfied with the portions of everything. I loved that the jalapeños had a kick to them. Highly recommend! Oh and get the truffle fries!

We loved both pizza options we got. Absolutely amazing flavors. The restaurant was kid friendly. We had a great server and even better happy hour prices! Best happy hour in town!

Went here with my sister and brother-in-law last night. I appreciated the patience from my server and her help answering our questions on the menu. The steak was cooked perfectly, and the pizzas had a fantastic crunch to hold all the toppings. We started with the cheese sticks, and I can attest to them being legit. A lot of places have the cheese blow out, but you'll see by the photo, there is a bomb dot com cheese pull.

Delicious food and menu with some great happy hour specials from 5-7. We really loved the location too. Service was pretty lacking tbh, but I normally order takeout anyways.

Great food. Really good drinks and pizza. It was very warm in the back area by the oven. enough to break a mild sweat. Because of that, I would give it a 4.5. Service was pretty good. I will go back for sure, but sit in the front area. Geez, it was warm!

We went to SoHill Cafe for the first time last Friday night and I would definitely go back again. I ordered the Meat Lovers pizza which was delicious. Even though it had a lot of meat on it, it wasn’t very greasy and the crust was perfect. My wife ordered the gluten free alfredo pasta. I had a bite of that as well and it was very good. I also appreciated that they have several local craft beers on tap. The service was great and I just really liked the atmosphere in the restaurant. It was very relaxed and the art on the walls was a nice touch. Give them a try if you’re looking for excellent pizza and pasta in SA.

Sometimes it's easy to get lost in the hustle and bustle of quick Italian food. But Sohill Cafe reminds us how Italian food is suppose to taste in a laid back atmosphere. The staff was amazing. And having this half chicken on top of gnocchi with mushroom marsala sauce was to die for. The spaghetti and meatballs were awesome. Thank you for having us.

AMAZING! This place is a gem. I’m glad someone told me it existed. From the outside it’s pretty nondescript, but inside is quite unique and cozy. The food was great. The Caesar was super green, yay and the pesto mushroom fettuccini was fantastic. I don’t event like mushrooms, but I was feeling adventurous and tried the dish. The chicken was so moist. I don’t even really like chicken! The pasta is made from scratch too. The spicy truffle fries and the pizza was delicious as well. Their menu isn’t super extensive, but it doesn’t have to be when your specialties are so well done. I have anything bad to say, I loved my experience!

UPDATE: Fyi Parking is small if you go during lunch time be prepared to park away from establishment. If you go during the evening for dinner Parking shouldn't be an issue due to the other stores next door being closed. If turnaround time is quick you should find parking if not you can park in other designated parking spaces from the stores that are closed. If not you'll have to park across the street or at the end of corner. If you're looking for Authentic GREAT Food made from scratch this is the place to go. This Bistro is on Blanco Rd in the Beacon Hill District. The food taste like Nothing I've ever had before the Spices, Zest and Herbs in the Pasta is Magnifico!!! The Pizza bread is Made Fresh upon your order and cooked in an Original Brick Oven. It's a Fabulous place to either Dine in for 2 or for a Trio, having a Party of more than 4 is stretching it. RESERVATIONS ARE HIGHLY RECOMMENDED not needed but if you don't mind waiting up to 1.0 or 1.5 hrs and another hour for your meal feel free to be a Walk-in but be prepared to wait. EVERYTHING is Made on the spot which is why the wait is long but TOTALLY worth it. They have a variety of foods on the Menu, from Salads, to burgers, Pizza and Pastas. Along with a variety of Beverages and a small Bar area to have a couple of drinks before your meal. I saw this location on the Local News and let's just say I don't foresee this location being a permanent location. I do however see Jean-Francois, the Owner, will have to be leasing space in a larger establishment because this Bistro WILL be getting VERY busy, more than it currently is and with GREAT reason. Jean-Francois was very Polite, Friendly and Welcoming he REALLY makes you fell at home, the waitress was also VERY attentive. If you're ever in San Antonio look for this cozy spot and you'll be sure to become a Regular. If you'd like to take a Date for Valentine's day best get those Reservations in ASAP because it WILL be packed. Lastly their prices are Perfecto, and your Serving size might give you leftovers... which in my opinion IS AWESOME because YOU WILL be CRAVING it Again!!! I can't wait to go back and Enjoy a Tasty Meal.

This is the wonderful small business type of restaurant that I love. Smartly renovated space with a great menu with lunch specials, happy hour, mid week specials and more. But most importantly great food prepared with care. So delicious!

Great atmosphere, family friendly, and delicious food. First visit of many more to come. Very friendly staff. My kids had a great time making their own pepperoni and bacon pizza.

Really enjoyed eating here. Server was very nice and food was great. We ordered two pasta dishes and were happy with the food. Salad appetizer was good too. Happy with the prices as well. Much better priced than other Italian bistro type places. So glad the moved into the neighborhood.

This is one of the best neighborhood joints you can find with awesome happy hour specials and done if the finest food quality you can find. The Caesar salad is great with tons of fresh grated parmesan on top with one of the best dressings. It has a great Caesar flavor with a light lemon flavor. The truffle fries are great with it without the aioli and the metal sliders are really just a huge meatball inside a tiny bun topped with red sauce and cheese. Highly recommended!

Super low key spot for pizza. Everything is great but my fav is the mushroom pizza. Who ever came up with it is a genius. I hope this place stays around. Also I would like to add the music is 5 stars it's definitely a tune
