The food is great, the ice cream is amazing, and the manager is even better. Toni makes us feel like family and the atmosphere here couldn’t be better. Toni recognizes us every time we walk in and gives us such a warm welcome. I wish there were more managers like Toni. She’s the reason we keep coming back. Highly recommend this location!
We were visiting from Corpus Christi. Our home was Affected by hurricane Harvey. We always take advantage going to Freddy's when we have a chance as we do not have one back at home. The cashier at the drive thru on August 27th noticed our debit was different and asked where we were from. My husband said we were from Corpus Christi. She was so nice to ask if we were okay. I thought that was so sweet to even ask! She even offered my kids complimentary ice cream. Those kind gestures really made our day. I like to thank that women we spoke with. Although what she did was small, we really appreciated it. Our kids were so happy.
First time here n really enjoyed it food is awesome can't wait for it to come to harlingen tx but well worth the 5 hour drive to try it
Freddy's is the best place to get a frozen yogurt sundae. For just a little more than you might pay at another fast food restaurant for soft serve, you can get a chocolate or vanilla sundae with a real cherry on top and some whipped cream in addition to chocolate fudge topping. The service is not always the best-- it has been better in the past and I guess 1st time workers have moved on to other things and a new crop is training. The interior of the restaurant is aging quickly and its family story patina is starting to wear off.
Went for dinner. We ordered two meals, an order of fried pickles, onion rings, and two mini sundaes. The meals came with fries and a drink. The food was good, the french fries are not "regular" type fries. They looked like shoestring fries, but they were good. The custard sundaes were really good. The price was about $37. The atmosphere in the restaurant was nice and comfortable, staff was friendly, restaurant was clean, and the food came quickly.
I've been twice and have really enjoyed the burgers. Personally I prefer thinner beef pattis because I can always add more, vs. thick pattis where you're stuck with what you get. I'm not crazy about the fries as they're pretty thin but the onion rings were great! The service has been fast and friendly. I can't say anything as to the atmosphere inside because I've only been through the drive through.

Update: April 26th, We've been here multiple times recently and all because everything has greatly improved! The food quality is now great, the place is very clean and the staff is friendly. I believe this is because of the new manager who has done a great job. I will now increase my rating from 3 to 5 stars.
We came here for dinner tonight, October 9th. The place had only one customer, obviously not busy and every long table booth was disgusting. Food and drink residue everywhere. We used the one that was the least dirty, but unsatisfactory. Some crew member should have cleaned the tables and seats. They had plenty of time with only one customer. There were no napkins, ketchup or Freddy's Sauce anywhere. We had to ask for everything. I noticed a huge puddle of water on the floor by the Frozen Custard Freezer that was close to the register and went back to where they make ice cream cups and cones. I pointed it out to the girl behind the counter and she mentioned to the girl next to her. She said, yes she knew about it and has been cleaning it up all day. This is a huge safety risk to customers and workers. Anyone can slip and fall. I hope they tell the manager so they can get it fixed. As for the food, it was ok to decent. Not great, but we may come back. Hopefully by then the tables will be clean and condiments will be available.
It's my second time going and it's gotten better I honestly recommend it I like the way they attend the costumer's. the food is delicious. The friendliness and hospitality were the best I give All of that a 100 I'm definitely going again

The food is delicious!! The frys are very thin and the fry sauce is the best!! Their shakes are the best!! I love the berry berry strawberry shake!!! Yummy!!!

We had a very good experience. We had a very large complicated order that came out fast and correct. The burgers were great. The Fry Sauce is tasty. The staff was friendly and even delivered our food order and desserts to our table. Recommended

Stopped in the location to grab a quick bite. The staff was nice and polite, they had some pretty good tunes playing for a cool atmosphere while enjoying your meal. The food was good, Definitely recommend this location.
The beef was not tasty. I didn't have a taste at all. They provided some chili powder condiment and I added a little salt and the pickle in the burger helped. The string potatoes were the same as well. Maybe the recipe changed? I asked for a shake and was given a malt. It was good, but I only got 3/4 of the cup?
Perfect service, great smash burger, great ice cream (custard) concrete, pretty good chili-cheese fries.
10/10 will go again.
Always like Freddy's because I can have my favorite custard afterwards
