So I found out about this place from my father and let me tell you this place did not disappoint. I got 2 gorditas with picadillo and 1 with beans & cheese. They were delicious! Will definitely be going again ☺️😋
Their gorditas are northern style (baked on a comal). Their guisos (fillings) are much like the authentic Mexican food you can have in SA. Chicharron crujiente and Supreme gorditas are my favorite 😍.
Doña Totas was the main reason why I enjoyed visiting San Antonio . The gorditas are so delicious and always fresh, love how they have a wide variety of meats . Now that I live in San Antonio I try to stop by once in a while.
Omg the Gordita’s are SUPER DELICIOUS !! Highly recommend if u love GORDITAS !! Not greasy , don’t tear apart ! I love the mole ones and omg don’t even get started on the hot sauce omg !
I called ahead as these take time to prepare. It's a small Mexican cuisine place. They only specialize in gorditas. The different type of foods they put in the gorditas are very tasty and fresh!
My favorite lunch spots near work. Ieat here often. The food is fantastic and consistent. Everyone who works there is very sweet.
This is the second time that we've been there but navigator took us to a different location but, same as delicious as the other Doña Tota's we'll definitely keep going back when we visit S.A. We need one in Austin please 🙏
Great food and that tastes incredibly fresh, like in your own kitchen.
It's a good gordita but I don't like how small they are. They're loaded so you don't feel skimmed but it's just not what I'm used to.
Bought a groupon for here just to try it out. I'll definitely be back! Food is served hot and fresh and the portions are very generous. Beans are delish and barbacoa so tender. The service is also very friendly and fast! The dining area was spotless. Really enjoyed my visit, do recommend!
Doña Tota is one of my favorite places to go when I visit Monterrey Mexico, when I discovered they opened in SA I was happy, I went there for a training and visited one of the locations, I was pleased to discover that the Gorditas were exactly the same from Monterrey, recipes, ingredients and flavor
Clean with plenty of sitting. The menu is not very clear as to how to order. The staff is kind of dry, but they accept credit cards. Definitely not your grandmother's gorditas, but gets pretty close. Not fried which is how the authentic gordita need to be. Their picadillo was good needs a littl
I loved the food! It doesn't look like a lot but I didn't eat all of it. The cinnamon drink was delicious! 👍🏾👍🏾

While in SA we were craveing some Gorditas. Happened upon this spot and were not dissapointed. Although a little on the small side. They were really flavorfull. The 4 gordita w soda hit the spot. All for around 10 bucks.
