My wife and I ate here for the first time tonight. Had Alex as our waiter, and he was very nice and helpful. Got there during happy hour, so we tried the Hurricane Flight, Smash'd Margarita (Strawberry), and the Spicy Margarita (Excellent) as we waited for our food. Unlike many happy hours, these were the full-size offerings with actual alcohol in them--very tasty and great deals!
On the food front, we both ordered the Atchafalaya Catfish dinner, along with a side of mixed vegetables. We loved the taste of the catfish plates, which for us had just the right amount of spiciness with out being over the top. Really great taste.
Overall, we had a great meal with good service across the board. Really enjoyed it, and we'll definitely be back.
Oh, as we walked out I should note that we had at least 4 or 5 employees take the time to say, "Have a good night" or "Thanks for coming." That's a nice touch, and kudos to management for including that as part of the team's training. Nice first impression across the board!

I can’t believe it’s taken this long to review this place - ive been coming here for a few years and it has been my go-to spot for crab boils in SA. We started with the pick 3 appetizer and got fried okra, pickles and calamari strips. The fry on all 3 were seasoned soooo yummy, and had a nice crisp to it. both the pickles and okra was perfect. the calamari was good but a couple had a little more breading than preferred. then we got our main dish - the crab trap with cajun seasoning. Boy o boy….i was so excited for this. the crab was cooked AMAZINGLYY. the legs were so tender and i had such an easy time getting the meat out (normally i struggle). the shrimp was cooked great but there were a few i struggled peeling. the sausage had a nice spicy flavor to it and good bite. you can’t ever go wrong with boiled corn / potatoes. the seasoning was a great choice and the boil was drenched in the sauce. we also got a side of sweet potatoe fries and they were great ! the service everytime i come is quick, and the staff is very friendly / accommodating. for what it is, the prices are fair and the servings are big. we ordered this food for 3 and it was more than enough. this will always be a essential spots for a fresh, tasty boil in SA.
Best boils I’ve ever had. Spice level is great. A 5 is really a 5. I like spicy and I can’t order more than a 3. I love that they have veggies for the boil as an option. Jambalaya bites are very good and even though I drink mostly beer, I have to have their spicy margaritas every time I go. Bartenders are always nice, friendly and fast. Love the atmosphere. I go every chance I get. Sometimes more than twice a week.

M-F 3pm -6 pm. $3 Hurricanes, $3 margaritas, $3 Special Drinks ex: Old Fashioned. Hurricane or margarita flights $10 then $10 shrimp boil 😲. List goes on.
First time there & food was good service was good but holy Moly it was freezing in there but clean. Nice area with cute patio seating when it's not hot. Highly recommend.
What a joy to eat at. We went for our anniversary and went a bit overboard with our order of The Catch. But you only live once and it was so good. We had the mild boil and they brought me a hot sauce in small container for me to enjoy spicing things up. Food and service were outstanding for our anniversary
Took our son out for great meal before start of school year. Food was great, our server was attentive and personable. Its not cheap, but lots of quality food for the money.
Went with a friend and my 5 year old. This was a great place to eat. The staff was super friendly all around. The parking was difficult to find but I guess that's normal around here. I got crab cakes and they were pretty ok. The bag of food I got was awesomely flavored and cooked to perfection. I really enjoyed this as this was different than what I normally would go to.
I'm with my wife for lunch here. I love coming to this place. The servers are extremely friendly, the food is delicious. The shrimp I ordered was fresh and perfectly spiced. My wife ordered the chicken strips and they were tender and juicy, not dried out like some of the other places. We're definitely going to go back for the signature crab. A little higher on the price scale but definitely worth it for the quality of food and service they provide.
We celebrated a birthday with our family, great drinks at the bar before everyone arrived and then a fabulous, fun meal. Grandkids love tearing into the crab legs! We just love the food, service and friendly atmosphere!
Update after a 2019 horrible experience - dined in for the companies VP’s birthday. Our service was excellent! The Dungeness, King Crab, Corn, Potatoes, Clams, Shrimps, Hush Puppies, and Onion Rings were delicious!
The king crab was boiled very well to where the crab just melted in one bite.
***MILITARY DISCOUNT*** The food was delicious. We had the tons of food and everything was YUMMY😋 Our waiter was spot on and always communicated with us. If you get Alex, you are lucky! We sat outside to get a seat quicker. Nice breeze but man the flies were aggressive. If you have kids, sitting outside is a good option as they want to run around and play. If your outside they have some water features and trees that our kids loved running around and playing with the other kids. The adults watched from our seats and continued to eat our Crab😉😊
My go to for one totally awesome crab boil! I really enjoy the food shopping with the great vibe of this location. The servers are always on point and the staff is very friendly. My favorite crabs to order are the King, Dungeness, and Snow. I normally order the Trinity sauce which is perfection to the boil. It's always a bonus that they have Abita Purple Haze which is one of my favorite beers. Great eating and fun that the whole family can enjoy. Yes, it's pricey, but it's crab and that's expected. Highly recommended!!
It was a good looking place from the outside prior to walking in, with plenty of outside seating.
The manager " Derrick "( we did not know this walking in) was at the door looking area at the guess outside.
Our waitress was named
" Treasure " I called her
" Destiny " just because lol.
We ordered our choices of food.
It arrived, the family noticed the amount of food was a little lighter than normal as in " Short " not the same " amount "
Treasure took this situation to Derrick, who Promptly came to our table, gave a look at the amount of food in the bowl.
He offered the reasons as to why it was so, & said he would take care of the situation.
We ordered a lobster 🦞 tail roll $$$$$. As well.
At the end of the day. The food was good.

Delicious! We ordered the oysters, char grilled oysters and calamari as appetizers.. calamari wasn't amazing, would definitely pass on that next time. Then i ordered the perfect storm as my main course and it was great, i got #2 spice and the trinity sauce. Definitely could be shared between multiple people, probably wont do this to myself again hahaha.. overall a good experience and wonderful servers.
First time here and we had a great meal. Service was outstanding. The fried basket was really good. Dipping sauces were good too. My only complaint would be the I was given 2 tiny clusters of snow crab along with 3 regular size ones. If you pay over 30 bucks a pound you should get some meat with it, not just shell. Then you have to pay extra for corn, potatoes, and sausage. Other than that, it's worth going.
Great place for a great seafood boil. Cheaper than we expected, but worth more than every penny. Our server, Ben, was great, and the atmosphere was pretty good for the time we went (around 6 or 7 pm on a Sunday). We will definitely be returning in the near future.
Been coming here for years food has always been great place to eat. It’s seafood so can be pricey but worth it. If you go you should try the gumbo I always get it. Staff friendly outdoor seating as well. Kids menu with options and good fries. A must go to and recommend
