Came to town for the weekend, ran into this spot. I enjoyed it! My kind of place to chill, relax, enjoy the weather, drink some drinks, bring my dog and have a taco!! Keep tacos alive!!
I hosted our company's quarterly social at Viva Tacoland and I must say everyone along with myself loved it! Great service, good food & drinks and the best views on the river. Thanks again for making it a great time. We will be back!
Super fun place to go. Good live music and most of the bartenders are friendly and nice. Food is good so is the service. Great place to meet up with friends after work.
Great adult restaurant. The food and drinks were excellent. The artwork that was showcased and the games were awesome. I was in town for a friends birthday/girl's trip and it was the perfect place to catch up, socialize and enjoy great music. I would definitely come back again. Thanks for the memories!

If you are in San Antonio and would like an authentic experience, this is the place to go. An outside only experience with lights surrounding the entire property. Amazing nachos and tacos. Live bands at night.
Toward the end of our Saturday night Birthday celebration we stopped at Viva Tacoland and the bartender was great! Quick service and a hilarious guy (even though he didn't have any Doritos or Funyuns 😜). We had a lot of fun sitting at his bar and would absolutely stop in again!!

Always delicious food, and the staff is always courteous and helpful. Haven't ordered anything that I wouldn't order again.
I absolutely loved it!!!! Food was good, live music was fun, the bartenders were super nice and the place is pet friendly which was perfect for me and my lil 4 legged girl

The night party we went to, thrown by Vibe With Me, was fantastic. Great music, good sound, unique venue and experience. The bar got a bit backed up but it wasn't too bad.
We came the morning after to pick up a card we left and grab food. It took 45 minutes or so to get our food, including 30 minutes to get our queso, which didn't even come until we asked. We got some complimentary guac from the very nice manager as an apology, which was appreciated, but in the end we were the only customers and it took way too long to get only decent food. I'll come back to party, but not to eat.
Great ,home vibe chill atmosphere. Tacos are on point with super simple menu annnnd 5.00 beer n Shot..... I like that as an artist/entrepreneur they support that and allow me to set up and share my art..music playlist and live music always rockn....Shout out to the cute female bartender with glasses for hooking me up with that Coke Cola ,I needed that lol.....Stop by say Hi.....
Beautiful place near the river. Easy to find parking. This place is even better in the night: people, lights and the river make it a really nice place to chill out with friends.
Hip and cool place to have a beer. I didn’t try the food but the menu options looked appetizing, there are vegan options as well. The art at the restaurant definitely gives it an edge, in a good way. Great place!

Great spot to drop in and grab a beer on a weekend afternoon. Good selection of brews. They have a kitchen and the occasional food truck.
Love this local bar! Close enough for us to ride our bikes to but if we drive we usually find nearby parking. Great views, drinks and service. They're now serving food too! My only complaint were that the tacos were too spicy (they made the beans spicy so there was no getting around that) and because the bar is mostly outdoors people can smoke out there. Otherwise this is a great neighborhood bar and I highly recommend it!
Cool spot to grab a quick bite while staying in town. Food was generally pretty tasty. Not the best Mexican I’ve had but good enough for the happy hour prices - tacos are only $2 on Tuesday. Margaritas were good, but I forgot to ask for no salt so that spoiled mine. I enjoy the rock music playing the night I was there. All in all, a good vibe and pretty decent food.
I’ve been coming here for the past couple of years and I’ve never really experienced a bad time here. Friendly people and best of all pet friendly too! Decent music played most of the time and every now and then a live band. Great place for medium crowds or just a couple of friends looking to hang out. I would post pics but there are plenty that get the point across. Have fun!!
A cool hidden gem! Good beer list good food menu. I was visiting San Antonio , and was taken there by locals. This is an outdoor place so do not expect white table cloth service. The kitchen service is somewhat slow but our waitress was great.

This review is for the new location on the River Walk. This is a laid back bar where one can easily converse with the excellent bartenders or the patrons that are beside you. The drink selections are left to the imagination and are PLENTIFUL. If you are of age and visiting the River Walk in SATX I recommend this pit stop. Karen & Jefferson were awesome!
My favorite spot in San Antonio. Great drink specials and tasty tacos. We come here as a group, usually more than 40 at a time, and they do great taking care of us. We personally love the giant nacho tray, chicken for me, but you can get beef and chorizo as well.
Great spot to drink tequilas and get rowdy & excessively loud with your platoon. Also good for quite reflection time over a cold beer as you overlook the riverfront and contemplate life choices/failed marriage. Very close to the Pearl. Outdoor fire pit, live music/great DJs.
Neat little joint. On food and drinks I would have given them just 3 stars as there was 2 things they need to do differently for me to be any kind of a fan. 1st served the tacos with a lime wedge and 2nd not dipped the margarita glass in lime juice before salting the rim, far too much salt ended up in my drink ruining it, please just use a lime wedge around the outside of the glass rim.
Four stars because the bartender was super cool and took his time to have a brief but polite conversation with you while ordering. Will I go back, probably and I will ask for both of my 'complaints' to be corrected to my preferences when ordering next time, hopefully that gets them five stars next time!
Love Tacoland, had some great experiences here. They have some great cocktails and beer. If you're looking for a bar near the pearl you have to check it out. I'd consider it more of a dive bar but the pricing is fair and the usually have some great local beer on tap.
