My family and I went to the rosebush on Saturday March 31st and were very pleased. We're big fans since last year when we ate there for the first time ever. Totally recommend the large Malik philly sandwich with cheese whiz and an order of the cheesy ranch bacon fries. OMG!
P.S. my son always takes his basketball to play there and the one you guys have there is stuck under the king crab food truck.
Had the basic cheese steak with mushrooms and mozzarella. Really outstanding flavor. Cute eating area. Highly recommend
This was our first time here and by far the best! Everything was amazing! Props to the cooks and the lady who took our order. It took awhile for the order to come out, we didn't mind, there was awesome music, nice environment to be with the little family. Time passed. We loved how the food came out hot and fresh! Thanks guys for a great experience.
Everything was freshly grilled! The bun was toasted not soggy! It needed no dressing! It was delicious! The cashier/order taker was friendly and patient! I felt welcomed and would recommend this to anyone who loves cheesesteaks!

Not bad at all. How many places sell cheesesteaks that are "Philly" cheesesteaks? A handful maybe? Tried them out on their first day and they knocked it out! Ordered an Original Philly with cheese-wiz...I got it, then noticed my hands were messy with cheese-wiz but my cheesesteak was gone. I think i ate it, my stomach was full. I was so hungry I should have slowed down and enjoyed it more. This only means a return visit to get another one! Check them out on facebook and twitter to see where they will be next.
I had to try this spot because I heard the Philly cheesesteak is fire… and I have to say it’s very good (better than the ones I’ve had in Philly). I like that i can order at a kiosk but the employees came out to check in with us. We started with the parmesan fries - they tasted very fresh and the seasoning was yummy but I prefer crispier fries. My daughter loved the cheese sauce. We all got the original, it is loaded with well-seasoned shaved meat and sautéed onions. Next time I’ll likely add more cheese on top because I like it cheesy.
Coming to the rose bush food park was refreshing you can have the best of both worlds inside a/c and sunshine! As well as Cheesesteaks, Ramen, Wings, Seafood. We ate at Maliks Phillycheeseteaks ! Was very delicious and Vince was a very nice and informative about the menu as Abel executed a perfect Malik Phillycheesesteak you gotta try the sandwich with the wiz sauce excellent compliment i wish i wouldve thrown it on the whole sandwich but was nervous cause im not used to wiz sauce but i def didnt regret it actually craved more! We also had a side of the bomb parm n herbs fries! Which go well with a side of ranch! Def will recommend this to friends and family , and to you guys on Google reviews ! Come check it out here at the rose bush bar where you can bring all friends and get all flavors in!
Up the street working decided to drop in and grab a sandwich steak bacon ranch deliciousness!!! There’s a couple more food trucks I wasn’t sure it they were open. You can sit out side or inside the building inside cool ac flat screens clean restroom and there’s a sign byob I’ll definitely be back !
Went for family dinner and to try something new for everyone. Got the Malik, Bacon Ranch, Philadelphia, and a cheese pie for the kiddo. Price point seems high but after receiving the food it’s well worth it. Meat portions were huge and nobody left hungry. Also ordered the herb parm fries.
If you've ever had a Philly cheesesteak you know their good. But at Maliks, dang son. I just can't explain.
I ordered an original with extra cheese and added jalapeños. It did not disappoint.
Came out pretty quick too.
Also had an order of their bacon ranch fries. Get you some cause you don't wanna most out on that.
If you haven’t been here you’re missing out! The wife and I got the Malik and philadelphian. Along with some regular fries. This place is BYOB and had a great vibe. There was 3 open trucks so I need to go back and check them out. Everyone there knew the drill and brought their coolers. Bring your beers, wine, or booze and grab a picnic table and order yourself some Malik’s! It was incredible. The bread was perfect, cheese was gooey, mushrooms were perfect! I asked for extra ketchup and they delivered (May seem small, but I swear people just don’t listen, but these guys do! ) ENJOY.
Food was excellent and hot, we didn’t have to wait long at all. I would highly recommend coming here.

This place is really far from where I live, and I went at 10PM on Saturday evening. The staff are super awesome, and I would come back again just based on how friendly and helpful they were! They were super patient with first time patrons as well.
I dig the food truck vibe they have, and they were blasting some nice 90’s R&B. There is outdoor seating and indoor seating. It was surprisingly pleasant outside so that’s where we sat. I ordered the Original Philly, no green peppers add lettuce, tomato, Mayo. They have zero issue accommodating customizations. My gf ordered the Cheesesteak salad and we shared a large order of Parm and Herb Fries. She also got a Mango Philly Water Ice with Chamoy.
The service was very fast, and the food was piping hot. My sandwich was spot on and took me back to my visits to Philly, eating Pats and Gino’s, and Tony Luke’s. The salad was good and the fries were legit. They provided dipping sauces for the fires as well. My gf love me the Mango Philly Water Ice. All in all it was a good experience and I may end up trying the one closer to the house. Good food and good vibes, and a great place for late night and after party munchies.

We went to the Area 51 food park location. These cheesesteaks were so yummy. I personally would have liked more sauce on the Bacon Ranch Philly but that is the only thing I would change. The ingredients were evenly distributed and the meat was tender. On top of it all the staff was very helpful and nice. The guy helping gave recommendations and plenty of time for us to decide what we wanted. The wait time was a little long but completely worth it. I would recommend this place to anyone. Just know if you do go to this location it has very limited parking.
Great food. This is my first time stopping into get a Philly steak to satisfy my craving... I have to say craving satisfied! The people were very pleasant and the food was done on time based on online order. Their website is great for placing pick up orders. We had the regular fries, a Malik steak, and the regular Philly. Great quality! The kitty in the picture is one of theirs they help strays which is such an amazing thing. She was so sweet!
Food truck spot so nothing glam,they do have a indoor sitting area beside the food trucks it's cooler and keeps the outdoor flies away. The food is prepared to order and is delicious. A must go if your in SATX.
Did not realize this was at an indoor/outdoor seating, BYOB, food truck pavilion. The parking was difficult and there's towing warning signs everywhere. Malik's was the largest food truck here by far and at 3pm on a Sunday was fast and delicious. I had the original Philly steak with mozzarella added and it made commercial quality cheese pulls with every bite and had a great flavor. Meat was moist without being wet. My son had the pizza style chicken Philly and said it was great and had a little kick to it. Would absolutely come back when on the east side of town. It was chilly outside so we ate indoors and there was plenty of seating.
