Oh my Trices! Let me just start with, I’ve never tried this culture of food before, and boy am I mad that I didn’t try it sooner. I’ve always been interested but haven’t found many places near me where they serve this type of cuisine. I am from out of town so when I did go home, I tried to search fo
First time eating African cuisine. They made the experience was worth it. I was a little upset but it was my fault. The Egusi w/ beef and FuFu I ordered has shrimp paste in it. I'm allergic to shellfish. So me and my wife switched plates. We enjoyed the food will definitely come back. Thanks Trices
I dined in at Trices for the first time. It was very peaceful because I was the only person in the restaurant. I didn’t have to wait a long time to be served. Rotimi was very pleasant. I ordered egusi with chicken and white rice. The egusi didn’t have the acquired taste that I’m familiar with but
The food was decent, although maybe more of an acquired taste for me. The fufu is definitely something different than what I'm used to but fun and worth a try! The portions are pretty small for the prices for sure. The customer service was good and I'll definitely be back to try some new things.
My grandma used to tell me stories about her visits to Africa and how good Fufu was so I decided to find out for myself. My girlfriend and I made the trip across San Antonio and when we made it to Trices, we were sat right away. The staff greeted us quickly and took our order shortly after. The food
I ordered the Nigerian Jollof Rice with Chicken. It was one of the best dishes I’ve had in San Antonio. I could taste the effort that was put in the food and it was a dish I would have again from this restaurant.
The owner is super nice and food was like nothing I ever tasted. We hung out at the bar after dinner and it was also a fantastic atmosphere. I highly recommend both the restaurant and bar
The jollof rice , chicken n plaintain plates was absoluently delicious!!!! I enjoy it very much. This a great spot to sabor traditional Nigerian cuisine @ a affordable price.
Great food wonderful service. Martin was really nice and gave us some complementary chinchin. Cleanest African restaurant I have been to in the US. The portion sizes are too much for a single person. Great ambience great food we will definitely be back.
The goat meat pepper soup is my favorite. I haven’t had it inside the restaurant, but I always order it to eat at home and it’s been a hit every time! Definitely worth it!
This was our first experience eating Nigerian food. Martin guided us through our journey and helped us to select a nice sampling of flavors. The food was wonderful and very fresh. This was a great experience and we highly recommend it! Ask for Martin when you go. He will take excellent care of you!
Came for the open mic night. My 1st outing in SATX! The owner is so nice, attentive and thoughtful. Cool vibes and it was a good time!
Food was GREAT , Hot cooked to order and seasoned . Portion side I got left overs for later.
Stopped in and picked up food to go. Food and service were fantastic! Food was ready rather quickly, will definitely be back to dine in. Atmosphere was chill nothing fancy, music was playing and kept atmosphere light. You gotta give this place a try!
We recently relocated NC and are new to the area. We quickly found this gem of a place and now we can't stop going! The dinner plates are delicious!!! We've had the coconut, jollof and shrimp fried rice! The chicken, goat and assorted meats are authentic and taste like Nigeria!!! This is our new pla
The food is good but make sure you find out if it’s spicy or not cause some are spiced really good
