We have six kids ranging from 9 to 18, and this is one of the few places everybody agrees on! Great food, great service, and never so packed that we have to wait around to be served.

San Antonio has a lot of really good restaurants, but what I really love about Yummy is how sweet and kind the owner is. He really seems to take pride in his business and cares about even how you found Yummi. The teriyaki chicken is really good and we had a spicy roll (I cannot remember the name) that was really spicy (I use ghost pepper powder on everything to give you an idea). The pricing is really reasonable and the portions are large so keep that in mind that you'll have leftovers. There was low lighting and had a calm atmosphere, people were eating alone and working on their laptops as well. The owner also gave us hot tea in to go cups, which I really appreciated.
Came here after a day of deciding where to eat in the area. The restaurant is clean and has a good ambiance. There is a soothing instrumental tune playing as you eat. The menu is varied and it includes several traditional dishes. They do serve complementary miso soup (tofu).
The rolls and the nigiri were excellent and made fresh. There are several things I got to try but did not get pictures of.
Service is excellent with our waitress always available and ready to help with any questions we had. There is a happy hour where most of their rolls are 50% off and there is also a all you can eat day (Tuesday) for those who want more sushi rolls

Every bite was as good as the first, def a must try if you are in the area. Service - phenomenal. We got the Las Vegas roll and the Godzilla. Both were fantastic, the crab was huge on the Godzilla! And super crunchy. My taste buds were blown away, didn’t even have to use soy sauce, wasabi and ginger to compliment, was really great without anything. Great Job Yummi!
This is the place to get date night sushi in SanAntonio. Recently went with my girlfriend and had an amazing experience. Great good and amazing service. I definitely recommend the Las Vegas roll! 10/10 would recommend and we will be back!
Ate for lunch and had the Bento Box combo and a sushi combo... We also ordered an extra roll... Everything was really good!
Very good service and it wasn’t too busy as we went for lunch on a Tuesday afternoon. Nigiri Sushi was good. Spicy tuna tacos was the highlight for me, and my 17 year old inhaled the shrimp and vegetable tempura combo.
Great sushi and it’s reasonably priced. Owner is very nice and the staff were friendly and attentive! Highly recommend!

So where do I start? I decided to go to this Japanese place for my birthday, and boy I was not sorry! The chicken katsu had so much flavor and the sushi were tremendous! It's a little hidden but despite that it was the best Japanese restaurant I have ever been to!
Came here for the first time with ym girlfriend. It's a usual spot for her, so had to check it out. Definitely it was 100 percent worth it.
First off, there was only 2 other tables with customers eating, and lots of take out orders(which is awesome I love that so many people are doing that and it tells you the food is good already)

I used to live in Japan so I'm very picky with sushi, but this was perfect. Very affordable, fresh, and pictures worthy.

Getting ready to leave San Antonio and needing to charge Tessie, we decided to go to Yummi’s on a whim. It was truly the best decision. Our waiter, Nath, was such a helpful and attentive young man. The tempura shrimp and mixed vegetables were on point. Ed had the Las Vegas roll which was so fresh and chilled to perfection. I had the cucumber Paradise which can only be described by the word summer. It, of course, was fresh and chilled but light, crisp and so tasty. This place is going down as a must do every time we come to San Antonio.
The sushi rolls were great! It was the perfect portions of food. The cucumber paradise roll was light and summery. The spider roll was really flavorful. There was a mango roll on the menu we will be back to try soon!
I cannot believe I waited this long to try Yummi! I was craving sushi and decided to order their Combo 4 Lunch which contains a 5 piece nigiri and a 6 piece sashimi served over a bed of sushi rice, it came with spring rolls and a side salad and miso soup too. As you can see in my attached picture, they do not skim on their sushi, and it’s arranged to be so aesthetically pleasing. I really enjoyed this bento 🍱, as it was filling and so delicious. I look forward to going back soon!

My favorite sushi restaurant by far! They have a great happy hour, the service is always great, and sushi is awesome! My favorite is the yummi dynamite roll. Quick service and friendly faces make this place my absolute favorite.
