When you first walk in, you think you've made a huge mistake. The place looks like a third world slop trough.
But you notice the patrons are looking happy, the place seems lively and then you just might find a couple of employees eating at a table in the corner.
So you choke back your apprehensions and place your order. Which may take a minute as the options are widely varied and somewhat surprising. When your order arrives you're immediately surprised at how everything looks somebody's mom made it. Not a commercial assembly line. A neighborhood kitchen. Made with love and heart. And then you get started. Inexplicably it tastes even better than it looks. And just keeps getting better with every bite. The portions are generous, the ingredients fresh and prepared with care.
Clearly the people that work here eat here for a reason. And you know you'll be coming back. Soon.

This is a fantastic spot. This was my first time here, and we had to order the food to go because we had other appointments to attend to. The restaurant was busy but very clean. They scored a 100 on their inspection. My partner and I both ordered the fish sandwich with fries and I wish I had taken a picture but couldn't wait to eat as soon as we got home. I had to smell the food in the car and there was no way I was going to wait any longer to eat. It was a large sandwich, the fish batter was crispy and flavorful. They gave us both a large cut of fish, it was bigger than the bun. Definitely a great value at an excellent price. I look forward to returning to dine in and try other items on their menu. I'll make sure to take some pictures then.
A lil mom and pop seafood restaurant. Filled with fried deliciousness. Great service, good atmosphere, delicious food. Yes. Very Delicious and if we're ever in town again. We got to remember this place.
The Ceviche on the tostada is primarily meat, so it does taste more fishy and less taste of onion and tomato, if you like that. The Mexican shrimp cocktail is good, the sauce does have a kick to it and you start to feel it when eating it fast.
Small Ocean decorated restaurant. I do enjoy their fish and shrimp special. My husband didn't care too much for the cocktail as it's liquidy but it did have good flavor & big portion . We tend to like the thicker version of the MX cocktail. Service has been quick and very nice.
Cost:Shrimp Cocktail , Fish Sandwich w/gumbo, shrimp& fish special , a fish plate & 3 drinks was $50. 😁
First time I visit the place and I found a pearl in my oysters! 😁 Fish is really good too. I love their jumbo shrimp and ceviche.
The food was amazing, all the staff were polite and very helpful. 10/10 would recommend!!! The food was well prepared and tasted delicious. Love the hush puppies. Great tunes as well, love the classics.
Excellent place for families, pretty good amount of room! To-,go-orders are super quick! I've taken my family, my mother's, my Tia's. Delicious good! Great portions! Super friendly staff! Great location! I love this place.
My brother Rosendo and I always order from here and it NEVER disappoints. I have been going here for over 2 years now and the menu is the same with the same tasty food. A MUST TRY!!
(04-15-2022) The Lighthouse Seafood. I had the shrimp fish soup. It was very good. In my opinion it was comfort soup. To drink I had a lemonade and it was excellent. The building is small so get there early to get a table. They had 12 tables there and a flat screen t.v. If we're in the area, we'll stop and eat.
One of my favorite spots! Their green veggies are hot and taste fresh. The fish and shrimp tasted GREAT! Definitely cheaper than the other spots in town, and they also have similar sized portions. Super nice staff and good food will bring me back all the time. I've hit them up many times during the pandemic. Go pay them a visit!

Well i am from corpus christi.....so guess what! Boat Net is my favorite fish restaurant. I am very picky..and i fish if it fresh i wont eat it..this place Its very nostalga old building. Keeping this place simple, simple tables. But what counts is the food. The fish is great shrimp passes. For it is shrimp.. Cole slaw is just cole slaw but i will come and try everything else. Its rather high price. $12 to$ 25 dollers a plate depending on what you get but the #1 meal was pefect i am so full... now stuffed and full...i will come back...they only have cans sodas and ice tea...they give u plenty of tarter sauce and 1 lemon.
