Breakfast: Fresh and really good food. It was not on the menu, but the waitress Mari knew exactly what I was asking when I wanted Migas al la Mexicana. The chips were crispy and vegetables were fresh. Excellent!!! It's been a long time since I had migas this good. Refried beans tasted as if they just smashed them. Potatoes were crisp on the outside and soft inside great flavor as if cooked with new oil. Bakery items were very hard to resist. They all looked so so yummy. Service was excellent. Thank you Mari it was a pleasure. If your looking for a great breakfast this is a great place to visit. I will be visiting this restaurant again πβΊοΈ

Yummy food with lots of options. Fast service, which makes it a great place for lunch. The prices are a little bit higher than similar restaurants. There's also an amazing array of pastries π° π
The building looks like it needs some attention but there is nothing that is critical or dangerous. There is outdoor seating so you can bring your pets. A bar in the front and a sweet bread store in the building. The serving size is generous and hot. The spicy foods are what you would expect in San Antonio including the complimentary chips and hot sauce. They use REAL cheese with fresh ingredients in the food and tortillas, both flour and corn. The staff is proactive and attentive. Most platters will run $11.95-13.95. You will most definitely feel that your money was well spent. The bread store is good as long as you get one or two items. If you need more it would be better to go to a dedicated Mexican bread store. The pricing is premium range for the sweet bread.
Good food. Great service. I reserve 5 stars for someplace Iβve never experienced that is beyond my expectations ;) this is a good place to eat! Reasonable prices.
We went for breakfast at this restaurant. The service was fast and friendly. I ordered the pork chop plate. The pork chops were tender and with good flavor. The portions were well served. The tortillas were freshly made. The prices were reasonable.
Everything on the menu is consistently very good. Tortillas are homemade and very tasty. An extra benefit of this location is they have a whole baked goods counter where you can purchase homemade baked goods right there at the restaurant. Their breakfast, potatoes are fantastic and one of a kind in San Antonio.
The food here is great. This neighborhood restaurant has been a staple in addition to my up bringing. The people here have been great. A friend and I have breakfast and or lunch every other day. I recommend the Puffy Taco plate.
Me and my husband came here a few weeks ago to attend a big dinner party event with a group. Some of the members of the group, myself included, are vegans/vegetarians. The rest are not. But the restaurant offered us the most delicious nonmeat entrees!! Chips and salsa, potato and carrot enchiladas, mushrooms, rice, beans, guacamole and salad! So good! My husband (not vegan) also got to enjoy a huge meat filled skillet I believe called a parallada? He enjoyed his food as well! We will definitely be back because this is a place we can both go and enjoy the food together even though I don't eat meat. Thank you for serving us such delicious foods!!

Mari was extremely helpful. Food was excellent also. Red salsa was just ok, green was better but still not as hot as we like. Didnt see an option for pickled or fried jalapenos. That would have been good. No complaints though. Yes, we shall return. Special thx to Mari for splitting out taco plate. Great idea
Delicious food! Very nice staff. Nice atmosphere, felt like we were in the movie Encanto :)We did not take long to be served. Homemade corn tortillas were off the chain!! Yum yum and YUM!!
Prices have got a bit high but food still really good and staff is very nice
Stars are for food. Service was good. Caldo was really strong tasty of garlic and not hot when I received it.(7.99) Complementary chips and salsa. Wheelchair entrance. Bathrooms are clean. Full bar. Bakery for Mexican style baked goods. I'd give it another try.

I come here atleast 3-4 times a month. And have never been disappointed. It is a go to must if you're in the area.

It's like having breakfast with family, good food, good prices, very nice staff! Daughter had the caldo de gallina, which is chicken soup and I got a barbacoa taco and a chorizo and bean. So good, I went Sunday and got a carne quisada taco and there best coffee in town, yum yum!
Huge gorditas. Good flavor.
Bakery is delicious as well. They let me order a beef and a chicken one so I could try them both.
