Delicious Tex-mex food here. My wife loves the cheese enchiladas. The service is fast, the staff is friendly and hard working, and the food is served fresh, hot, and delicious.
Still the same great food. The last time I was at BC was when they were on Blanco and Oblate. I was driving one day and saw there sign and had to stop. Very busy as it was back then and the food is still good. Maybe not like it was back in the 2000 but much changes in 23 yrs. If you want good f
I read positive reviews for this place so I decided to try it for lunch. The staff was very friendly and the restaurant was busy. My server was very nice and attentive. I ordered the Enchiladas Verdes. The food was hot and fresh, but I feel like the Verde sauce was missing something. The picante had
Great enchilada plate that included a chalupa! Rice and beans were good!
My favorite, caldo de res, was delicious! And the serving bowl is a very generous helping.
The cheese enchiladas here are great! The server could have been a little more attentive, but they were very busy. Still no excuse not to check on your table. However, the food is very delicious.
It had been much too long since I had visited Blanco Cafe. I was in San Antonio for a long weekend and decided it was time for a visit. While growing up in San Antonio, going to The Blanco Cafe on Blanco road was a frequent treat. It was always the same lunch, excellent creamy cheese enchiladas with
Everything is good here. The tacos are great tasting, tortillas homemade made, tea is always fresh, enchiladas are great and service is prompt, one of my favorite go to places. Love their carne guisada tacos and bean and cheese with bacon tacos, the bacon is that thick hearty type, not those thin
I had the carne guisada plate, did not feel like eating rice so got extra beans. The tortillas were fantastic. My friend was super hungry so he had the enchilada's plate, plus a side plate of a crispy taco and a chalupa. We had a great meal.
This old building speaks volumes as it is surrounded by steel and glass medical facilities. The Original location still wins with what they promise. Must try : Huevos Rancheros...over medium bacon..salsa on top..flour tortillas. Must Try : Sopa de Res.. huge chunks w corn tortillas.. lots of eve
Very busy, but I didn't have to wait long to get my food . The waitresses did a great job on keeping up with everyone and never made me ask for a refill on my coffee or anything else. The enchilada plate #3 was delicious and All the sides were good as well. I will definitely be back by when I am
Busy friendly staff, basic tacos were good. Tortillas are perfectly made. Restaurant is very clean and they keep tables clean. Wiping down tables after every customer. Sanitizer at entrance of restaurant.
ABSOLUTELY THE BEST ENCHILADAS YOU WILL HAVE IN ALL SAN ANTONIO FOR DECADES DON’T CONFUSE ORIGINAL BLANCOS WITH Blancos café on blanco rd. Big difference. Original Blancos on Fredericksburg Rd is the best one. HANDS DOWN. I’ve eaten with my 82 year old mother in many restaurants and ORIGINAL BLANC
