I originally came to try the pastor tacos but I didn’t realize they only serve it on certain days. I was so disappointed. I wanted to leave but decided to try something since I was already here. To my surprise, the tacos were absolutely delicious. The meats were juicy and tender. I ordered the Bistec and lengua. I enjoyed the lengua more than the Bistec. Now that I know their other tacos are good, I am so excited to come back and try their pastor. Loveee that they included grilled onions and radish on the side

One of my favorite places to get mini tacos! Go on the weekends if possible to get al pastor for your protein. You can get plain but better with cilantro and onions along with grilled onions, cucumbers, radishes and limes. The hot sauces both red and green are hot but very good! A lot of people don’t know that they also serve quesadillas filled with your favorite meat and tortas! Grab a Jarritos or Aguas Fresca to get a well rounded experience.

Legit tacos. Back in 1998 we lived in Mexico and would sit and eat 30 of these at a time. Felt like I was back there again. Al Pastor for life! So good! Clean restrooms, friendly fast service. All walks of life enjoying tacos here. Don’t forget to visit the bakery next door!

Looking for food leaving Cowboys and this was the place we stumbled upon. The tacos were some of the most authentic mini street tacos I’ve ever had in San Antonio. We went back for 2nds.

First time visiting this location. Long time customer of West Ave location. Taquitos were great. Meat was flavorful and juicy. Lemonade was on spot. As good as the other location

Great place for a late late late night easy meal. Fast freshly made small tacos. Service is very friendly and attentive. Very affordable and clean. The flan dessert was delicious. There is bakery next door. Parking is right in front.

Found this place while looking for some authentic street tacos. There's a few places on Nacogdoches, but this place caught my attention. Came on a Saturday evening, so it was pretty crowded and there was a line of about 15 people. However, line moves very quickly and tables are immediately cleaned as soon as the party leaves. It was a very efficient system. I was worried about not having a table when I placed my order, but there were a few open tables. As far as the food, they have a very simple menu focusing on their core ingredients. The choices are tacos, tortas, and quesadillas. Regardless of the style, the meat choices are bistek, tripas, cabeza, lengua, suadero, chorizo, and al pastor (Thursday - Sunday). You order at the counter and it's immediately made. All the ingredients are ready, so your order is ready within 30 seconds as they were very fast. I tried different combinations on different trips, but my favorite were the tacos since I could taste more of the meat. Of the meats, my favorites were the bistek, al pastor, and suadero. However, you can't go wrong with any combination. The meats were amazingly delicious and the tacos were served with onions, cilantro, cucumbers, radish, and limes. There's 3 different hot sauces on the table and they all had a nice kick, but wasn't overwhelming. Get ready to get a little messy and enjoy these tacos. Ordered a few empanadas to go at the register and they were good as well.

I think we made a mistake by coming towards the end of the week so the al pastor wasn't as amazing as we had at the other location, but nothing was horrible. The price was right for the amount of food and it's definitely a great experience!

What a great find. We really love this place. The pastor tacos were absolutely on point. We tried several others but the pastor were fantastic with a little piece of pineapple onion and cilantro it's truly a classic Street taco. The service was super helpful and took time explaining all of the things we didn't understand. If you're looking for that authentic Mexican taste this is where you'll find it.

Just delicious street style tacos! In 18 years, it’s the first time that my daughter tries pork; and she loved it. We will definitely go back. Prices are also very reasonable.
