I have seen it before and honestly I didn't think it was still open. But thankfully they are and it was worth it. I thoroughly enjoyed the meal and the experience. The service was great and there is video instruction on how to properly eat an Ethiopian meal! I tried not to get to many X's. This is f
Everything was delicious. Came for a quick light bite before my daily run and ran into this spot with its great reviews. Definitely gonna come back with my family. I ordered the cabbage, vegetable soup and baklava for dessert. The cabbage 😋 Everything was mouthwatering!
Absolutely incredible Ethiopian restaurant! This is our go to in San Antonio Ethiopian food is something that everyone should experience. It’s a communal style eating, where you share multiple little plates with the ones you are eating with. The injera bread is what you use to pick up the differen
Rehoboth looks like a tiny hole in the wall when you drive up but once inside it feels quite large. There is plenty of searching even with a little social distancing. The service is excellent. The wait staff were very attentive but not hovering. There food, as expected was great. We shared a ve
Very unique and flavorful food worth experiencing at least once in your life. I’ve never had Ethiopian food and ordered the sampler which was huge & enough to have feed 4 people easily. This sampler also cane with 2 tea drinks. They also have a kids section in case the little ones are not quite adve
My husband and I enjoy Ethiopian food and we were thrilled to find this wonderful place. The food was excellent, the service great, it was super clean with an A+ rating from the city. The beef ribs were outstanding and their home made injera bread was amazing. I hope more people in San Antonio ex
Some of the best food I’ve tasted in San Antonio. We had a vegetarian combo and also a meat combo so we could try different foods. So delicious and could feed 3. Must try the cabbage (Alicha Kawlo), alicha chicken, and the chocolate cake 🤤
It was my first visit and I really enjoyed it! This lovely charming restaurant is located at the intersection of Babcock and Callenhan, with ample free parking. We ordered #33 to share. The appetizer was OK. The three dishes were very yummy with the bread, which was made of teff. The big round pla
Very nice Ethiopian-Erythrean restaurant, the only one of its kind in San Antonio and a very good one. Actually, the food tasted more like what I had in South Africa than at Ethiopian Cuisine in Austin, spicier and with that distinctive African interpretation of Indian spices. Friendly staff, nice
We tried Ethiopian for the first time and it was amazing! Delicious vegan meal, spicy and full of flavor. And so many options for meat eaters & veggies alike! My brother in law got the goat kilkil and said it was "very very good". Also tried the veggie and meat Sambusas, yummy! We will come back aga
We had heard so many good things about this place. We went with their suggestion and tried the vegan meal for first timers and it was delicious. Will definitely come back! Thank you so much for the amazing meal!
We've been here a couple of times before and have enjoyed the food every time. My first time to have Ethiopian food was in Washington, DC many years ago so I was excited when we found this place. The Ethiopian coffee (jebena) is pretty strong if you drink it black. I liked it with cream. Today we h
Happy to support a local business! Came here for my birthday with family. Shared a delicious vegan plate and walked away with a full belly. The staff was kind, helpful and accommodating.
The food was fresh and delicious. Sambusa Vegan, Sambusa Meat, Chicken Tibsi, Veggie Combo, Honey Wine. You won't be disappointed.
A very interesting, tasty experience. Eating with your hands is a little weird, but we craftily overcame that with pita chips and bread. It was a quiet and lovely Valentines dinner, I recommend it.
I took my wife to this place after being recommended by a friend. I was happy to see that they have a buffet during weekdays, which would allow me to try many different dishes at once. The service was welcoming and friendly. The flavors of the food were tasty and delicious.
I've read great reviews about this restaurant on Yelp, and I've never had Eritrean-Ethiopian food before so of course I had to eat here! My boyfriend and I came here for dinner on a Thursday night and it was a bit busy. We decided to order the veggie Sambusa to start our meal. There were 2 sambusas
The awaze tibsi (lamb in veggies) and habesha tea were good. There seemed to be some miscommunication issues. They served us the wrong portion size for one dish and waited a long time to tell us they were out of a tea we ordered.
