Great food and service. First off, they have crispy dogs, so that's a huge positive. First time having one and I need to have them more. The cheesy dog inside a tortilla is so simple, but it really hit the spot. Had it with some mustard. The chili cheeseburger and onion rings were also very tasty. T
Excellent burgers but wanted something light, so I opted for crispy dogs. Deep fried Wiener & cheese wrapped on corn tortilla. Plus a squirt of mustard. Hit the spot!

First time eating Gyros Drive Inn on Nogalitos. I ordered pick up for lunch and tried the bacon cheeseburger combo. It came with fries and a cold canned soda. It was excellent 👌 the burger was juicy and hot, tasted like a good old fashioned burger should. Definitely beats the chain burger restaurant

You walk in and you are greeted by the waitress. You put in your order, and everything is brought out to you fresh. Best fish in Town. Parking is great and if you don't want to eat there they have an outside to go. I recommend this restaurant to anybody who loves fish.

I love this place. It's a hidden classic diner. Really good lunch specials. So many options you can order nice and hot. Get crispy dogs and a order of onion rings or a seafood platter. My pops really likes the chicken fried steak. Everything is always hot.
Stopped in for lunch. Clean dining area and great tasting fried fish! Buddy had the roast beef lunch. He said it was good too!!!

This is a great spot to enjoy a classic burger. Enjoy the southside. Lots of family owned places to enjoy. The waitress rocks she handles the tables with speed and respect.
This is one of those "diamonds in the rough". The building is old and the furniture is too. However, if you are willing to trade ambience for delicious hot fish and amazing Crispy Dogs (Mexican Corn Dog), then you definitely want to try this place.
Please be patient with wait times. Food is well worth the wait and the staff is absolutely wonderful and very attentive despite always being short staffed and pulled in so many different directions. Gyros Drive Inn has been a San Antonio staple for more years than I can remember. The same awesome comfort food from years gone by and still at very affordable prices in today's economy. The same food you've grown up with and known over the years.
