1ST TIME Visit. I was happily surprised to find Owners working Restraunt. Other Family members also working there. I know where I grew up, if you actually find a Family owned and RUN restaurant, it was worth going to.
I enjoyed the decorations and atmosphere.

Exceptional Mexican cuisine! The clutch was homemade flour and corn tortillas. The restaurant was very clean and decor was definitely uplifting 👌
Cute little family Mexican restaurant. Food was great and you cannot go wrong with in-person or to-go service. Extra points for being clean and certified a 100 grade by the city inspector. Breakfast tacos are the personal highlight for this place!

Trying this place a 1st time on 8/7/22 (745am). Came in, just opened & greeted nicely. Ordered the chiliquiles breakfast plate/no cheese. Pretty decent. Fixed w/chips-a little soggy, eggs a little dry but good portions served with refried beans/potatoes. Homemade chips/red sala/green salsa were good
First visit... Lively atmosphere, friendly customer service, & obviously frequented by a lot of regular clientele. Menudo to go was delicious. If you pick up the large, consider asking for extra condiments & tortillas if not already provided.
Line to the door says it all. This little home cooking place is worth the wait. All dishes are cooked to order and flavors remind me of home.
Menudo and Pork Chop were the BOMB!

BEST STUFFED CHURROS IN TOWN. And definitely one of the most authentic Mexican restaurants in all of San Antonio. Family owned with very friendly bilingual service.
