This place was sooo good. Some people have their own opinion on what they consider 'real Mexican food,' and I can't really say anything one way or another to that. What I can say is that THIS is what I'M looking for when I what Mexican food. The drinks were on point, the cheese dip was ever-so-cheesy, and the enchiladas were delish. I'll return for sure.
Great staff everything on the menu is delicious great times their very reasonable everyday s special is well worth it

We've been going to this restaurant for 20+ years and the food has always been great & reliable. However, under the new owners, everything has improved. New decor, now open for breakfast, new dessert items but the same great waitstaff and food. Go early and avoid the lines!
I always order tacos to pick up and I must say today the food was on point, as always!
This restaurant is by FAR one of the Best Mexican food places in San Antonio!!! The tortillas were so fresh and fluffy and the Queso was amazing with a little spicy to it ! Wow it was so yummy and I got awesome service to top it off !
First time today for breakfast tacos, delicious! Homemade tortillas, chile, and ingredients! Service was great as well. We’ll definitely be coming back!
First time dining here.I loved the atmosphere and the staff was very polite. The food was delicious.I will Definetely be coming back.
Very good service, cheese enchiladas were awesome, tamales- not that amazing, margarita were simple but very tasty and the fajita nachos were wonderful! Overall a very good meal.
What Does It Mean . . .!. Although I have been coming here for years, I never seem to remember to ask where the restaurant name came from. I always figured it was an "inna godda davida" moment by the owner. You know?! The song by the "ancient" group the Iron Butterfly? Anyway, they meant to say "In a Garden of Eden" but were just to inebriated to articulate that mouthful.
So, I was figuring that maybe "Sarita" was supposed to have been "Senorita" . . . Huh?! . . . Huh?! O.K. I'll ask next time.
Only had dinner here a couple of times, but the lunch specials are always a bargain. Good cheesy enchiladas though I usually end up getting one beef and one cheese for the variety. Both have good savory tex-mex (chili powder, cominio, onion) flavor in the gravy. The fluffy flour tortillas are a favorite as well, but the rice and beans are usual and complementary in a tex-mex plate obligatory sort of way.
Consistent. We've been going to Sarita's for over 20 years and it's consistently good. The chips could be better but the margarita's are terrific, the service is great and the food is always hot and served quickly. Like any restaurant, they have their ups and downs but the Summer Special is always good. I recommend the fish dishes too.
