Been here several times. Individual tacos are a bit expensive, but they give you a decent amount of meat. Everything tastes good. The chips were good overall, but a few were soggy and not crispy as they should be. The chipotle salsa was great. I recommend it

Great place to get tacos in San Clemente . The patio has a nice view with a small glimpse of the ocean, but you are really here for the food. I ordered a bunch of tacos but my favorite were the fried fish and fried shrimp. The batter is very tasty and crispy. This could be one of the most delicious shrimp tacos I have eaten. The Carne Asada was just ok but overall the food is excellent. If you are looking tacos look no further.

It was so delicious. I got three tacos for dinner. Tri-tip, Carnitas and my favorite of all battered shrimp. Everything was so fresh and tasty. I can't wait to come back. The service was fast and friendly *update 4/22/23 Our absolute favorite place to visit when we're camping up in San Clemente. So good!

The portions are large and the food is great. The down side is that they obliterated give you one small portion of salsa and if you want extra you have to pay. For the first time being here in definitely coming back. Parking is very limited so you'll be lucky to get one. The inside is very unique and definitely keeps your eyes busy.

The food came out fast and it was a cool vibe. The taste was meh for the price though. I guess being in San Clemente they can raise the price of a single street taco to $6 and get away with it. For better tasting food go to a ma and pop shop off the El Camino strip. Not bad, but nothing I would go back for.

We are new to the area, and we were struggling to find authentic Mexican food. Sancho's came through for us. We ordered two carnitas, tacos, and two beef tacos. Carnitas were on point. Beef was a little dry but good. It's reasonably priced as well. We will definitely be back. Good service and very clean. Signed..Mexicans from OC 🙃

Sancho’s is hands down the greatest taqueria I’ve ever been to. They find a way to absolutely nail both the taste and environment in the most fitting way for the local area. The music here is absolutely fantastic and captures the nearby beach vibe. Not only that, but the food is authentic, flavorful, and worth every single penny while providing the most inviting atmosphere possible.

The nicest people work here. DELICIOUS fresh food too! Portions are plenty. Variety of salsa to choose from. Lots to choose from on the menu. Patio is awesome to sit out on and especially to watch the sunset over the ocean is a plus but people not only return for the great food but THE BEST service. It’s one of our favorite spots to come to in the beautiful beach town of San Clemente. Update: this is honestly the best “hangout” by the beach and enjoy the scrumptious food they serve up! Love coming here!! Make it your favorite place to hangout too!! And Mathew… he’s still being awesome!

This is a great, small eatery in San Clemente. The food was absolutely delicious, and the inside as well as the outside has excellent decoration. I greatly enjoy the ambience as well as the location. It is right off of I-5, and you get to enjoy the nice views, too. The only reason it's not five stars on food, is they forgot to include the carne asada in my quesadilla. The quesadilla was still very, very well made and delicious!

Had an OG, Flounder Pounder and a chicken taco I've forgotten the name of. All of which were excellent (I think I preferred the fish, where usually I'll heavily prefer red meat). View from the deck was pleasant and the decor gave the place a good vibe.

Huge portions, incredible food and really nice employees. I was craving Nachos on a road trip, and all the Mexican food places in the area were either closed or seemed way too fancy know how to Nacho. For $10, I got a giant serving of carnitas nachos. I decided to get their Asada Fries too. A heavenly choice that leaves me with a days worth of leftovers for tomorrow ☺️ Take a look at the artwork along the walls by Koolhand Luke - beautiful bright paintings that bring the place to life. Beers, alcoholic seltzer’s and Sanchez Tacos merchandise available. Plenty of parking in the lot.

First time going here and I wasn't too sure what to think with the mixed reviews I saw. I was concerned everyone was just talking about the salsas and not the taste of the food on its own. We had the sawed off burrito. One chorizo and one bacon and sausage. I believe those are the first items to get when getting a breakfast burrito. I am happy to say I'm not disappointed with my choice. Both burritos were flavorful on its own. It did not need any special salsa to give it a boost or a kick. Customer service could have been a little better but it's whatever. I guess the only choice you have for breakfast is a breakfast burrito 🤷‍♀️? The lady didn't want to explain anything else and said tacos are for the afternoon.
