Excellent Chinese food in a casual but welcoming environment. Best orange chicken I’ve ever had (yes even Panda). Complimentary tea and cookies are a warm touch. Delicious food and flawless service.
Love, love, love this restaurant. Quality always there no matter what. I get veggie items and always get light sauce they never goof up. My husband gets spicey beef and is addicted. The service is top notch. They are the kind of service, taste and quality that most restaurants aspire to have. This place is classic and perfect.

DON'T LET THE CONSTRUCTION DETER YOU! The food was so good. I was surprised they had vegetable eggrolls. They're hard to find, and even harder to find ones that taste good. My husband had shrimp and broccoli and really enjoyed it. We visit this area a few times a year and are happy to have found such a nice place. It's clean and the staff are very friendly.
The food is delicious with ample servings. The dishes often present unique faire - in a very delicious way. The prices are reasonable for this level of quality and service. The staff is friendly and enjoyable.. They take the time to ensure that each patron is happy. Their personal interest in who we are makes time spent there pleasantly enjoyable. We always enjoy eating there for the food and the atmosphere provided by the staff..
My grandparents ate here once a week for twenty years or so. This is one of our families' favorite restaurants. They offer meals that I haven't found anywhere else: ruby chicken, house special chicken, and their special ice cream. The staff are excellent, too.
Love China Well! We truly care for & love the employees of this restaurant who go out of their way to treat everyone very kindly. This has been our favorite restaurant for over 6 years & is even more of a favorite since COVID began a year ago. They have the safest methods of picking up food during a pandemic & it is very much appreciated, as many restaurants in this town make customers plow through people waiting in line to order, which we won't do.
China Well restaurant dishes are outstanding!! My husband and I visit the San Clemente once a year, and we look forward to ordering a few of their tasty dishes every time we visit the area. The food is always made with Fresh veggies, and they make the best tasting broth we've ever tasted, and we should know as we often eat our favorite Asian foods, and trust us, we have high expectations and only eat at the best restaurant that serve quality food...you have to try it!!!

This is a small Chinese Restaurant, but we always feel welcome. It is located in the Stater Brothers location. Generally we go for lunch and order the Wor Wonton Soup. It is filling and good. The service is attentive and they try to please every customer. Anything we've ever ordered is served freshly made. Thank you for being here.

This is one of those unassuming local favorites. I have been eating here for 20+ years now. The cooks do not overcook the chicken, leaving it moist and tender, and the fresh veggies keep their flavor and crispness. They don't always use all fresh veggies, but they will leave out the canned stuff if you ask. If they have the spicy string beans give them a try.
Best Chinese in San Clemente. I don't eat anywhere else. I love their Fried Rice!!!! We've been coming here for years and it's still great. Friendly service too!

Omg! Food was amazing! Orange chicken on point orange beef I can't stop eating. Egg rolls didn't make it out of the car. Bbq pfr. Wow! It was pricy but I'm not mad. Totally worth it.
I'm from MI, this is the best Chinese ready food in America! Go to: shrimp fried rice, orange chicken! Always fresh, nice chunks of fresh eggs, fresh shrimp, delicious aroma!! Stop thinking and choose China Well!
Even though we've lived 2 miles from this restaurant for 6 years, we hadn't tried it until someone posted in NextDoor that it was a great restaurant, family-owned and delicious food. We're both very picky with Chinese food - just want clean, tasty food, not loaded with tons of additives and fat. OMG - we had the pineapple crystal shrimp (it was like eating a dessert), kung pao beef (not many offer Kung pao with beef) and the szechwan shrimp. We feasted on all these delicious meals and have plenty of leftovers. This place is right up there with Hu's Szechuan in West LA. We'll be ordering from them again.

This is my favorite restaurant! I absolutely love the staff, they are always so kind to me and my family. The food is the best of all the chinese restaurants I've tried in socal. I recommend the orange chicken and cream cheese wontons :)
