I was in the area and tried due to positive reviews. I enjoyed a freshly prepared meal in a comfortable setting. Nothing fancy, just good sushi and a friendly staff. I also liked the counter seats right next to the chef.
We love the low key, neighborhood feel of Full Moon, the servers are friendly and chill and the decor is low key. The miso is just right (not too salty but plenty of flavor). Tempura vegetables were cooked perfectly (not soggy) and the cut rolls were great. Try the tofu nuggets for something diff
Big shout out to these guys for keeping our community fed. They were absolutely slammed tonight and firing on all cylinders. On top of that, they have the best prices around and their food is consistently fresh and delicious. Favorite sushi spot in Dana Point/San Clemente.
SO good! Came for the first time to dine in and went back the next day. GREAT prices and AWESOME service! The workers are so sweet, hard working, and respectful! They say hey and bye to everyone. Loved that!
Great sushi at a reasonable cost! We have come here 4 times and have not been disappointed once.
Everytime I visit family we go there with their kiddos and it's always a great experience. All of the sushi is delicious and it's all for a fair price... definitely a go to for me!!!
Wow! First timer and everything was great! Sat at the bar, Mario was our guy and kept up with our orders and had them ready. I can't stress the freshness of the food. Reasonable price, definitely did not break the bank for the quality of the food and service. Returning in the near future for sure.
This is a weekly stop for my family for dinner. The staff is upbeat and friendly, the food is delicious and the prices are so reasonable. The only thing that keeps it from being 5 stars is that it’s tiny and feels cramped at peak times when it’s crowded. I don’t like sitting so close to the next tab

The place was very nusy when we got there. We were able to get seated quickly, though. The food was great. Service was a little slow. Hopefully, that was just because of the number of people that were there.

Cool Sushi spot. They have a great selection of sushi and other foods including udon noodles. They also have a great selection of beer for a reasonable price. This is definitely a cool spot and a great place for a date night!

The food was tasty and fresh and came out quickly. It was a little tight in the restaurant but we were able to be seated immediately and the kids really enjoyed it!
Best sushi I've had in Southern California, and I'm from Seattle, where we basically have good sushi on every corner. Great price for the quality too. The menu is relatively limited, but just ask one of the chefs to make you something special, and you won't be disappointed.

Service was a bit slow but staff was very friendly. I think it was slow mainly due to lots of pick up orders.
