Monday through Friday they have happy hour food specials. The wine selection in the restaurant n wine shop is outstanding. The wines the owner (Mike) recommended for both my thanksgiving n Christmas dinners were perfect matches for the turkey, goose n duck I served. They have monthly tasting parties which are fun, n the New Year's Eve party was the best I've been to in Orange County. I recommend trying Barnoa.

I am not much of a wine drinker but the ambiance was beautiful.
Soft lighting, candles, comfortable seating.
We sat near the entrance to their patio (which also looked lovely with string lights twinkling)
I enjoyed the prompt, polite, knowledgeable service.
There was plenty of parking and easy access to/from major travel routes.
Even though I am not a wine drinker, the owner made sure I had a beverage that I would enjoy (champagne)
We ate bacon wrapped dates. They were prepared well and are definitely an appetizer NOT for a meal. (so order a meal if you are really hungry)
I will visit again the next time I am in CA!

Love that they change their wine selection every few months! Great place to go to relax during the week or meet friends and listen to great music on the weekend. Pies (quiches) for $8? Amazing. Chocolate cake. To die for.

Great wine and even better food!!! If you are in the San Clemente area this place is a GREAT stop!!! We got the barbecue chicken quesadilla as an appetizer and the acorn squash with added chicken as an entrée. Both weee absolutely AMAZING! We will definitely be back!!!
Located in Talega, Barnoa is a great little hidden gem for great wine, great food and a fun atmosphere. I would definitely recommend trying the burger and the salmon for food choices, and Aaron the Trespasser and The Scrapper for red wine choices. Barnoa also has a great wine club that is a great price and gets you some great wine quarterly and saves you a bit of money every time you come in as well!
Reservations highly recommended. Live music on weekends. Always a memorable experience. Fantastic wine selection. Must have carrot cake!
I knew the food at Barnoa was good (we're regulars), but today we experienced their brunch for the first time. It was fantastic! Chef Mario has outdone himself with the menu. The avocado toast was the best I've ever tasted; it comes with a fresh salad and can be complemented with a side of egg or sausage. Cinnamon rolls, coffee, and mimosas made us happy. Next time we'll try the lox, which is made in-house. Yum! Brunch is served Saturday and Sunday, 10 - 2pm
Barnoa is a great local spot for drinks or dinner or desert or all the above for a fun night out. Generally there’s live music which sets itself apart from most places. The food quality and menu are far above the general pub grub and light wine bar eats. Space is limited and coveted so make reservations or get there early for an enjoyable evening or night out.
Loved the wine selection. Had a taste of several of their wines and all were great. They also serve beer and a yummy cheese and meats plate. It's a big, airy space with a beautiful bar and plenty of seating. Awesome addition to the neighborhood. I will be coming back soon!
Wonderful atmosphere. I suggest for dinner you try the shrimp and linguine some kind of noodle but it's got shrimp haha an open mic night on Sundays is wonderful the female bartender even sings... She should be on a record album. A lot of fun
We always go ahead of the crowd so the patio is all ours! The wine are a nice selection from Northern California. The burger is good and just the right size. Taco Tuesday has a selection of three tacos, all good.
Great little place!! A respite from the world hidden in the back corner of a local strip mall!! Nice selection of wines, tempting menu and comfy patio with seating spaced safely during Covid. My "go to" local spot to unwind with girlfriends.
Excellent Wine. Delicious food. Friendly and helpful staff and management. Wonderful ambience. No complaints. Great date night location.

They have live music here. Even the waitress sings. It's great you have to try the shrimp linguine I always get one to go also so I have one for lunch the next day. Great service great people great music really cozy very very friendly people.
Way better than it used to be. Good food. Good wine. Good service. Look, it is not a metro wine bar, but it is a local wine bar. So, if that is what you are looking for, then enjoy. Otherwise, stay in San Francisco or go to Napa.
Food is fantastic. The wine selection is good featuring many off brands and smaller winery's that you wouldn't typically think of to purchase at a store if you could find it. Try their happy hour!
Cute little place. I can no longer drink but the hubby enjoys it. They had an excellent singer when we were there
