Pappalecco - San Diego - Photo album

The best espresso that I've had in five years, neither bitter nor too acidic, made just right. Vanilla ice cream blew us away. Great atmosphere, quiet enough to have a conversation, yet lively and fun. The service was excellent. Plan to return.
This place was such a vibe! The perfect pick for our quick breakfast before getting back out on the road. The staff were super friendly and it really has that neighborly community vibe. Our coffees and pastries were really delicious. The almond croissant was incredible, highly recommend! Tutti bene!
Delicious Cappuccino and authentic, homemade Gelato, including Pistachio and Lemon! Friendly, warmhearted staff!
Love their Gelato and coffee. After a hearty lunch we walked around a few blocks from India st and ended up on this nice gelateria and coffee place. They have friendly staff and seating is plenty.
I really didn’t know what to expect when I initially went here, but this was legit the best Affogato I’ve ever had. The pistachio gelato was outstanding, combined with that perfectly roasted Italian espresso, this is definitely something special. I’d definitely suggest you come check this spot out.
I loved the coffee, absolutely wonderful. If I’m in the area just would go again in a heart beat!
This is my third stop on the San Diego Vegan tour. This is a cute place in Little Italy San Diego. I went with the mushroom and cheese panini with a dark chocolate Gelato. I'm loving Vegan food the more I eat it. They have several items that will make any Vegans happy. Non Vegans will al
Awesome place! Thank you for the experience. Big smiles the entire time and good quality products.Definitely hard to find places were it's not just about getting a cup of coffee. Engagement, eye contact and a lil conversation is way more valuable than getting a good cup of coffee.
A must-stop and taste everything! Staff is amazing and friendly, be sure to ask Francesco about the chocolate factory where his grandparents grew up! We can't wait to come back and try more menu items! Quiche, breakfast croissants and coffees are all amazing!
A little slow on the service, but very friendly, pleasant, and delicious. Have had the Pappalecco gelato, the prosciutto panino, and the apple crostata. Very good!
It was good! They have really good salads, paninis, croissants and delicious pastries. The coffee is good and strong. The only poor side I observed this time is the people in counter, taking your order, both of them had certain attitude, although I noticed not with everyone, is like they're choosing
Kind and amazing servers - very helpful and make you feel welcome. 👍👍👍
Quick gelato run after date night and I would say it's #4 on the "best gelato in San Diego" list. A really good variety of flavor options and actually quite some unique ones as well! Smooth and creamy gelato for sure. They have a Pappaleco special, but neither husband nor I were too big a fan. Bo
Nice cafe they open at night also which is good for me < Im not sure if they open for late ⏰ time but I went there at 6 pm they are nice and I like the cappuccino.. the apple pie is nice 2 < not the best for me but I don’t mind to order it again 🫢💕
Stopped in during a warm evening and picked up some Gelato, a cookie, and a cannoli. Service was fast and the food excellent.
We came here on a hunt for good tiramisu in Little Italy! Some of us ordered tiramisu, others ordered gelato and all of us ordered coffee. I ordered a caramel latte and it was honestly one of the best lattes Ive ever had! The tiramisu was a bit of a let down tbh, tiramisu is my favorite dessert and
Affogatto, latte, & panini were all amazing! Barista was very kind, and service was quick.
