Old Venice Italian Restaurant - San Diego - Photo album

Came here for dinner with a big group. Got seated in the back patio. They had several heaters so it was nice and warm. Nice selection of wine. Ordered artichoke and garlic bread to start. Had to order a couple more garlic bread because that went quickly. I ordered ossobuco on risotto. The portions w
We tried the focaccia (appetizer), linguini carbonara (entree), and osso bucco (entree). The focaccia kind of looked like a pizza, but it tasted good. The real stars were the entrees. Both dishes were so flavorful and savory. I wish I had ordered an entree with something acidic to balance the osso b
What a spectacular find! Came in with no reservation on a Monday night. We were seated immediately. Walking in we saw the store front empty and didn’t know what to expect. To our surprise, the outdoor seating was the best way to dine here. It felt like having dinner in a private garden. The landscap
I don't often give a 5star(if ever) but this place is fabulous. All dishes are around $20 and worth every dime. Delicious! great wine, good staff, nice atmosphere, music... and not too loud or soft. well done!
Everything from the wine to the dessert was outstanding. Coming back for more.
Pizza was good, pasta was ok, drinks were good. Service was ok, a little slow and she didn’t specify sizing or anything. Wife got pasta, waitress didn’t ask if she wanted protein or anything, my wife assumed it had something… but it didn’t. My food was good but they double charge if you customize a
I had the Mahi Mahi special. It came with Angel Hair pasta and a medly of vegetables. This is best meal I've had in a really long time. We've been coming to Old Venice since the 90s. It's always a nice experience.
this is one of the Italian restaurants ive ever eaten ....the bread is insanely good and huge portion...the pasta is great the molten chocolate cake with Gelato was so heavenly..this is definitely a must eat place..the price is moderate but very much worth it....also the terrace is very cute.
A true Point Loma/Shelter Island treasure. We have been eating and drinking here for over 30 years and can honestly say that we never had a bad meal, poor service or were disappointed in any way. The management and staff are very attentive and I haven't even got to the good stuff, the food and win
Very nice outdoor back patio for a summer eve dinner after Cabrillo monument trip. Huge salad & delicious bruschetta.
Great food, bar, and bartenders. Mike is cool. Great ambience. Good crowd. Sunday night and bar was full.
Atmosphere and service were great. Some great dishes. Loved the osso Bucco and carbonara. Bruschetta was too crisp but rest was good.
The service is impeccable and cuisine is beyond delicious and pre paired with love . . The wait staff is kind and classy yet unpretentious . The decor is breathtaking inside elegant in all white with candles and outside breathtaking white roses and topeira garden . The bar feels like your in M
I've been going here since I was very young. My Dad worked on the Naval base and this was a go to place for him. We visit at least once a year while in town. Nobody trusts us when we say ONLY get cheese pizza. But everyone who tries it then agrees! We love the atmosphere, the weather, the bread, and
Been here a few times now, feels like a lil hole in the wall place and hidden gem. All the food I have gotten has been incredible. Recommend the brie and garlic with bread as an appetizer 🤌🏻
