Really enjoyable experience. Usually, hard to find good chicken fajitas, but these were awesome. Lots of green and red peppers, onions, chicken and other essential items. Good bean dip and hot sauce for tortilla chips. Good selection of beer and margaritas. Sat immediately and excellent service. Fo
Delicious and cozy! We sat right next to the fireplace, but the whole restaurant had a cozy feel to it. The food was amazing, with very large portions, and the staff were great! Even the kids' meals had a lot of food. We ordered the Barra Barra burrito, chile relleno, chicken mole, and the kids sala
Always a pleasure to visit when in Old Town πŸ˜€ My son loves their bean dip and the bean/rice plate. Treated the hubby to their famous Seafood Paella πŸ₯˜ πŸ˜‹ It was delicious and a must try. I ordered my usual - Taco (fish), chicken πŸ«” and Enchilada (shrimp) πŸ€ͺ No Margarita this time, but I will next time!
Great Mexican restaurant located at the center of Old Town. It has indoor and outdoor seating that is nestled in the central location of Old Town. The outdoor seating has a great view into the Old Town courtyard. The service is always amazing. They ensure you are served and that your food is always

I'm pleased we chose this place to try Mexican cuisine. Tastes so good, large portions and the drinks are also fun. I chose Barra Barra sampler, to try a bit of everything!
I had a great dining experience for my first time here. The food was delicious, I loved it here. My friend and I were seated quickly, salsa and chips were served, and our meals were served shortly after that. I enjoyed everything I ordered, the flour tortillas were amazing my whole meal was perfect.
Barra Barra is a great spot to eat in Old Town San Diego. There is such a variety of appetizers and entrees to choose from. The food is made with distinct flavors of Mexican cuisine, with wholesome ingredients. I liked the outdoor dining options but decided to dine inside. This place is family owned
The food was great. Service started great and ended not so well. Overall was an OK experience. I'd definitely try it again. Carne asada tacos in the pic.
Food was perfect, served hot and tasty. Service was great and the atmosphere was inviting. Definitely recommend if you are visiting Old Town San Diego.
Pretty good that's served quickly. Even better is the staff, folks who are extremely friendly and attentive.
I ate there today and it was a good experience. Service was excellent and so was the food. I would go back. Pro tip: If there a lot of people waiting to be seated, you can skip the line and go straight to the bar. You can order food at the bar and eat there.
Best Mexican Food EVER. We come here every time we’re in San Diego. We make it a point to stop here to eat. It’s so good and when we have guest we bring them here to. Our kids even love it. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE.
