The Barrel Room-vintage Wine Bar & Bistro - San Diego - Photo album

We came as the first table on Sunday noon for lunch. They share the kitchen with Urge so you have more food options which is nice. I ordered a Fig & Pear pizza with a salad on the side and my husband ordered a Brisket Dip with soup on the side. Both foods flavors are nice. The only issue was my pizz
The Brisket sandwich was really good, especially with the dip, but I felt the mac and cheese and garlic fries were both average. We also had a Burger of the Gods, which had good flavor, but I thought might have been a tad overpriced.. or maybe that's just what a burger costs now after inflation. Th
Another great visit , great service, upbeat, and helpful staff. Food was served with a smile, hot and cold when ordered that way. We will continue to be customers and spread the word about this establishment. We recommend the barrel 100%
I had been to the barrel room before, but this time it was to host a surprise 50th wedding anniversary party for my parents. The manager, Christina was so incredibly helpful and kind in helping me plan for this! She went above and beyond and so did her staff every step of the way. We used their outs
Prompt and friendly service. Excellent Wine. Delicious food. Will be coming back frequently.
Have been going to this place with friends and office colleagues for long time. We have enjoyed happy hours, dinners and late night glass of wine here many many times. It's always a good experience. I took my wife and kids there for dinner last night. Kids loved the place and enjoyed their food alot
Great place to eat. Good environment. I had the Pork Belly Cuban really tasty. The service was really good. So may things I would like to try on the menu. Also had the Tomato Soup. Very hood.
Food was excellent. We really enjoyed our dinner here. We are from out out of town and came across this place randomly. Very glad we stumbled upon it.
Brooks and Aaron made our day. They do so well at crating the best atmosphere. Sophie’s our usual server and she always knows the best drinks.
CLOSED forever. All liquor has been moved to Urge a few doors down. The website is still active. Don’t even try.
This local wine bar has a great selection of wine with indoor and outdoor seating. The food comes from a neighboring partnered restaurant that has a good selection of choices. The brisket sandwich was decent although I personally thought more of the fat could have been trimmed from the meat. A dinne
I took my servers advice and went for the Short Rib Pappardelle (Braised Short Ribs, Mushrooms, Fresh Peas, Ricotta Cheese). Once the braising liquid mixed with the ricotta cheese it coated the wide noodles beautifully! A bite of that with chunk of melt in your mouth short rib... Yum.
Delicious food. French onion soup, pastrami sandwich and burgers all very good. Service was a little lacking.
Good food and a nice outdoor patio when the weather is good - which is pretty much every day in San Diego! Their lunches are good value but dinners are somewhat expensive for what you're getting. The wine selection and the atmosphere make it a good place for dates, so that probably part of what the
Sometimes good sometimes not. I get stake fries, rare. Most of the time they are not. Hubby gets lamb chops, says they are delicious, veggies are usually cold. We like the place, but not very consistent. Also a little pricey.
Great food and a good atmosphere. Server was very friendly. Having the two different menus (one nicer, one more casual) is odd but fine. Definitely will be back!
