I went there with Mom and Dad trying to find a good place to eat before the padres and giants game Monday! I love ❤️ our feet dangling, the people were nice and the gumbo was to die for! It’s my 10th time eating at the gaslamp being I go to comic con every year!
Great experience, staff was on top of things and put us in a nice secluded area, but was still close enough to the party scene in the front of the restaurant that we could enjoy the fun. Our food was amazing, I can recommend the beef cheeks and polenta!
Union Kitchen is a wonderful restaurant. Food is amazing and atmosphere is great also. We had a large party celebrating my sisters 30th bday. They were so accommodating and gave us amazing customer service. The Local Greeens salad is the best salad I’ve had in years. My husband and I shared shrimp and gritts. It did not disappoint. Thank you Union Kitchen for the great food and hospitality.
Food and ambiance was awesome. Came here for our victory brunch from a fitness challenge and it housed practically all of us. Waiter was great, attentive, and was definitely on his job! Only thing I would review is the menu to make sure the entrees are the same. My friend didn’t have the chicken & waffles on her menu but mine did. She was pretty bummed, but when the food came out, she was in heaven. Definitely enjoyed the patron, bailey’s shot. That was a tummy warmer! 🤩 Thanks for the fun experience! 👍🏾

Great brunch place! I had the steak and eggs and my girlfriend had chicken and waffles. Really delicious and they recently switched the steak to sirloin. So you know it was tender. Definitely recommend.
Recently had breakfast there. The food was delicious! Our waiter was great! Next time I visit, I will definitely be back there!
Our waiter and waitress (in training) were excellent. Loved the meatballs. They were amazing with the garlic toast, I want them again before I leave to go back home.

Loved the atmosphere and the staff, it’s super comfy and well decorated and the staff is super nice. We had a private area in the restaurant with a family style dinner so we could get a bit of everything.
I recommend the cornbread, flatbreads and the chicken.
The flourless chocolate lava cake was to die for!! It was delicious.
This road is special at night,when you pass the street , you can feel different cultures of San Diego ,that’s why we order a local steak and local margarita to get into this culture,this steak and margarita are amazing delicious in my opinion.
The Union Kitch in the Gaslamp district in San Diego is fun! Good fun and drinks. And it's located in a great spot within walking distance to other restaurants and bars.
I for Crab cakes and spicy passionfruit margarita! Yum!
We arrived for our conference at the same time as a Padres game. Staff was extremely kind and helpful. Flatbreads are amazing and the burgers are divine.
We loved eating here! The service and atmosphere was great! So many options for seating and a great drink list!
The union kitchen is a good place if you want to go after work to get a drink and a bite to eat. I went there without a reservation and I was seated very quickly. The establishment is very clean and the service was good. The food however was okay given the price. I plan to go back and try other things on the menu but I think there might be other options in the gaslamp that are better for the price.
We made a reservation for a pretty big group and they were terrific to work with! Communication was great and our table was perfect. Great atmosphere, they put us in the back and we were all able to talk. Personally, I had the crab cakes and loved them. Everyone was happy with the choice!
I held a company reception here in November. The event coordinators were incredibly helpful, professional, and flexible. They tailored the reception specific to all of my requests! I received very positive feedback from my team; their catering menu offered a wide variety of delicious options, and the staff was on point. Thank you Union Kitchen!

Very good food. We had buffalo wings , bbq chicken flatbread and fries. Everything was very flavorful, especially the wings!
The food was pretty good. The Gaslamp Quarter is a bit touristy but fun too!
Visited this place during San Diego Comic Con 2022 and it was super busy but we were able to get a seat pretty quick. The food was phenomenal and despite being so busy the service was exceptionally quick! Well priced and tasted great. Try the wings!
I love this spot in the Gaslamp district of downtown San Diego! I went in March and it was the perfect patio weather. We were seated quickly for lunch and the service was amazing. I got the Kale and Quinoa salad and the a Truffle Fries which were both *chefs kiss* delicious! Huge portions for all the dishes we got. Our server was helpful, quick and so funny. And the prices were great too! Highly recommend this restaurant.
Stopped in for a couple of appetizers and drinks as we explored. Took advantage of the outdoor seating, which had the benefit of patio heaters for the cooling evening. Flatbread pizza was delicious and really surpassingly crisp. Service was very polite. Fun but brief stop!
Great Service, Great Atmosphere, and Great Food. Good place if your vegetarian or vegan, They have a couple options. Took my girlfriend here and she got the pizza and she enjoy the food. Great place to hang with your friends and get drinks. Pretty cool looking place.
