I recently had the opportunity to dine at Filippi's Pizza Grotto Scripps Ranch in San Diego, California, and I was absolutely blown away. I'm from Dubai, and I've eaten at some of the best restaurants in the world, but Filippi's is truly something special.

The food is always so great when we come to Filippis. They have great gluten free options. Our server Josh was attentive and personable. The prime rib at this location is incredible. Highly recommend! The wines good too :)

The Prime Rib was amazing, really amazing. The smallest cut is 16 oz then 20 oz then bone in @ 24 oz.
We shared the 20 oz and it came with garlic bread, pasta (lasagna) and salad. You could get baked potatoe instead. They even split everything for us.

It had been awhile since we had ate at Filippi's so we decided to go there for Prime Rib. The serving of prime rib was generous and perfectly cooked. The servers were very helpful and attentive. The decor is older but charming. No complaints here!

This is the only Flippi's that serves prime rib and barbecued ribs. Both entrees are some of the best in San Diego. The atmosphere is certainly"old timey" but as well suited for the food and the fun.
Love this place for good old fashioned stick to your ribs Italian. Lasagna is thick, flavorful, and rich. Pizza has real mozzarella piled thick with generous toppings. Staff is always friendly and willing to serve.
