Conveniently located inside the Marriott Marquis, this restaurant is a gem. With a great brunch (and mimosas), there is an excellent menu for all-day dining with plentiful seating with great views.

It is good for what it is. I should have asked for a taste of the Harland Lager before getting a full glass. It tasted like flavored water. The short rib tots teased that they might have a secret entree but sadly, NO! I am full of unseasoned traveler choices. I am off my game from not traveling for 3 years. I really want the fried chicken but that will have to wait for an empty tummy.

This was a pleasant surprise. We've stayed at the Marriott Marquis several times, but have never eaten here before. After a long day, we just wanted a quick bite to end the night. We expected a typical hotel restaurant, but got so much more! We ordered from the chef's special menu and found the food to be beautifully presented, delicious, and not too pricey! The environment was also lively and fun. It was a great way to end our evening. UPDATE: We had another great evening at the Marina Kitchen tonight. My husband ordered the ribeye and I ordered the fried chicken - both delicious. We ended the night with a seasonal eggnog creme bruelee. The ambiance continues tonbe lively and fun!

I stopped in for breakfast at the Marina Kitchen Restaurant & Bar they day I left. The breakfast buffet was really nice with many fine options. I had a made-to-order omelet, which was prepared perfectly. The fruit was fresh and pastries looked delicious. Please know, it is not cheap, but the food was delicious.

Located inside the Marquis Marriott San Diego hotel, this restaurant is nothing short of elegant. The breakfast buffet was gorgeous! We absolutely loved our experience here and would 100% go back again.

We had such a terrific time at Marina Kitchen, Aubrey was absolutely fantastic! The vibe here was very warm and welcoming. I loved the P.S. Cocktail and quail, I can't recall having such a great meal in quite a while. I love the ambiance here and the view of the pool, so relaxing. The location is so convenient as it's located inside the Marriott Marquis. I had a really amazing experience here and look forward to coming back to enjoy their food again very soon.

In town for a convention? Find your way to Marina Kitchen for a drink or dinner. The swordfish was phenomenal and washed down with an amazing old fashioned. If you want to have the best day of your life, order a Makers Mark Milkshake.

A beautiful place to eat, however, the food is not so hot. I don't know if the kitchen is 10 miles away but everything comes out kind of cold. I think it would be a great place to go for drinks and appetizers.

One of the best hotel breakfast buffets in town. Specialty omelets, lots of hot choices. Look at the eggs and smoked salmon. Attentive servers who don't rush you and do encourage seconds. Yum.

They have the best breakfast bar with flavors to entice everyone who loves oatmeal to specialty omelets to miso soup and noodles. The fruit was fresh every day. The hostess was friendly and a joy to greet every morning at the Marriott Bonvoy station!

Most hotel restaurants don’t try that hard because they have a captive audience. And this place does have a captive audience but they still try hard and deliver delicious food and service. Ate here for dinner 3 times on a recent week-long business trip and had a great experience each time. Had the grilled cheese and tomato soup twice and bacon cheeseburger once. Both entrees were delicious but the grilled cheese was next level. Coworker had the short ribs and said they were delicious. Great drink menu and good view overlooking the pool. Staff very friendly and attentive (Mel, Danielle). Big bar area with plenty of seating.

Highly recommend partaking in any one of the many wine focused events Marina Kitchen puts on. Very knowledgeable sommeliers and servers and a fantastic setting. The schedule seems to change, so call beforehand, but last time we went we were able to do an individual tasting in front of the impressive wine room, while enjoying some charcuterie and small bites. Very intimate and well catered to the individual taste. Fabulous food and drinks.

Came here for the breakfast buffet one morning, and to the bar for a ‘nightcap’ on three occasions. The breakfast experience was good. The freshly prepared food was of a decent quality but, above all else, the staff were really helpful, friendly and attentive. At $31 per adult head, however, it was a little expensive and encourages you to overeat. For a hotel bar, this one is really great. Impressive selection of whiskeys and a good selection of craft beers. Thanks to Olive for great service.
