Must visit! I found them online and ordered for pick up and I must say this place is amazing for bread, pastries and coffees! The vibe is wonderful with lots of locals and friendly staff. We bought a bunch of pastries to try and they all were delicious, unique and fresh. The bread looked amazing as well. It’s located in this really cool area with local art shops and parks around it. Such a pretty place to start your day.

I’m one of the artists in ArtWalk and had Con Pane Rustic Bread’s sandwich for lunch, it is so delicious! I think the good bread made it a big deal. I had a Turkey sandwich, the flavor is great and I would love to come back for it! I also had a big chocolate chip cookie, which is delicious as well.

My favorite feature is the "Chef's Whim" pastry item. Today's item was a pistachio & frangipani (passion fruit) croissant! I could enjoy it more if there wasn't green food coloring? It was soft in the middle and had a double-baked buttery crust. It was a wonderful place to enjoy fresh bread and learn about bread making. Their board explaining the various types of bread is clever. Order a salad if you want greens. It would be great to see a pinch of greens with vinaigrette on a sandwich plate, instead of half a plate empty. Bring a basket and go home with bread for the week!

Delicious sandwich on rosemary olive bread and also has top notch treats. One of my favorite things is that you can buy just a couple slices of bread (if you're like me, you LOVE bread but can't have a whole loaf in your house!). Convenient location in Liberty Station with lots of free parking.

This is a great spot for breakfast/lunch. There is a large selection of bread, sandwiches, pastries, cookies, and hot drinks. You can select which bread you would like for your sandwich. My go to is the turkey cobb sandwich on multigrain bread - the turkey cobb is an amazing sandwich! It has turkey, bacon, lettuce, blue cheese, avocado and roasted tomatoes (I order without tomatoes). I have enjoyed just about every pastry there such as the cinnamon rolls (eat it there warm), scones, and orange sugar bun. I tried the mixed berry danish during my last visit and loved it. The pastry was flakey and filled with a creme/custard and topped with berries. I would also highly recommend trying a hot butterscotch latte. It's wonderfully indulgent and the butterscotch flavor is outstanding. The restaurant has bathrooms onsite and plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. The outdoor patio is dog friendly. There is plenty of parking since this is located in Liberty Station. Be prepared for a wait - it's always been slow to order and slow to get your order but it's absolutely worth the wait. There is usually a separate, shorter line if you are just ordering bread. This place is with a trip if you are looking for good bread, sandwiches, pastries, and a butterscotch latte!

Went there twice in just a couple days, just because they were so good. I love bread. For me it is amazing. And to find great bread, this is the icing on the cake. It’s like going to San Fransisco and going to a certain famous sourdough shop. For me, this is the boudin’s of the south and that is nothing short of awesome. The selection of breads are amazing, not to mention the breads themselves. The cinnamon rolls are great and their sandwiches are ridiculously good. And as a bonus, their peanut butter doggie treats are a hit with the four legged friends too.

We love this cafe in Liberty Center! We’ve tried various sandwiches and the savory bread plate, and have yet to be disappointed. The vanilla latte with oat milk is my husband’s go-to drink, and I always steal some sips when he’s not looking! The pesto is some of the best I have ever had. The only reason this review is four stars is that the sandwiches and treats are a bit pricey.

My favorite bakery and sandwich place in San Diego. Close proximity to the airport means that I try to stop by at the start and end of my trips! I've been visiting for many, many years. My favorite is the chocolate loaf and chocolate buns that is available on weekends. The loaf can be ordered whole or sliced. Half sandwiches are quite large, about the size of my hand! I really enjoy the home roasted tomatoes in the sandwiches. Sourdough is really good and chewy. All the baked goods and breads are very fresh! I recommend the cinnamon rolls. Nice outdoor area with umbrellas and tables to enjoy the sunshine, preferably with good food and company. Indoor seating is also available.

Exceptional quality food. Very high prices. Often long waits on the weekends, just to get your order in. A conventional bottle of water runs $3.50. So does a single cookie. Keep in mind, it's a thick, beautiful, and tasty cookie. But just a cookie. Half a roast beef on sourdough sandwich is over $12. It's beautifully made, and delicious. But if you want a whole sandwich, $$$ ! So if money is not an issue for you, this restaurant will be a delight.

Delicious delicious bakery. The Turkey Cobb is one of my most favorite sandwiches ever. Their breads are made in house which are wonderful. Arnold Palmer is also great. Their baked goods like cinnamon buns and cookies are also delicious. A wonderful place for lunch, a treat or both. Employees are great as well. I think you all get the point. Please try this place.

I can't get enough of this place! Only been here twice so far, but it's definitely become a favorite. The service is great, and the menu items are delicious. I usually go in the afternoon, a bit close to closing time, but they have a good amount of stuff still! Their Pane Cioccolata is soooo yummy! Their bakers bread plate is a great deal if you're wanting to try out their breads (sweet or savory) as it comes in super thick slices!! :)

This is one of the best spots in San Diego and truly has the most delicious bread and pastries. I also appreciate the kindness of employees and the great atmosphere they create. I tried to come here during the recent storm and they were closed, but saw us and came out to give us a few free pastries just because. Go here! You won’t regret it!

Was recommended by a local pilot. 10/10. The food was amazing and so fresh. A little on the higher end in price but that’s what you get with fresh food and rising costs.

Love this place! Delicious breads, fantastic lattes, and the employees are so pleasant. Dania, the store manager, even came out to hand me my order to go. Just a great experience from beginning to end. It is now on my regular spots to go for coffee and food!

Great Turkey Cobb Sandwich; I don't usually like blue cheese and avocado, but this sandwich had a fabulous mix of ingredients balancing each other out. The breads were good also.
