This place has a great view. You basically are in top of the water. The service was great and the food came out fast. The selection is quite limit however. The price is reasonable for an ocean view restaurant like this. This is a handicap friendly facility with access for wheelchair. Plenty of parking spaces in the Seaport Village. Great for family or romantic dinner.

The view is by far the best and coolest part of the restaurant!! It's such a wonderful view to enjoy a meal with! We came here while on vacation, and really enjoyed it as our lunch spot at Seaport Village. The food was great! Enjoyed the seafood the most! Amazing clam chowder! Drinks where great too!

Great location to have F&B right at the Waterfront. Drinks are tasty. We didn't order main dishes but some crab cakes. It was okay overall. Best selling point is the views and drinks

Whenever we come to San Diego we always come to the Pier Cafe and have never been disappointed! The food is good and decently priced and the views are awesome! Make sure you ask for a table next to the water edge! The service is excellent!

Haven't been down to seaport in 15 years and it's still beautiful. We got a nice view of the water, but if you want seating in front of the window you need a small party. Everything we ordered was fresh, not greasy and a good portion. The staff is really friendly and our waitress was awesome. I would definitely come back and try different plates.

I got the tacos. The shrimp was really good and the cod was better than I expected. I liked the atmosphere. The only reason I took one star off is because they never refilled our water, not once.

Came here with a group of 12, and we were seated in 3 separate table next to each other, not attached together. Although that was not what we wanted, it was good enough since other restaurants couldn’t seat us. I tried their fish taco and it was good. The service was ok. Our server wasn’t very attentive to our table. We had to ask for her to come over to get the things we wanted. The view though is what I LOVED about this restaurant! Absolutely gorgeous. It made the experience worth it!

The atmosphere is great, the restaurant is above water and the view is phenomenal. I wish we could’ve seen the sunset but the weather didn’t help at all. It was a cool day but the staff provided heaters which is a plus, big shoutout to all the staff, they were all very attentive. Drinks were served fast. I liked their coffee specially in this cool weather. The Seabass Veracruz didn’t satisfy though, It felt like a frozen product.

Enjoyed Brunch here on a very busy Mother's day. Luckily we made reservations for 13 ahead of time and we got a primo table next to the window (to be honest, all the tables seem to have a good water view - so don't worry to much about that). We had great service, our drinks were never left empty, food came out in a timely manner, server was super patient and accommodating as you can expect. So really hats off to the staff for the great service. I wasn't feeling at the top of my eating game, so I was only able to sample small amounts of food - and opted for the piping hot Clam Chowder in the sourdough bread bowl. I was really happy with the balanced flavor of it, the portion wasn't crazy chunky with potato's, and seemed to have a decent amount of clams - honestly was just enjoying it too much to count. Pretty much finished the whole thing myself! Was also able to try the calamari which was pretty standard, nothing to set it apart from any other - but worthy appetizer if you are looking for your premeal snack. I do feel like it was on the pricier side for dining, but you are pretty much over the water with an amazing view - so paying more for the view, with some good food.

It was a gorgeous day yesterday, and I was in the mood for a nice salad, but I also wanted to be by the water. I made a trip to Pier Cafe, a restaurant that sits out in the San Diego Bay, located downtown at Seaport Village. I had the Mediterranean Salad, with grilled chicken. It comes with mixed greens, cucumber, red bell pepper, onions, olives, fetta, and garbanzo beans. It was the best salad I have ever had! Everything about this place is great. The location, atmosphere, service, and overall aura is peace. I highly encourage you to check them out. They specialize in seafood.
