Incredible experience at Biga. Service was fantastic, the place wasn’t too crowded and we tried a whole host of things on the menu.
The pizzas and pastas are definitely the way to go but don’t sleep on the ‘nduja. Gnocchi was easily the best pasta of the ones we ordered.
Will be back the next time
I have been looking for housemade bread like this in San Diego! Thin and chewy, fresh and amazing. I'm addicted. We came by for lunch and tried the classic Italian sandwich, caprese salad, and the Napoli pizza. Everything was delicious. Awesome casual atmosphere. I will definitely be coming back for
One of the best pizza I had. Restaurant atmosphere was pretty nice. Only downside was that it was impossible to order a specific cured meat , it was the 7 meat meal or nothing.
General rule, if a customer wants to buy something that is partially on the menu, let him do it.
Excellent Italian restaurant in Gaslamp run and managed by quality people. The pastas are first-rate as San Diego goes, and the velvety Wood-Fired Braised Lamb Shank is an excellent dinner option. While nibbling on BIGA's intriguing semolina-based bread, start with the charcuterie plate and you won'
Pizza was amazing and the salads, too! Service was ok, a bit slow and inattentive *this was after lunch rush on a rainy day*
Returned the following morning for an espresso + croissant - was yummy and good alternative to hotel food!
WORDS WELL DESERVED FOR KIND KIND MEAL:
We all agree that tasting great food is an awesome pleasure we all enjoy but having this element mixed with human kindness has the power to turn an already awesome meal into an unforgettable experience.
I’ll make it short and simple:
I came in for a casual
Underwhelming. Good attempt to make good pizza, but not great. Dough and crust are excellent. Cheese and toppings are okay. Our pizzas came oversalted, which was likely accidental. We've had Margarita and Blanca, staple simplest pizzas. I'd say they both were about 7 out of 10. Not much character in
The best neapolitan pizza I've ever had. The stone fruit salad was absolutely incredible. Great job Biga!
AMAZING food as always. this is a good spot to dine before heading to the symphony. definitely try everything on the menu!
Simply the best pizza. The sticky toffee pudding should be listed as a class a drug. It is the best dessert I have ever tasted. So good I had to go back two days later to repeat the experience. If you live in San Diego you should eat here every day (you will end up the size of a house but it will be
Vegetarian Pizzas were great and well made. We tried the wild mushroom and mozzarella pizza. Good value for the prize and serve lovely desserts too.
Amazing customer service. Shoutout to Sydney the best Battista I've ever had. The coffee was delicious and I'll go again as soon as I can.
The food was tasty and the service was great. The only problem is that the place is too hot due to its oven.
Very nice and simple Italian food, great choose of wine and beers. Pizza is very good, the burrata really fresh and tasty. Everything we had was really good and great service. Remember the ice-cream😊
Pizza offerings are a really interesting selection of ingredients and the crust is nice and charred/crispy in all the right ways. Nice, casual atmosphere with the ability to serve a little more upscale entrees. Would go back to try another pizza - service was excellent. Bananas foster/flambe dess
The appetizer with the crostini was amazing. The pizza was not nearly as good.
A thoroughly satisfying experience! We had to push our reservation an hour later due to travel mishaps and they were very accommodating. They were down a server and they handled it magnificently working as a team to ensure everyone was taken care of. The food was delicious! At the end of our meal we
