This is honestly some of the best food I've eaten. (Coming from Chicago, I like to think I know good food ) We stayed in San Diego for a week and came to crushed twice. I don't think anyone in my family had a complaint about anything. The cinnamon roll pancakes deserve all of the hype, and the I think the green sauce on the chicken chicaquiles is the best I've ever had. The staff was super friendly and inviting and the mimosas flights are top notch. Definitely a must go if you're in the San Diego area!!

I joined the Navy almost thirty years ago hoping to travel the world and eat a bunch of food from other countries. Most of the time I ended up just getting drunk. It was a terrible cycle of shaving my head, living with dudes and drinking non-stop. I did that for ten years then I got out.
Oh yeah, the food at Crushed is great. Seriously, really super good. Had the Chicken Nachos, a Carne Asada flatbread and a couple pints of craft beer. Wife had the Mahi Mahi Tacos and a flight of delicious Mimosas. I will definitely be coming back and I place this into my "super-highly recommend" category.
Came to visit SD for first time and came to Crushed to eat some breakfast. I eat good food and the employees were very nice and friendly. Highly recommend this place.
This place is nothing short of amazing. The staff makes you feel like family and the local beer selection is on point
Crushed has an amazing staff and the drinks and food are phenomenal. I met the owner, Amy, and she was so kind and appreciative of our patronage. I suggest the soy fries and the margarita flight! All Yummy!
I'm on vacation this week and got a recommendation from a friend to try out Crushed for brunch. Breakfast is my Favorite!! Crushed did not disappoint. From the deep fried deviled eggs to the sausage and gravy sliders...not to mention the mimosa flight.... the food was soooo good!! Also, and just as important to me, the service was amazing. They were super busy and we were very well taken care of. Friendly and attentive staff. Thank you Crushed!! We will be back!
Very busy but worth it! I’d recommend the champagne flight!
They have a wonderful atmosphere here, with unique recipes. I absolutely love their mimosa samplers!!! The food is delicious and their staff goes above and beyond. One of my new favs.
We really love this place, me and my fiancé stayed an extra day is cali just to come to crushed every experience has just been great the staff and vibe are awesome can't wait till we come back in February for our bachelor and Bachelorette weekend in February!
Awesome place to get some good food and some good drinks... prices are very affordable and the quality of both drinks and food are good...
Came to SD for Springbreak & my daughter's birthday week, came to see what the hype was all about. We went for dinner on 3/24 and we enjoyed it that we went back the next day for breakfast. It was really busy but def worth the wait. My girl is a hard pleaser when it comes to food, & she was blown away lol. So we'll def be coming back here when we're in town.
It was good decision to come here for brunch after a night out with friends. The place alone is such a vibe, and the food was exactly what we needed. They have a good selection of food and drinks and the staff made good recs for what food and drinks based on our preference and their own favorites.
Very good brunch place. Very unique offerings. Had trouble deciding what to order. All the food was great and the atmosphere was open and refreshing.
One of my favorite brunch spots in PB. All of the Egg Benedict are good but the crab cake is my favorite. Being local I always get there early before the wait but seating is limited so the wait can get long quick.
Delicious food, amazing choice of 15 different mimosas and the atmosphere was really fun! Plus Luca, our server, was outstanding!
This place sits in a trendy little area of north park. The ambiance of this place is really cute and trendy. Alas the restaurant appeared to have no AC so we baked the whole time we sat. The service was prompt and our waitress was really nice. I got the vegan tacos and a hazy IPA which was delicious and i got to try the duck fries and the margarita flight. Id go back again when there’s a few less flys and the weather isn’t cooking you while you eat.
Recently I visited Crushed located near Pacific Beach. The place is well lit, beautiful interiors with spacious seating arrangements. Attentive staff and quick service. Their menu is very elaborate with a wide variety to choose from. We started with strawberry frose. Next up we tried their Margarita flatbread and blueberry pancakes which were delicious. Overall experience was amazing. It’s a must visit place.
Everything we had was good. My bf had the cinnamon roll pancake which was really good, I had the pretzel with omelet and cheese. We also had truffle fries which was really good.
American portion size meals.. everything was really good and big. Only thing I dislike about the place is they don’t have coffee on their menu. It’s a breakfast place how come no coffee??
The wait was worth it, food is amazing delicious. I highly recommend getting a bottle of mimosa if you are a group or else you’ll spend more in single ones. The green chilachiles are good, the ceviche has a great taste.
I came to PB to Crushed specifically for my birthday brunch. It was even better than I remembered the last time I was here. This place is the best place to start your day any day of the week even if you aren't celebrating anything special. Do yourself a favor, go here and order anything off the menu and you will not be disappointed. Luca was wonderful and the owner is an angel!! We will all be back very soon!!
Crushed is a lovely place! I love the fun atmosphere and friendly service. The food is yummy and filling. Making me glad I chose this spot for a Saturday brunch! You can really tell that the owner Amy, cares about everything that goes into making a great restaurant. The food is on point, the service is on point, and the atmosphere is unmatched. I enjoyed the deviled eggs which are deep fried to perfection and the chicken chilaquiles that were a party in my mouth. So yummy, with just a slight spiciness that I loved. Thanks all that made this fun Saturday brunch a delicious and fun time! See you again soon.
I know this is typically a brunch spot, but we went here for happy hour/dinner on a Sunday, and we were very pleased. Place was pretty much empty - food and service were top notch. Would recommend the ducking good fries as an app (over the Parmesan garlic fries), and the shrimp tacos/portabella sliders as a main. The tap list was good, and the prices were very reasonable too. Can’t wait to come back for brunch!
Great food! Meh mimosas, meh service.
The hostess was friendly and welcoming but the rest of the people working there could t even be bothered to say hello or acknowledge us when bringing us our food. 2 of us got mimosa flights; we both agreed they were just OK. None of them tasted much like the advertised flavor.
The food, however, was very, very tasty, which is why I decided on 4 stars instead of 3. Just save yourself the cash and skip the mimosa flights and be prepared for unfriendly food delivery to your table.
So I came to the fine city of San Diego in order to see what the city had to offer me culinarily. I cross-referenced many websites and food blogs before my trip, and I deduced that this would be one of my best options for a nice lunch. After a terrifying kayaking venture into the Pacific Ocean, I came here and settled in.
These guys open up at like 8AM and serve from their Brunch menu until 4PM. So I had plenty of amazing menu items to choose from.
Before we got started with food, we browsed at the drink menu. My girlfriend wanted me to point out that their mimosa flavors were truly unique and special and delicious. There's no bottomless option, but there is a flight option where you can pick three flavors to try. We got a pear & thyme, an apple cider, and a lavender honey flavor, and she loved them all.
Now, back to food. I ordered the Biscuits and Gravy (old fashioned biscuits and gravy piled high with scrambled eggs and sausage). Good Lord. This was a lot of food. A lot of good food. Flakey, dense biscuits that didn't get overly soggy under that pile of gravy. The gravy was mild, not too peppery, not too sausagey, but it was ok. The sausage and the eggs on top, though, were very flavorful. Very good.
I also got to sample the PB BBQ Sliders (three homemade beef & bacon burgers topped with red jalapenos, mozzarella cheese, and crispy onion rings drenched in BBQ sauce). Oooh these little guys were so delightful. The slider bread itself was hefty enough to contain all of the slider toppings. You don't see that every day. The burgers were spiced very nice with salt and pepper, I tasted really high quality meat.
I couldn't really tell where the bacon was, it certainly didn't enhance this dish. But the ooey gooey mozz and the crispy onion strings that were literally everywhere sure did. This was a very solid dish. And don't worry about not feeling full after an entree of sliders. You'll be full.
Overall, this was a truly excellent meal. The vibe of the whole place was so chill, and it had plenty of outdoor seating available. The wait staff was very friendly and was quick to make menu option recommendations. All the food was delicious. And to be frank, it was the most bang for my buck I had during my time in San Diego. If I come back to Cali, I'll come back to this place.
This was the second time I have been to Crushed. They got everything right. Ordered the crab cake Benedict and it was excellent. Also had their French press coffee, once again excellent. I know the coffee is good if I don’t have to put anything in it.
The service staff was fast, friendly, courteous, and the the place is kept very clean.
Stop in and give them a try.
The food and drinks were very unique. Service was super friendly, this was a great choice for brunch.
First time trying out this spot. Found it on Google. Went on a Sunday after church. Wait was decent at about 20 mins.
I loved how they took your order while in line and once they sear you. Your food comes shortly after. Great system. Awesome food, good vines, musice and environment.
Absolutely the best brunch place in San Diego and has been for many years. I’m visiting from Florida and it surely didn’t disappoint in any way! I’m in the service industry and I’m very picky, any employees I interacted with were all on top of my needs! Amy is the best! :)
