A great menu with an unparalleled wine list. We had the 5 course wine pairing dinner that was superb. Amelia was our server and she was attentive but never rushed us. She was very informative on the menu and wines. This was a very memorable experience. Don’t be fooled by the location.

We have dined at the Brasserie multiple times and have always had a fabulous meal! Besides the wonderful food, the service is exceptional! Moro is the best! I can highly recommend the Brasserie for any special occasion or for any other reason to dine out.

We went to the downstairs bar for the sparkling wine tasting last night. We bought two of the wines and stayed for dinner. My wife and I shared 6 oysters then she had the burger and I had the veal meatballs. Both were great along with the glasses of Pinot Noir. We promised each other that we would try the restaurant upstairs soon.

We have been members of this wine club for about 6 months and have enjoyed every wine we have received from them. Have not tried the restaurant yet, but the menu looks delicious so will be trying that next.

My husband and I celebrated our anniversary at the restaurant. He was a bit skeptical going in because of he location (I already read the reviews so I knew what to expect). He was blown away with the experience, as was I! Excellent ambiance. The service was attentive, knowledgeable, and welcoming. The food was incredible from start to finish and the wine was excellent. We described what we liked and Greg narrowed down their huge list and made excellent recommendations. We can’t wait to go back!

This became one of my favorite places in San Diego the very first time I tried it. The atmosphere is very relaxed it felt like I was home enjoying a glass of wine having great conversation with my friend. This was solidified as my favorite place when I went for Christmas eve dinner and met the owner he asked my name. When I returned for New Year's Eve dinner so my bff could experience this amazing hidden gem I was greeted by name and from then on I was sold. It's the little things, the attention to detail that make the WineSellar & Brasserie one of my favorite restaurants in San Diego.

I have been to many French restaurants most were average and below. Winesellar brassiere ranks as one of the best restaurants in San Diego Ca . The service and presentation are all top shelf . I take only special friends there.

Excellent service. Extensive wine list, yet you can purchase a bottle at their store at retail price and drink it. Saving some money. Their corkage fee is also very reasonable. The cheese plate selection is not fantastic. The duck and lamb are very good. Incredibly, the potatoes and veggies were a miss. Very limited selection of digestives and dessert.

Upstairs of their wine shop, it's a cute little restaurant. Unfortunately we found their food hit or miss. The escargot smelled great but light on flavor. The bread and butter were nice. The dry aged ribeye was a pretty poor cut. Too thin and not very rich. The duck two ways was great as a leg confit but the breast was chewy and tough as well as flavorless. The restaurant did take the duck off the bill. They had an interesting blackberry sorbet and a balsamic strawberry dessert which at least provided us some new flavors. Service was mostly attentive and the Cabernet I had wasn't bad, but it's too bad the food was just not up to par.

Interesting history for a very unique restraunt. The original - and still active - business here was as a wine storage facility for individuals with large collections. Rare bottles from owners willing to sell portions of their collection, upon appraisal, often find themselves on the extensive wine collection here. The food here was pretty good, if expensive. I thoroughly enjoyed my duck and the special Chilean seabass in beurre blanc was perfectly prepared. They do regular tastings and pairings so check the website and make it an unforgettable date night!

Amazing food, ambiance and service 🤩 We had the charred broccolini, chicken Alfredo, and chicken piccata. Highly recommend these items, they were so delicious! Desserts are not as satisfying as the main course in terms of flavor. A lovely place for a long lunch or romantic dinner.

Spectacular California French cuisine with knowledgeable white glove service in an elegant environment. You'll be hard pressed to find a better tuna tartare in town. An exquisite combination of Ahi, herbs, roasted tomatoes, capers, onions, and a lemon vinaigrette served with crisp toast points, it dazzles the taste buds. Paired with champagne, it's like you died and went to heaven. The dry-aged ribeye was perfectly seared and complemented with stilton butter, bordelaise sauce, and mushrooms. The flavorful meat, rich sauce and earthy accompaniments paired well with a robust Cabernet. The flourless Grand Marnier chocolate cake with house made ice cream was decadent and delicious and paired nicely with the Ethiopian coffee. The casual side bar has been moved from downstairs to the bar area upstairs, creating a livelier atmosphere than before. Service is top notch. The wine list is excellent, and guests may also purchase wine at the shop downstairs. Excellent venue for a memorable dining experience.

We had phenomenal 60th birthday celebration for my husband here on Saturday evening with our 18 guests! The tables looked festive with birthday glitter and the food was delicious, as well as beautifully presented! We had a first class experience thanks to Moro's and Carla's excellent friendly service! Thank you, Sarah & Ashley for helping reserve & plan for this special occasion!

Such a nice place close by office. Wine selection is enormous, menu is limited but food quality and service is amazing. I've tried many items from entree from short ribs, duck confit, seabass, scallops to Ribeye. All are fantastic. If you're vegetarian they've got good options as well. In appetizers tuna Tartare, yellowtail and mushrooms toast are delicious.

An amazing dining experience. One of the best. I had the ribeye steak with the mushroom sauce and it was off the charts. The board of a sauce and the pearl onions just topped it off. My fiance had the scallops with the risotto and again, absolutely amazing. We can't wait to return. I will give this a five-star rating any day. Our server Amelia was amazing and kudos to the manager Morro. Everything was absolutely perfect. I'll be telling all my friends about my experience at Winesellar. I'll also be posting it on facebook.

We celebrated our anniversary at the WineSellar & Brasserie. It was our first time there since COViD19 started. We were extremely happy that we chose to celebrate there, the food was delicious, the service was super welcoming and they were really doing their best to give an excellent experience while still keeping everyone safe and keeping with regulations. We ordered the Ahi Tuna as appetizer and both of us ordered the Rib eye as entre, the portions were large and we left very satisfied from the experience.
